While Quattro is always a dependable place for a good business lunch, I have rarely been wowed here. Dinner here is a very different experience. This is serious Italian food at a very reasonable price (considering the quality).

We walked over to the Four Seasons Sunday morning for Quattro's famed Sunday Brunch. And 2 hours later, we waddled out after having tried what seems like a little of everything. 1st things 1st: this Brunch is not cheap. At $55 per person, it's not an every week--or even every month--event. BUT that price DOES include bottomless mimosas, champagne and/or bloody marys.
Stars included: chicken tikka masala, rotisserie chicken, indiv beef wellingtons, cold boiled shrimp, portabellas, sushi, omelets, sausages, caviar, lox, cheese & fruit.
A quick tip: although brunch "starts" at 10;30, the breakfast station didn't transition to brunch mode til 10:45 and the id placards on the salads and hot foods were not out till then either.

The glutton free option was excellent and the pasta outstanding, the staff was well versed on the subject and made sure you were not served anything with glutton in it. It was not a "chore" for them to accommodate you, it was their pleasure.

Mother's Day Brunch
Excellent event in all aspects. We must particularly commend the staff and Mr Kuiper for the hospitality shown.

Mother's Day Brunch
This year's theme was French-inspired and it was great! I loved the cheeses but my daughter thought they were stinky! I always use open table to book my mother's day and easter brunch at the 4 seasons and it works beautifully! The food and service was impeccable!

mother's day brunch - decadent
We went to Quattro for Mother's Day brunch so I'm not sure how it stacks up on other occasions, but what we experienced was fantastic - completely decadent, over-the-top options including a caviar station, an array of pate, lamb ribs with black truffle butter, an amazing dessert station, and more. They also had a "Decorate Your Own Cupcake" station which was really creative and great for families. I would highly highly recommend it for special occasions.

We had brunch at 11:00am.
We had brunch at 11:00am. The website said the attire was smart casual but you can go in just about any clothing you wish. People wore flip flops to business suits. The layout was impressive and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Quiet adult atmosphere
Quattro had a quiet atmosphere with a highly attentive, friendly staff. The food was excellent, especially the special that night the shrimp risotto. Staff was able to make wine recommendation that complemented both meals and satisfied our diverse tastes in a wine. The chef's parting gift of cookies was a nice touch.

Excellent Anniversary dinner!
Me and the wife enjoyed a nice Sunday evening here. It wasn't very crowded at all so the mood was very quiet -- a lovely table overlooking the front of the Four Seasons. Excellent waiter service from Manuel and his attendings.
The INSALATA DI AUTUNNO was excellent -- the combination of figs and pine nuts was absolutely delicious in our salad. The PROSCUITTO E PAPPA AL POMODORO was probably the only dish of the entire meal that we didn't enjoy -- the plating was excellent...but the pomodoro just tasted a little too salty for our taste.
For the main course, we tried the Salmon and Chilean Sea Bass. Both were excellent. For dessert, we were told to try the tiramisu...and it did not disappoint.
All and all, an excellent meal!
6/2/2013 12:00:00 AM
The only thing that was not done correctly, was two steak tenderloins ordered. They were not cooked to the guests specifications. However, one meal was comped, and dessert was also comped. That did ease the disappointment.

Food/Waitor were great
The food was really good. I would need a 2nd visit to see how I feel about the place. It was a little empty for a Saturday night, but it could have been for a number of reasons, or maybe most of their business is done during the week. Our waitor was very nice and professional. He checked on us several times, and always smiled. Good location, good prices, good staff, and most importantly, good food.

Nice place for dinner
Food and service were both terrific. Kids loved it as well. Moderately-priced. Nice wine list. Great place to grab lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. Highly recommend.

Personal service at every turn
The personal service by our server and her staff more than made up for it. Dishes were explained to us as they were delivered (Travelzoo Prix Fixe Voucher), and a staff of four handled the service - adding and removing silverware, sides, bread, drinks, topping off water and Prosecco, changing dishes, etc.. We have been to many chic and boutique hotels in Houston, and the service here surpassed them all by at least 100%. This experience was similar to our best dining experience at Aureole and the Asiate at The Mandarin in New York City, but was less than half the price. We also were visited by the chef (Maurizio Ferrarese) who made sure we were satisfied with all aspects of our experience.
6/22/2013 12:00:00 AM
We knew this was an excellent restaurant from the buzz and reviews, and Quattro did not disappoint. Great wine list and well-developed menu, excellent wait staff and an upscale environment made this an excellent meal. We had Lasagna Bolognese (with an urban flavor) and Filetto di Manzo (perfectly prepared. The eggplant risotto was phenomenal. The best part for me was dessert. The trio of sorbets was the best I've ever tasted. My wife had the pie in a jar made at the table and enjoyed it.
Total bill with 2 glasses of wine was $150 + tip. It's on the high side of the fine dining experience, but well worth it.

