Overall very nice. Appetizer
Overall very nice. Appetizer Crab Cakes, not so hot. Steak Sliders with Salad and Truffle Fries, very good.
Need to try the flat bread.

Solid wine bar with extensive
Solid wine bar with extensive list, but light on the by-the-glass options. Our server made an excellent recommendation and our lunch (flatbread, soup, and fries) was very good. Nosh is just far enough away from Old Market to escape the ruckus. A few too many TVs.

It was not very busy this
It was not very busy this Tuesday evening. The bartender told us to sit where ever we liked & brought us menus. It was my wife's birthday. He later bought her a birthday shot. They have our favorite cocktail on the menu, Moscow Mules, and serve them in a proper copper mug. They have a very nice and varied menu. One section called Noshing and another for entrees. We started with the Nosh Board, a variety of meats, cheeses and other goodies served with crisp, warm bread. It was huge, more than enough for 2, and delicious. Part way through we realized this would fill us up even though there were many things on the menu we wanted to try. The Ambiance is charming but the music could have been softer for my taste. We will be back many times.

Our Easter brunch was simply delicious, the portion sizes weren't overwhelming and they had an excellent variety of unique items on the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, Dominic was our waiter and he did a great job serving our table. Will definitely go again soon!

Before a concert
My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at Nosh, before a concert at The Holland. Nosh was alive with a full crowd, verging on the point of a waiting line. Our meal was wonderful and our beers were cold and refreshing. We'll be back!

Simply my favorite wine venue in Omaha! Planning to celebrate my 55th bay thee this August.

Great place but when we recommend
Great place but when we recommend it we will make sure that they know of the limited menu. More a wine and appetizer lounge than a restaurant.
We were not aware of that, but we had a great time.

Extensive wine list. Knowledgeable
Extensive wine list. Knowledgeable server who was well equipped to make suggestions. Small plates were plentiful and tasty. Ambiance was very very nice. Great place for couples or larger groups.

Waitstaff was very helpful
Waitstaff was very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious and was happy to see Vegetarian options on the menu.

Notable wine list
While the ambiance is a not as cozy as I would hope, the wine list and food are well worth the trip. Our biggest issue was finding parking. The fig and apple flat bread was wonderful.

Great little place with limited but excellent selections. Portions are particularly nicely sized - just right. Prices reasonable.

Fab Wine Tasting!
We really enjoy the ambiance at Nosh Wine Lounge but had wanted to try dinner. We happily stumbled upon a fabulous wine tasting taking place and found a new favorite! We were able to try 8 new wines, learn about them, enjoy appetizers and then purchase extremely reasonably priced wines all for $10. We'll be back to do this again. And the dinner was delicious. I had the Chicken Arriabiata - perfectly smoky chicken on creamy polenta with spicy veggies and my husband enjoyed the pork belly fettucine.

Great food for decent price
We ate here right before they were having a private event. So they were setting up their tables and had a few available seating. Unfortunately, we were seated right under a fan so it was chilly. However, the rest of the restaurant was clean. The ambiance feels just like a wine lounge. Our server Blair was very attentive and suggested a very good sweet white wine. We had the fries, margherita flatbread and steak sliders, too. Meal was accompanied with soup or salad; we both chose the tortilla soup. Food tasted great! Will come back for more flatbread! I highly recommend!

This was the 1st time us a party of five has been to Nosh. We all loved our waiter, I believe his name was Dave. He was awesome and we all look forward to returning to Nosh in an even bigger group. The food was wonderful as well

Creative menu & fairly priced wines
We loved our weeknight dinner at Nosh Wine Lounge. The service was superb - truly what a great restaurant should always provide. The food was delicious and unique. I was convinced by my friend to try strawberry and avocado salsa with cinnamon and sugar coated chips. What a wonderful, fresh and tasty dip! My salad with apricots was perfectly fresh and lightly dressed in the most delicious vinaigrette. The duck quesadillas were highly recommended by the waitress and I look forward to eating them again. We also enjoyed the Italian rice balls which were creamy and light with a crunchy coating.Truly a neighborhood gem for locals and business travelers (like me). Thank you, Open Table, for finding Nosh Wine for us.

