It's very rare to come across a place that checks off all the boxes and passes everything with flying colors. From the moment we walked in the door we felt like we were dining in an old friends home with fantastic food and delicious wine. Our server was Serda (hope I spelled that correct). She was very attentive, made amazing recommendations on the food and wine. We had the following (all equally amazing) - hummus, zucchini pancakes (a MUST), scallops and salmon. We will definitely be back again - we want to bring everyone we know here. The ambiance was beautiful and intimate, but also a place were you can kick back with friends. A big THANK YOU to the staff and SORRY my husband knocked over his water glass and I knocked mine over with

I went for the first time
I went for the first time on a Wednesday night and food was delicious. Very good live Turkish music started at 9pm. Lively atmosphere and also has a small outdoor area. Would definitely go back!

Service and food all great. Wine list - white wines starting at $60, not great.

Such a cute little neighborhood find, great food, not expensive, very nice comfortable decor.

Awesome little wine bar
The scene was really relaxed and the wine was delicious. There was a very sweet band playing but they were perfect to talk over as they were not too loud (a base, guitar, and violin). Definitely heading back!

amazing place in Chelsea
A must if you want some very good tapas (octopus is a MUST) and a very nice ambiance.

Wish they were open for lunch!
Food was fresh, light, and tasty. Wine list was extensive. Only flaw is they're not open for lunch!

Relaxing wine bar with great tapas
I consider this a good find in Chelsea. Excellent wine selection, but not too expensive. Their menu of tapas/small plates offers many choices - from meats, cheeses to some Mediterranean specialties. A nice location for meeting a friend for a drink.

Good date spot
Small but energetic bistro. The food is geared to tapas and the large wine by the glass list is perfect for a date. Most of the tables are 2-tops and the majority of the crowd was dates or small groups of friends.
Best aspects are: 1) the very affordable wine list. Most bottles are $35 to $50 and there is an interesting global selection with a strong slant to French. 2) the service they did a nice job of being there when you need them but not standing over you.
Overall we worth stopping by.

Good food bluck drinks
I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea. I guess cause not a signature drink the bar tender did not really know what he was doing. To me a good long island tastes like a good ice tea with a little kick. This tasted like random cheap alcohol with a splash of soda. At $12 a pop expected better. The food was great. The service was great for 9/10 of the meal. Right on the spot. However near the end of the meal when I felt should have been asked if something else or ready for the check we had to flag someone down. Funny thing is I expressed to my friend with me exact same thing about of all places Denny's.

Comfortable and amiable
The food was good, not outstanding, but quite good. The service was impeccable. Although the server was new, he was funny, helpful, alert, and quite charming. We were celebrating a birthday, and the birthday person had suggested the place, so we were not able to see the online coupon about the cheese dish, but the manager allowed us to take advantage of the deal anyway. The music was too much - it's a small place. The singer was good, but it was harder to talk when she was on. (Also it wasn't "live" music.) Perhaps less singing, more breaks.

Lovely food, overeager service
Really quite liked this place. It's an impressive menu at very reasonable prices. I had the Pierre Loti salad and the veal sausages - both very nice indeed. sausages especially well prepared. The service was a little intrusive and over-eager (nearly anytime a sip of water was had, the gentlemen with the water pitcher was there to refill - one of the servers was on his first day and didn't really speak english, so didn't understand that I was waiting for change for my bill). But wonderful atmosphere and very caring owners. I'll definitely be back and would recommend.

Love Pierre Loti!
Had a wonderful first experience here when we stopped by for a late dinner- great service, friendly and helpful staff, great food, lovely ambiance, and reasonable prices. It's rather small and intimate, so ideal for a date or with a couple of girlfriends. Will definitely come back again!

good cocktails and small bites
I didn't realize they had happy hour specials, so I definitely want to check that out. I already had 2 glasses of Malbec before heading to the restaurant, so I ordered a cocktail w/ blackberries & it was really good! It tasted fresh and it wasn't too sweet/syrupy. My friend and I ordered the bulgar pattie (my friend thought it tasted microwaved, but I liked it), the zucchini pancake and the scallops.
One thing I didn't like about this restaurant was how close the tables are to each other. One table on the side of us, I think it was their 1st date. The other side was a solo diner. I felt super cramped. To top it off, the long cushion behind my back wouldn't stay against the wall.
Service was good & there was no annoying hipster attitude.

Glass of Wine Mood maker
Great place to grab a drink over some small plates. They had a Jazz band playing and it wasn't too loud to talk over but just loud enough to really set a great ambiance. All the appetizers were great and we never felt rushed to leave.

Turrkish restaurant with a bit of Paris bistro. Nice place for sure.Food is fine- and prices are maintained to a reasonable level. Simple bistro food, and a nice wine list.

Great neighborhood find!
This is a terrific neighborhood place that's really cozy with terrific food. We ordered numerous small plates. The ezme, bulgur patties and octopus salad were delicious. The filet mignon was very tasty; we were allowed to sub the mashed potatoes for side-cut fries. There's an extensive wine list as well. Would definitely recommend this place. Only downside is that the lighting is very low...reading the menu can be a challenge. Great place for date night.

Nice ambiance and good food, portions are on the smaller side but well priced. Actually just right so you don't over eat.

meeting up with an old friend
While this was not a romantic date I could see how this place lends itself to such an occasion. I had the Pierre burger which was good and my friend had the salmon also good. The waiters left us alone, but were always available. Going to go back on a date for sure!!

A Turkish delight
As one who regularly travels to Turkey, it is pleasure to find a restaurant that serves authentic contemporary and traditiona Turksih food in a fun atmosphere. The grilled octopus (with potatos and carots) was tender and flavored as in Turkey. The grilled hellem cheese salad had the correct lighy but flavorable dressing. The lamb chops and the veal sussage were each a delight to the palate and just the right sized portion. Even the sour cherry cheesecake was authentic. There is a full service batr, but it was a wonderful to have a choice of both pilsner and dark Efes beer (the Turkish national beer). Although full, the service was attentive and friendly. A great neighborhood find.

The main dishes are great (lamb chops and veal saussage for example), but the mezes (appetizers or small plates) are the best. In true Turkish tradition , each as a distinct flavor. The esme (finely chopped tomatoes and spices) on warm pita bread is superb. Also, the zuchinni pancakes, the bulgar fritter, the grilled hellem cheese salad and the grilled octopus all provided a wonderful taste treat before the ample main courses. Plan to share.