Surprisingly busy on a Saturday
Surprisingly busy on a Saturday night [maybe it was concerts at nearby House of Blues or Toyota Center]--we enjoyed our meal. The beef carpaccio was serviceable while the osso bucco [off the bone and served over polenta] was really, really good. We found a nice wine on the Italian dominated wine list--though wish the price had been a little nicer. All in all, a pleasant experience.
Oh, and I forgot about the amuse bouche of goat cheese atop fig. Maybe the best bite of the night.
6/29/2013 12:00:00 AM
We were amazed by all 6 courses of our meal. They were presented in unique ways with many different dishes. From start to finish we enjoyed the tasty food. A Foodie delight!

Perfect Night Out
Took my mother here for a nice dinner before we saw Wicked. I was pleased we were able to make a reservation on such short notice. The window seating gave us a perfect view of downtown, which added to the excitement of the night. We sipped delicious cocktails and knew the meal would be epic when even the Caprese salad wow'd us! We shared the eggplant parmesan and were delighted when the waiter said that we could make any pasta appetizer into an entree as we both wanted in on the potato mint ravioli. We were so stuffed that we unfortunately had to turn down dessert. I'd definitely like to go back and try to save room next time!

I have been to this restaurant many times. Usaually the brunch, which is fabulous!! The food was perfect and the service was impeccable. We sat by the window and that was nice. The only thing is when I got the bill, my friends three glasses of charrodney was $45.00. That was very shocking!! $15.00 a glass. I'm almost sure that I could have bought a bottle or two for that amount. So, beware if you get drinks. It is expensive and that's why I like going to their brunch. At least, if you are going to pay big money, you get a large variety of fabulous food and unlimited mimosas, champagne, and bloody marys.

Localvore with international Flair
Great menu with Texas selections. Chef is looking out for fresh local fare and combines with fine meat and fish selections for perfection. Authentic Italian Flavor in contemporary presentation. Perfectly delicious.

Although very pricey, this restaurant is great for special occasions. The quality of service is great.

My wife and i really love the atmosphere, food and service at Quattro. Has a really nice and intimate feel to the setting.

Great service and great food.
Great service and great food. Veal ossobuco was outstanding, wife loved the Chilean sea bass! Crème brulee tart for dessert was a disappointment - it was just a slice of egg custard pie.

I really enjoy Quattro for
I really enjoy Quattro for serious business lunches. The food is always good and avante garde, so guests appreciate it too.
7/26/2013 12:00:00 AM
Just right serving sizes
Food was sensitively flavoured and well presented. Serving size was smaller than that in average American restaurants and just right.

Our 4th at the Quattro
We had a very nice and relaxing dinner... celebrating our 4th anniversary. Theu even made up a special 4th themed dessert for us.. very thoughtful. The portions and taste were excellent.

Went to the Quattro Restaurant at The Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Houston during Houston food Week. Ordered from the pre-fixe menu with a portion of the proceeds benefitting The Houston Food Bank. It was my first time to Quattro. It was excellent...great food, great service, great ambiance. Dining Room overlooked downtown.

Always enjoy the good Sunday brunch at Quattro. We make an annual summer trip to Houston to see the Astros play and have Sunday brunch at Quattro.

The service provided by every member of this restaurant's staff is exceptional and exceeds that of any restaurant in Houston. The food is delicious and the atmosphere comforting.

Great for Dining!
Just wanted to enjoy a quiet evening with my wife along with a great meal. The food was great, albeit, the portions are quite small. However, the service was excellent due to the staff working as a team. I'd recommend this restaurant to others.

We had such a great dinner at Quattro. The osso bucco was great, and our server Matt was awesome!

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner experience. The service was excellent, with surprise tastings and our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. We will be back.

Fantastic downtown dining!
I took my wife to the Four Seasons for a Stay-cation for her birthday. We had an incredible dinner at Quattro. They have local grass fed beef on their menu which is very hard to find here in Houston. I ordered that while my wife ordered the Gulf grouper and we asked them to split the entrées for us which they did with marvelous presentation. This restaurant seems to be overlooked because on a Saturday night, they weren’t very busy but my wife and I have dinned here many times being downtown loft dwellers. It’s absolutely one of the best restaurants in all of Houston regarding food, service and atmosphere. By the way, if you've never tried the Sunday brunch here, it's THE BEST in Houston!