We love the ambience since it is so different from many other restaurants. It is great place to eat with a group of friends. We are looking forward to stopping by after an Omaha event to have a drink and a light bite. It could use one or two lighter fares to chose from on the menu. Our server was very attentive. I plan to take a group of girlfriends for a girls night out.

Nosh is truly a gem. We tried
Nosh is truly a gem. We tried it for a late lunch with a Living Social coupon. It was a great experience. The food selection was varied and offered combinations which allowed us to try several things. This enabled us to sample soups, salads and flat bread instead of just one item. When we return we will have a familiarity with the menu that you normally need three or four visits to accomplish. The wine list was extraordinary and they offered Pepsi which is a rarity in Omaha restaurants. The ambiance was very pleasant and during the off lunch hour could be romantic. The service could not have been better. Our server was helpful in explaining the items on the menu, offering wine suggestions and was all around happy and attentive. Luv Nosh

Lunch Spot / Late Night Chill Spot
Awesome food (if you're not looking for a gut-buster meal) and wonderful vibe/ambience.

Exactly what we were looking for...
The wine, cocktail selection, light snacks and ambiance was exactly what we were looking for. The cheese plate, mussels, watermelon salad and flatbread were perfect. Will be going back soon.

Great spot - I am recommending
Meeting some friends here was a great start to a nice evening. The location has a lot of charm in a growing and increasingly vibrant part of downtown Omaha. The menu was small but perfectly fitting - this is a great place to order a variety of appetizers a bottle of wine, and share with friends. Our server was great, very knowledgable and most importantly, practical and pretty down-to-earth. He made fabulous recommendations while not putting on a show. He was very personable, but clearly had another gear that was sommelilier-esque. We appreciated his subtle, yet respectful special attention to the women at the table.

Great noshing spot!
Thus the name. Small portions but delicious. A few full meals if I'm remembering. We went early before Omaha Fashion Week but not many people at the bar or restaurant. The food is great. Give it a try if you don't mind if you and just a few other diners are there.

Noshing in Omaha
There are few items on the food menu, and the wait was rather lengthy for our chicken and steak dishes. Both were tasty and nicely presented, but both fairly basic. The chicken leg and onion soup appetizer were too salty as well. Then again, this is a wine bar!
It was a Saturday night, but there weren't many people there, although the location is excellent for foot traffic from the Holland Center, the Marriott, the Quest, and all the condos and apartments in the area. The ambience is contemporary cool.
Alas, Nosh is a good place to drink and schmooze with friends, but not the best for serious noshing.

The food was fantastic (get the Nosh Board), and my wife really enjoyed the deluxe martinis! I would definitely dine at this restaurant again.

This was a very enjoyable restaurant!!! The drink and wine menu was amazing to choose from and EVERYTHING we tried (we were a group of 7) was amazing!!

Nice Spot To Chill
Just wanted a place to enjoy a glass of wine and to have a conversation without shouting. This place fit the bill.
10/31/2013 12:00:00 AM
WIsh we would have found sooner
Great place to get a bite to eat and a great glass of wine or cocktail before the concert at Century Link. Wine selections were abundant and the food was delicious. Service was spot-on..there when you needed them but they didn't hover. We will definitely be back.

husband and I! Thanks!

Absolutely nothing to dislike here... Great service, surprisingly varied menu and decor was very relaxing. Only potential shortfall would be that the tables are a bit close together . I am trying to find something negative and that is all I can think of.

My wife and I had recently relocated to Omaha. We didn't want to cook on Thanksgiving so we made a reservation at Nosh. There was a slight mistake in the reservation which was addressed by Lila (the owner) via email. She could not have been more courteous and generous.
The restaurant was cozy and welcoming. As it was Thanksgiving at 5 pm, there were several patrons already seated to our surprise. Our server was friendly and provided a good explanation of the menu and the specials. It turned out that she was Lila, the owner. She was working so staff could have the holiday off.
After about 1/2 hour, the restaurant filled with people. But Lila was gracious and attentive to all.
We cannot wait to dine here again.
11/27/2013 4:00:00 PM
Every time I am here I am impressed! Love this place - not one item on the menu is anywhere close to marginal.

Food is great! The presentation
Food is great! The presentation is classy for a wine bar. Nice selections of small plates and dinner specials. Hats off to the chef. Love the warm cozy atmosphere. Our new favorite place in the old market. Love the fact that you can make a reservation not always the case in this area of the city.
