They have green smoothies made with spinach, pineapple and mango that are heavenly. The stuffed French toast and the burgers are awesome.

Terrific neighborhood restaurant.
Terrific neighborhood restaurant. Comfortable seating. Amazing fired chicken, delicious Cobb salad! Not quiet, but the noise level was manageable. HIghly recommended!

Great "Down Home" Cooking!
Great down home cooking!Fried chicken is amazing and also the Cod and Chips! Very cool atmosphere not your typical NYC restaurant. Service is always great and wines are very reasonable.

A Healthful Diner with Disney Vibe
Like stepping into Disneyworld right there on the Upper West Side. White picket fence surrounds sidewalk tables at 93rd and Columbus. The lingering winter winds forced us inside to a too-bright dining room scattered with neighborhood diners, mostly en couple. The menu appeals to me because its simple, fresh and mostly-organic. But it is not adventurous or innovative or even 'special.' The food was very appealing to me when served: fresh, clean and yummy. But this is not a place to impress your friends. Its seems to be a reliable joint for locals with an odd ambiance that feels distinctly themed like Disneyworld. For a post-performance dinner after Symphony Space, its one of the better choices within a 4-block radius.

Such a cute place. Foods we ordered were good, nothing too amazing but they were fresh and had a very true home-made feel. If it wasn't so far away I would love to be a regular, but I live in Hoboken and it is quite a trip for me. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience.

Delicious food, generous portion sizes, good service. Love this brunch hotspot in my neighborhood!

A lovely neighborhood place.
A lovely neighborhood place. Easy going; food is pleasantly unpretentious. Ambience is very pleasant. If you want a spectacular dining experience, this isn't quite it. But if you want really lovely atmosphere, well-prepared, straightforward food, and particularly if it's within walking distance, this is a perfect place.

Just a lovely neighborhood
Just a lovely neighborhood place. Only concerns are that some tables are a bit close to each other and it would be helpful to vary some items on the menu. If you dine there often, the menu can be very repetitive. However, the price and atmosphere is just right for a casual neighborhood meal.

What a wonderful addition
What a wonderful addition to the restaurants on the UWS. How did they find the great organic wines? The staff is friendly and efficient.

The turkey meatloaf was the best I've had. The lunch menu is burger focused and the food is good. Look forward to trying other dishes.

Once again - Great Food Bad Service
Elizabeth's has now received a Michelin Star rating - no small feet for a restaurant these days, however I wish Michelin would calculate that rating based on service as well. If they did they'd rescind their star rating based on service alone.
Since Elizabeth's has opened, they have been plagued by poor food service. I'm not sure of it's a matter of who they hire or that the staff never receives proper training in restaurant customer service.
EVERY TIME we have eaten there, service is exceptionally incompetent. They consistently have to be asked or reminded of drink orders. I don't appreciate being handed my wine halfway through my appetizer when it was the first thing I ordered.
Elizabeth's seriously needs a visit from Uncle Jack.

I live the service and the food. Location is great.

Wonderful Dinner --- Great Evening
I have lived on the Upper West Side since January and have wanted to stop into Elizabeth's and have not gotten the chance until this weekend. Luckily I made a reservation because it was packed and with good reason. The food was great. The fish and burgers were excellent. The veggies were fresh and yummy. The staff was knowledgable and attentive. We started with wine and drinks and finished with excellent desserts (four of us ordered three dessert and they were all great) Looking forward to trying brunch and returning for dinner.

Rustic feel in an urban setting
The white picket fence and the swing on the porch make Elizabeth's feel like a country retreat. We had dinner outside on a Friday night and it was lovely (despite the unsmiling, not-very-welcoming hostess). We were seated right away, and the bread and water came promptly. Our kids enjoyed the mac and cheese, the pan-fried chicken (with fantastic vegetables!), and the grilled hotdogs. The apples were a welcome side dish. A few nits: the crispy fried chicken was overly crispy and hard (the batter was almost like an exoskeleton, and the meat was a bit dried out) and the turkey meatloaf was on the bland side. But portions were generous, and we left happy.

Nice Bar Dining Service
I had brunch here with a friend this past weekend and sat at a high top bar table. The bar tender who served us was super friendly which made the experience more enjoyable and better than average.

Set in what looks like a country inn - on the Upper West Side, this place is charing.the food is great and the service lovely. I had the best Cobb salad I ever had and a wonderful fruit salad.

A Healhty Neighborhood Gem
Elizabeth's Neighborhood Table is charming with a white picket fence surrounding the entire restaurant and front porch. The delicious, organic fare is inventive. We decided to eat the bar and our bartender was very attentive and helpful in making our wine and food selections.
Definitely a do-over!

