The owner, Ciro, and his staff
The owner, Ciro, and his staff are always ready to greet you with a warm welcome. Everything is always fresh and delish. The LINGUINE NERE AI FRUTTI DI MARE is amazing, and don't forget to have the FOCACCIA ROBIOLA DI CIRO! The daily specials are not to be missed either. The desserts are exquisite especially the Tiramisu, cheesecake, and the MILLE FOGLIE DI FRAGOLA. They are mouthwatering good!!

Who knew--a really good restaurant
Who knew--a really good restaurant in Murray Hill? Went with a group of 7, and they could not have been more accommodating (one of us was on crutches). Anything that comes out of the wood-burning oven is delicious; pastas seem to be more hit-or-miss. Not a place for drinking--the bar isn't well-stocked, and I wouldn't order anything more complicated than a martini. The wine list is small, but has a good range. But the food was an incredibly pleasant surprise.

Always reliable, our neighborhood
Always reliable, our neighborhood go-to place. Very accommodating waitstaff. There's an upstairs dining room which tends to be quieter unless there's a large party.

Nice neighborhood gem
Very nice overall. Pizza was great, good wine selection, and prompt service. Great choice if you're in the area and looking for some good Italian food. The locals seem to recommend it quite a bit so it might get busy at times. It was quiet when I arrived at 6:00 but was filling up as I left.

Our new local favorite!
My fiance and I normally come in to sit and dine at the bar near the wood burning stove and share in some lively conversation. We just brought in the rest of the family for a special occasion dinner and everyone was very complimentary. All of the special requests were fulfilled and the all of the Italians loved it!

Never forget this food, ever!
This could be one of my favorite dining restaurants in NYC.
You HAVE to have the faccacio pizza with Robiola before dinner baked in their wood burning over. I get it with overn dried tomatoes, arugula and prosciutto. The most memorable pizza experiences you'll ever have. And Ciro is a amazing chef. Many recipes are ones developed watching his Mom cook when he was young. I had the fresh fish baked in the same over. a d for an app, the baked clams. The tiramisu is the best you'll ever have. One regret: i wish I had room for a ceasar salad!

Wonderful authentic Italian food
Lovely neighborhood restaurant with excellent food, much of which is prepared in an authentic wood-burning oven. A treat!

When we lived New York we would eat Da Ciro about once a month. Everytime we travel back to the city we always dine at Da Ciro. Great food and great service.

Again, I love this place.....
Back again!!! This time we had the fresh linguini with summer vegetables, mushrooms and sausage; fresh ricotta eggplant ravioli; backed with their brick oven pizza to share with our bottle of chilled friuliano. Another amazing meal. Looking forward to next time!

good wine choice, good pizza
I eat there often, and usually eat fish, but had pizza. The 4-cheese was excellent.

I was very pleased with my Italian dinner there is past Saturday. We had purchased a gift card at a charity silent auction.
My wife and I sampled a lot of the menu and we found it to be excellent.
The veal meatballs served in the casserole dish were a terrific starter, as was the beef carpaccio with mushrooms and cheese.
A nice tri color salad (looked great) was a nice transition to the main meal.
Orechiette with broccoli rabe and sauase was great--as was my wife's rigatoni with eggplant.
The desserts were excellent too - coffee-flavored tartufo and a light Napolean.
Definitely coming back.

Have been many times over
Have been many times over the years and DaCiro never disappoints. Can honestly say that I've never had a bad dish.

Although from Massachusetts,
Although from Massachusetts, we dine at Da Ciro as often as we can. It's size makes it always feel warm and comfortable and the food is consistently terrific. We hae been dining at Da Ciro from over 10 years and can defintely state that we've never had a bad meal there. From red sauce dishes to more Northen Italian fare to pizzas, it's always top-notch. And the Robbiolo-focaccia pizza is heaven on a plate!
