Food was good and the portions
Food was good and the portions were a bit bigger than expected. Definitely pricey and not a huge "by the glass" wine selection but will definitely go back.

Wonderful Hawaiian Experience
We had dinner at Pa'akai while staying at Turtle Bay resort. We sat by the window and had a wonderful view. Our waiter was fantastic - not at all intrusive but made sure we had everything we needed at all times and understood everything on the menu. We ordered the salt block appetiser which you cook yourself at the table and it was great. Our fish entrees were fantastic and our waiter even remembered that we hadn't ordered wine for this course and came to take our order prior to the meals arriving. The food was fresh and perfectly cooked and the flavours were amazing. We will always remember our dinner at Pa'akai.

Overall an elegant and romantic dining experience. The hostess, Elenore, was
charming and high class. Food was excellent except that my wife found her filet a bit dry, asked for gravy, which helped. Biggest downer was that the salt shaker, which was not on the table but which was provided when requested, was full of caked salt, wouldn't pour. The second shaker was also full of caked salt. Waiter finally brought an open dish of salt and small spoon, which should have been served to begin with. The name of the restaurant, Pa'akai, after all means 'sea salt.'

Great meal with a beautiful view!
The salt block was a fantastic appetizer. We shared an order between 4 of us and it was perfect. We didn't even use the sauces because the flavor from the salt block was just right. Then we shared a poke table side dish. It was fresh, delicious, and the chile pepper water gave it a nice light kick.

Excellent fish dishes all around!!!
One of our best meals during our stay at Turtle Bay Resort (and that's saying a lot since most every meal was memorable). I had the monchang and my husband had the seared ahi. Both were fabulous. Started with the hot salt block when you get to "grill" your own shrimp, scallops, beef carpaccio. Beautiful restaurant, great wine list. Service was prompt and attentive but could have been a bit less formal and a little more friendly. Regardless, we would go back in a heartbeat! Nice job.

Great romantic dining
Had a nice view from our table at the window over the pool at night. Enjoyed delicious opah in a tomato pesto sauce. Much better than next door kula grill.

Excellent Food and Service
We truly enjoyed the meal and the ambience is quite lovely; a great option for a fine dining experience which is otherwise hard to find around the North Shore.

Wine and food pairing
I've been to a few wine and food pairings at Pa'akai (formerly 21 Degrees). They are a great social opportunity to really spend quality time over a quality dining and wine service with friends. Typically these events run over the course of a few hours - great insights shared by a wine expert, great presentations by chefs, and the opportunity to become more cultured in culinary matters! It's a fun way to learn more while sharing a memorable time with your favorite people. While I work behind the scenes at Turtle Bay, Pa'akai remains one of my top 3 restaurants on Oahu to share with visiting guests. Reliably a great experience.

Everything dealing with meal was outstanding. The food was delicious, hot and came right on time. Service was great as well, very knowledgeable of the menu and foods and had great recommendations. Pa'akai is the epitome of a fine dining experience.

The food was very good. A must have is the Himalayan salt block appetizer course. My guest and I both had different roasted fish filet dinners (one was Monchong and the other Kampachi), and both were cooked to perfection.

Worth the drive from Honolulu
The food was very good. We had two vegans in our and they were very open and helpful. The tasting menu was amazing and with the wine pairing it was extremely reasonable.
The only complain that the restaurant would need to be refurbished a bit. But the view is wonderful so it is still worth the trip.
Best Mai tai in Oahu!

Special occasion spot w/ a view
My husband and I went for dinner during our honeymoon and loved it. We'd been hitting up local Haleiwa spots and shrimp trucks for most of the week, so it was great to cap the trip with a nice Turtle Bay dinner. We had the tasting menu and all of the courses were delicious. It being Hawaii, I'd highly recommend any of the seafood dishes, and the chocolate haupia ice cream was a tasty treat that I haven't ever had elsewhere. The view was spectacular, and though we were by far the youngest people at the restaurant without kids, the vibe was not overly stuffy.