Quiet and Elegant
This is a nice option if you are in the convention center area.
The food and service is very good.
10/8/2013 12:00:00 AM
Excellent service Start to finish.
We had an hors d' oeuvres complimentary from the chef. It was delicious. The mushrooms hidden at the bottom set off the taste buds. We had the seafood appetizer, again delicious. My wife ordered the eggplant and I ordered the grain fed mignon. One was just as good as the other. Both brilliantly paired with delicious sides. The Waiter and staff explained every item that was brought to our table. And smelling the food they put in front of us and them taking the time to describe it was like teasing our taste buds. You just want them to walk away so you can put a bite in your mouth. It sounded good, it smelled even better, and the taste was magnificent. A+ for the atmosphere, A++ for the staff, and A+++ for the Chef.
10/11/2013 12:00:00 AM
Good but very rich food
Always very accommodating but watch the menu, some items are very rich.
10/11/2013 5:00:00 PM
We enjoyed our Saturday night out there. It was a wonderful experience and good food as well. We will definitely be back again as well as recommending to our friends.
10/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
We had some problems when we arrived but we were taken care of and very pleased with the General Manager, Brane Poledica's, attention to service. Thank you!!
10/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
It has been a while since we've been to Quattro, too long. I forgot how great the chef is. The presentation and clever combination of ingredients puts him in a class by himself.
10/28/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great celebration dinner spot.
I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. We had a nice bottle of red; I recommend the prisoner. My steak was a good cut and perfectly cooked, and she loved the veal.
11/2/2013 12:00:00 AM
Excellent customer service
This restaurant is wonderful. With great service and excellent food certainly a place to come back to.
11/4/2013 4:00:00 PM
Good for business lunch
We had a group of 6 for a business lunch and the food was great, the room was quiet and allowed us to all hear eachother talk.
11/5/2013 4:00:00 PM
Quiet Gem Downtown
This is the second time we have been to this restaurant. I have been surprised both times that it was not full, as the food is really good, artfully presented, and delivered by prompt, courteous service. The crowd at the restaurant was mid-30's on average and definitely upscale. I would recommend this place for a special occasion downtown, but don't forget to validate your valet ticket to avoid the $22 parking fee!
11/7/2013 4:00:00 PM
Sunday brunches at Quattro are simply spectacular. So much to choose from that you will either miss out on something delicious or walk away completely stuffed. For the $55 tariff, you get to select from 5 different stations. Start with breakfast: eggs to order, meats, potatoes, waffles, french toast, pastries, fruit. Go to the "cold" room: a dozen prepared salads including caesar, portabella mushrooms, brussels sprouts; a mini sushi bar, lox and bagels, cold boiled shrimp and crab claws. Or the cheese and charcuterie table. Ready for some lunchier food? Enter the kitchen for soups, pastas, carved meats, roasted veggies and weekly specials. Desserts? An array of individually portioned sweets. Oh...bottomless mimosas or champagne too.
11/9/2013 4:00:00 PM
Great dining experience
I wanted a light dinner so I ordered a salad and gazpacho soup. The salad was delicious - just wish it had one or two more slices of fig and cheese shavings. The gazpacho soup was also very good and I liked the presentation - it was served in a bowl made out of ice. My friend enjoyed his lasagna but a bit surprised when it came to the table in a white sauce instead of the typical tomato based sauce. I would definitely eat here again the next time I'm in Houston.
11/20/2013 4:00:00 PM
I ordered a waffle and sausage. My friend ordered the oatmeal with fresh fruit. My waffle was delicious. I typically don't use butter, but the cinnamon whipped butter was too good to skip. The sausage links were good, but I prefer sausage patties. The oatmeal was also very good.
11/21/2013 4:00:00 PM
We reserved early but were placed in a corner near the bar. The seafood table was excellent and they kept it up constantly. The meats were also very good but there was always a long line for the turkey and stuffing and so there should have been at least two tables for this. There were not many hot vegetables. The individual salads were a nice idea. We were all disappointed with the deserts which seemed like store bought and nothing like a nice proper pecan pie for example. However, we did have a pleasant brunch but the price was very high.
11/27/2013 4:00:00 PM
My family and I spent thanksgiving week in Houston and had our thanksgiving dinner at Quattro. The restaurant had good ambience. They offered a 3 course dinner that day:
1. appetizer buffet which was abundant and of good quality
2. Entrees choices: turkey, a fish, or pasta. My son and I had the turkey which was excellent and my wife enjoyed the fish.
3. Dessert platter: tarte selections and profiteroles. This was the biggest disappointment. Flavor was fine but the crusts were all soggy, or not cooked enough.
Service was consistently good. All in all the meal was pleasant.

Feast without lifting a finger
Usually we spend Thanksgiving on vacation. This year something came up so we were faced with Thanksgiving at home with no family nearby. Rather than spend our efforts cooking for just us and with finicky kid eaters we found this. We're not big into fancy Thanksgiving meals, but this has all you can want and some other stuff too (Oysters, Sushi). We all ate our fill, the girls under 6 were free but they had their fill of multiple kid friendly options. The game room with gingerbread house crafts for the girls gave us a nice half an hour to ourselves to enjoy the more decadent dessert options. Would do again for any major occasion. Eat like a king!

Downtown Houston for Thanksgiving
We decided to treat ourselves to Thanksgiving Dinner at the 4 Seasons in Downtown Houston this year. We had friends that were close to begging us to please come to their homes; but we stood our ground and kept our reservation at Quattros! The evening was everything we expected and then some. Food was scrumptuous (bread sticks that the pastry and butter just melted in your mouth); great wine and champagne choices; attentive waitstaff; and very kind chef that came out amongst the diners and catered to my desires to have off the menu items served.
