The food at Trois Canards is solid and the prices are very reasonable. You will be hard-pressed to find better escargot. These came right from the shell in a beautiful presentation. The French onion soup was excellent as well. The noise level is a little extreme however.

A charming restaurant, very small but somehow not noisy; very French in feel. A perfect place to have dinner before going to the Joyce theater just down the block.

Charming place, delicous food
Went post-theater. Very nice, quiet spot. Small and intimate. Excellent food. They lose a full service point for forgetting the souffle that was ordered with dinner; and rather than admitting their mistake, they kept us waiting an extra 30 minutes for it--we would have passed and picked something else as it was late.

Classic French bistro fare,
Classic French bistro fare, nicely prepared and not overpriced, served in an attractive though extremely small space. The experience is somewhat marred by overly loud music, as if the owner was trying to capture the bar scene, which is somewhere else.

A small cozy restaurant with good French food. My friends and I all enjoyed the spread. We all agreed that we would definitely come back. The duck breast special was cooked perfectly, medium rare!

My grandson who like me likes
My grandson who like me likes French food enjoyed the meal very much, as did I. The escagots were perfect, soft and garlecky as they shoud be. We had tickets for a dance performance at the Joyce so we had the excellent , and extremely well priced pre-fix dinner. Every dish was well cooked and nicely presented. I had often been to Trois Canards at their old place on 8th avenue, and although this venue was much smaller, the food was as good as ever.C'est avec plaisir que nous vous avons retrocé

This is a small restaurant
This is a small restaurant connected to sister restaurant Tello's. If it's not too busy you are allowed to order from both menus.
There is a $19.99 prix-fixe dinner between 5-7PM that is a great value - Posted on their website. The Garlic Flan with sautéed mushrooms was wonderful.
Portions are large - Enough to share if you order appetizers and dessert - We took doggie bags on our first visit. The Chocolate Souffle with Grand Marnier Sauce was heavenly.

Nice little French restaurant
I took my wife here for our 5th anniversary. We love to eat French food and go with the whole theme. We ordered escargot, steak, chocolate mousse and cappuccinos, all of which were very good. We had a great wine experience with the Pinot noir Bourgogne. It pairs very well with meat dishes. The prices for everything were quite reasonable for a special occasion. We will visit again.

Fabulous as always
We go there every time we are In NYC. Never disappointing . Sole is fabulous . Escargot and artichoke special should be on the menu as a staple.

The specials of the day were absolutely fantastic! As is my custom, I took a little bit of everything home for my husband to try, but he didn't get to eat it until the following day. My husband, not overly fond of duck, said that this meal was absolutely spectacular! The mushroom ravioli was a wonderful find, and the Grand Marnier souffle was superb!

LIKE BEING IN PARIS
Everything was excellent - the only flaw in an impeccable evening was the very small amount of wine served for $10 glass - about half the amount we expected.

Classic French Bistro
Went for a last dinner in NYC prior to moving my son into college. Cute bistro atmosphere. Escargot were good, but we split 6 among the 3 of us, and one was empty! The portions of the entrees were very generous. My duck with orange sauce was very good. The stuffed roast chicken was dry. The Grand Marnier souffle tasted like a vanilla -- maybe it was a mistake. It was a pleasant evening, but would not go out of my way to come here again.

We met out of town friends for dinner and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The restaurant was rather empty which made it very easy for conversation. The food was delicious and well priced and the service was knowledgeable. We would return.

I live in Chelsea and love this restaurant. The service is always wonderful and the place reminds me of being in Paris. It is really charming.
The food is very good and the waiter Armando is excellent.
I come here at least 3X a month and would recommend it highly. I usually go for dinner but brunch is excellent.

Romantic & delicious!
This is a lovely romantic spot for a slow paced, relaxed & totally delicious meal. I thought the prices were also excellent for the quality & quantity of food too. The staff was friendly & very accommodating & welcoming.

Wonderful hole-in-the-wall Bistro
A small room, with faux French posters gives one a very comfortable, cozy feeling. The roast duck was perfect, with just the right amount of crispy skin and tender meat. A very nice selection of reasonably priced wines. A wonderful find for not much money.
