Excellent experience. A real
Excellent experience. A real twist on Latin flavors. Their plantain bread with cilantro oil was just the first surprise of the evening. Fish was perfect, pork was so moist. Dessert was the only let down - but just a little. We'll be going back. Perfect pre/post dinner spot!

What a great evening we had
What a great evening we had at Province! The food was wonderful and very creative. We loved the flatbread and empanada appetizers. The beef short rib was melt in your mouth and the steaks were perfectly prepared. However, the service was even more outstanding. First, we met Kyl, our waitperson, who gave our table top-notch service and was gracious and good-humored throughout. We also enjoyed Derek, who shared his Thai heritage with us, and gave us great service. Drago, the assistant manager, even stopped by to make certain we were being well attended. We highly recommend this restaurant and don't be put off by the fact that it is in the Westin Hotel. Province is entirely its own separate space on the street level.

Province has an interesting,
Province has an interesting, ecclectic South American influenced menu that includes an excellent selection of tapas in addition to full plates. Every selection we've sampled over multiple visits has been delicious as well as thoughtfully presented. The wine list is extensive, the staff are friendly and accomodating and the location is perfect for pre-theatre and pre-concert dining. Reasonable pricing is a bonus.

Province -- A Must-Try place!
Wonderful experience for my first timing dining at Province! The food is amazing! Oliver, our waiter, was very friendly and attentive! Can't wait to take my brother there, as he really loves Spanish-style foood! I have to try Sunday Brunch there sometime! Great patio for evening cocktails and wine! Loved the live Flamenco music on the Friday night I was there!

Classy, well-managed place,
Classy, well-managed place, excellent staff. Food strives for a pan-Latin chic but does not fully succeed. Too eclectic in my opinion, lacks a coherent theme. Still, not bad, and the total experience is very pleasant.

Beautiful outdoor patio!
Beautiful outdoor patio! This is one of the best restaurants in Phoenix/Scottsdale. Each dish is so well-prepared and full of flavors. If its a beautiful evening, ask for patio seating which adds to your dining experience.

AMAZING! The service was absolutely incredible.
Unlike anywhere we have ever dinned. Every aspect of
this place is off the charts. The dining experience is OUTSTANDING from
the initial greeting as we arrived, to the service, and food presentation.
Hands down! Every entree looks like a masterpiece and taste like one!
This restaurant comes highly recommended, and for a good reason.
They try their hardest to be the best - and they are!
If you want to take your special someone to a place that will knock your socks off - then
look no further! We had special Menus saying : province wishes xxxxx happy 9th anniversary! Just amazing!
The food is unique as it combines native Latin American food.
We came for our anniversary dinn

Tapas and Organic Martinis - Yum
We had a lovely evening at Province starting off with their organic gin martinis - really interesting and refreshing taste. The we order a variety of vegetarian tapas entrees. Prior to the arrival of our order, we enjoyed a lovely bread with olive oil and a special appetizer from the chef. Then the tapas came - the chickpea starter was really tasty and interesting. We enjoyed the olives as a starter too but would have preferred the olives to be cool not warm. The Arroz was great and the asparagus was cooked just right.

Came here with my family to celebrate a special occasion. I did some research for fun restaurants in Phoenix and this one sounded the most fun. The food we had was extremely good. I really loved the South American inspired dishes, and the Arroz Amarillo was incredible! Our waiter, Kyle, was very personable and we all became "best friends" very quickly. We ate rather late, and they kept the kitchen open for us! At the end of the night, Kyle had brought out a complimentary celebratory dessert of their donuts hole pastries, which of course were extremely good. I'm recommending Province to anyone who wants a relaxed, enjoyable, amazing dining experience.

Mothers day brunch
Pretty good actually. Eggs Benedict and the Waffles were great. Pastrys leave much to be desired. Service was good. We were surprised that the coffee was extra. I mean $3.50 per person for regular coffee on top of the $29.00 buffet price. Lots of stree noise when sitting outside. Too bad, I realize that have no control over that. Overall we had a nice time.

awesome mother's day brunch!
What can I say? Province always delivers on food and service! The brunch choices were fantastic; started with the belgian waffles with a nice choice of toppings. I had to go with the caramel sauce andit was awesome. Then i had my choice of a number if options for eggs Benedict. I could not decide so i had two different types, the province which had perfectly cooked steak and great chimichurri hollandaise and bacon with ancho chili hollandaise. They were both very tasty. The bakery items were top notch and a wonderful bloody mary bar as well as a mimosa bar. Another awesome visit to province!

Although part of a downtown
Although part of a downtown hotel (the Westin), the restaurant is tastefully decorated and seems to stand on its own. Its open, bright, clean, and bistro like, but not very noisy, which was nice. The outdoor eating space is large and nicely appointed, and well shielded from downtown traffic. The food was delicious. I had the asparagus salad and corn chowder soup for lunch and both were freshly made and flavorful without being overdone.
Our server, Steve, was professional and attentive.
I look forward to having a happy hour there and trying out the wine list.

Service was attentive and
Service was attentive and personable and the pacing of the courses for our Restaurant Week dinner was perfect . Our server adapted with ease to our group's interest in conversation. We never felt rushed, and it made it all the more special and enjoyable. The amuse bouche was a nice surprise! We enjoyed both the Restaurant Week menu and one of us chose the seasonal (page 2) menu...both were wonderful. We're happy to have discovered this restaurant and will be back! Johnsons & Rothrocks

Province...and special occasions..
My grandson and his high school group had gone there for Prom and they had a wonderful experience, so for our celebration of his graduation, we we went there after the ceremony...we all had a lovely evening...Many kudos to the chef and kitchen crew, and the wait staff was wonderful. I will return again, and I look forward to the patio service in the fall!

We Had An Amazing Time!
My honey and I went to Province last Friday and it was fantastic. The music was incredible. One of my favorite guitarists - Chris Jacome - was playing flamenco music while his wife, Lena, danced (which is initially why we came here). We arrived at 7:00 (which is when the music started) and it wasn't very busy, but the place quickly filled up by 8:00 and I was glad we had gotten there early. Our waiter Kyle was awesome and left us wanting for nothing all night (thank you, Kyle!). The food was deelish and I am in love with the red sangria! This place is definitely in our rotation - we can't wait to go back!
5/30/2013 4:00:00 PM
Although the dinner was supposed to be romantic, the tables are too closely placed and my wife and I ended up listening to the couple next to us. This was annoying, but the service staff was exceptional. The food was plentiful and very tasty. The price would be in the range of $$$, but was comparable to the quality of food. We would return if we were in the area, but it would not be a restaurant we sought out for the night. There are just too many other places in PHX would we like to try!
6/6/2013 4:00:00 PM
This was our first time dining at Province. Our friends told us to try the restaurant since it is ideally located for pre-theatre meals if you are going to downtown venues, which we were on Saturday night 6/8. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food (my husband had the pork and I had the chicken) but more so we totally enjoyed our meal due to the exceptional service we received from our waiter, Sam and Manager, Dragon. We ordered a marvelous apple dessert on Sam's recommendation and totally enjoyed his attention to our meal and overall dining experience. We actually want to return to Province to have Sam wait on us so we can visit again with him!

Best Place to Eat in Phoenix
I may have reviewed Province before, but I don't care, I'm doing it again. Province is literally the best place I've ever eaten in Phoenix. Located inside the Downtown Phoenix Westin Hotel, Province is somewhat of a hidden gem. I would put Province's cuisine against any of the stereotypical Fine Phoenix Dining spots (Elements, Different Pointe of View, Compass Room, etc...). There are many great Phoenix dining spots, but from a quality of food standpoint, Province is the only place I've been to where I always get something different, because I know it will always be amazing. You can dress up or dress down here, and the customer service is always excellent. Staff is polite and attentive without being overly so. Love this place!

Great Spot, LACKED patrons
Went for a late evening dinner on a Friday night, and the place was literally EMPTY.
A great looking restaurant, but without customers, was very sad. I asked out server, and he stated that July in Phoenix is by far the most quiet time of the year business wise.
I would suggest that the restaurant have summer hours, it's a bit misleading when they are accepting dinner revervations at 10 p.m.

I went for dinner with a friend on my birthday and it was great, We were able to order off of the happy hour menu even though we sat in the dinning room and not the bar. The food was amazing and the service was really good.

Wonderful brunch experience
I came here for brunch with my mom, using the Travelzoo deal I had purchased. We had an excellent experience! The food was very good and the service and atmosphere was excellent. Valet parking was complimentary.

First time ever at Province and want to continue going. I loved the ambiance, food, and staff. They will be doing an event called Latin American Passport where they will serve food from a specific Latin American country each month on Saturdays. Really looking forward to this event.

Great food, service - fantastic ent
Went to see Chris Burton Jacome and dancer Elena on a Friday. Got a table right in front and was served immediately by an excellent server who recommended the halibut - Great choice, it was outstanding. The manager followed up to be sure my wife and I were enjoying ourselves, and we surely were. I will be back for sure. This is a GREAT date night place, as it is not too big and crowded, and being able to enjoy the flamenco while we dined was just perfect! We will be back!

An oasis in downtown Phoenix
I've been wanting to try Province for some time and my initial visit did not disappoint. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was impeccable. It's very easy to locate on the corner of Van Buren and Central and they offer free valet parking with validation. Although we sat inside for lunch, I would like to come back for brunch and sit on the patio. With it's flowing water feature and crystal firepit, I imagine it would be very serene out there. Can't wait to go back!

My first time...
After driving around in circles, my lunch companion heard good things about Province and here we are. He had a delicious cinnamon bun fresh, warm w/homemade cream and caramel and finished his meal w/the burger which was moist and juicy, cooked just right.
I had the pulled pork hash and although it isn't the traditional 'corned beef hash' it was very good. Just enough spice and the potatoes were cooked just right not too soft nor too hard; also very important the coffee was very good! No too strong and not too weak, once again just right.
Last but not least the staff Alicia, David, Maurice (sous chef) and Eliana greeted me with a smile and had a great welcoming attitude.

PERUVIAN PASSPORT DINNER
The food was perfectly prepared and presented. A little heavy on the corn, but overall delicious. Service was impeccable.

The décor was top notch and the service was outstanding. The meal was very very good, but should be listed as Cubin not American.

We went to Province for a business lunch and sat outside on the patio. The patio is very nice and protected from the traffic and noise of Central. The service was excellent and the food was very good and prepared as ordered. The menu has a wide variety of choices and designates which dishes can be prepared vegetarian or vegan. I will definitely try Province for dinner.

Brunch at Province
Province is located inside the Westin hotel in downtown Phoenix. Parking is super easy with a valet service and 3 hours free with validation. Province is pretty with pink the dominant theme - but not overly "girly" - my husband likes it - very spare and streamlined décor. Yesterday was our second visit for brunch - we both had the eggs benedict. The citrusy Hollandaise sauce is super yummy. They have a nice selection of beers on tap and make a good mixed drink - spicy Bloody Mary! We will definitely return.