Food consistently superb,
Food consistently superb, service consistently terrible. This last time the restaurant was somewhat busy but certainly not full-a long long time to get service of any kind.

Small-town hospitality & fresh food
They pride themselves in locally grown food, and they have every right to brag! I could actually taste the true flavor and freshness in everything we ate. In fact, I could have eaten just the flame grilled seasonal side of vegetables for my meal and been completely satisfied.
To add, Elizabeth herself was walking around, providing refills of water, and the utmost genuine and true small-town hospitality. It felt like you were a guest at her house. Personalized service is so hard to find in NYC, and this place takes the cake. She might even disclose a cooking secret or two. I will DEFINITELY be back soon.

The food and service were excellent and the quiet added to the experience

I love going there because
I love going there because the people are very friendly & we don't have any family but delicious restaurants in our neighborhood. The Cobb salad is the best I've had outside the Beverly Hills Hotel...very fresh & the chicken is warm & juicy. I also loved the turkey meatloaf. My only issue is the desserts aren't as perfect as I'd like. The chocolate cup was not as good as it was touted and the blueberry coffee cake was good tasting but a little dry. The blondie was more of a brownie...Would I go again, absolutely...Brunch is excellent & I love the small smoothie you get when you first sit down. Love the pancakes and the blt sandwich is almost perfect.

Great Brunch at Elizabeth's
We went to Elizabeth's for Sunday brunch and it was great. We made the reservation for 4 but 2 extra people came and the staff was very gracious , they put together another table for the 6 of us with no problem. They service was flawless.
The food was outstanding, we had the eggs benedict, omelette and some had oatmeal, everyone totally enjoyed there meal.
The atmosphere is wonderful, its like you are sitting on a porch in the country.
I would highly recommend Elizabeth's.

Natural, tasty , weak service...
I've been here 3 times and still the service is not great. The food is fresh and traditional but the orders are never right and have to go back to the kitchen. I hope this feedback helps as I think this place has great potential.

This is my 3rd time at Elizabeth's and its been consistently good. This time I had the egg, bacon and cheese croissant - lovely.

Charming ambiance, quality food
A white picket fence-lined restaurant in New York City is hard to find, and Elizabeth's lives up to its charming exterior. The indoor and outdoor dining make you feel like you're not in the bustling city, but rather in a quaint suburban family restaurant. The servers--including Elizabeth herself--were very friendly and helpful. Good food. Spectacular sangria. The most noteworthy thing about the food is the quality of ingredients, coming straight from farms, so you get local, naturally-raised meats and vegetables.

Country Feel on Upper West Side
Elizabeth's Neighborhood Table is an oasis of comfort food in a funny spot--on the edge of the Upper West side. The food was delicious and the service earnest, though the kitchen is quite slow. We had a very smooth glass of red wine, the California Pinot Noir, which is, like the food, organic and from sustainable sources.
We will recommend and return. The owner came by to talk with us about our experience--they seem committed to providing an excellent dining experience. Skip the peach cobbler.

The nite was a success celebrating the dual anniversaries of both couples. It was a great decision to celebrate here......the food, staff and outside dining were wonderful...in the past we have dined outside in the rain and were protected by your overhead canopy.....not a first time here and it will not be our last.....thank you for helping us celebrate this occasion...and the outdoor swing was a perfect place to take pictures ...thank you, Elias, for your attention and graciousness.....enjoyed meeting you and we'll see you soon.......

Brunch at Elizabeth's
I was early and the hostess was still able to seat me right away and accommodate my request to sit outside. The outdoor area is really nice. The waitress was very sweet and friendly. The food was simple but good. The portions were big. I love Bloody Mary's and this was the only part of the meal that was not good; pretty watery, not that flavorful.

Great food and service
Was there for brunch with a large party and we got our food (which was delicious) quickly. Because it was a nice day, a lot of people were sitting outside and it wasn't too crowded (or noisy) inside. Will definitely be back.

What a wonderful place to Brunch!
I live in mid-town where having a nice neighborhood meal is impossible with all the tourists. I happened accross Elizabeth's while I was working on a photography project and was charmed by the look of it. When I got home I looked it up and decided to have brunch there with a friend. Everything was delicious! The wait staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!!

This was my second time here and the first time we had horrible service but this time the service was fine, bordering on very good. The food was great and it's nice to be able to eat outside and feel safe and cozy inside their white picket fence.

reunion with friends from CA
Lovely setting with outdoor terrace, nicely separated from the street to create privacy. Wait-staff were friendly, helpful, available but not hovering. We ordered a variety of dinner dishes - salmon with quinoa; crab cakes; turkey burger and each was delicious. All was fresh and wholesome and portions were sizable. Our first visit and we all agreed (including the CA friend) that we would definitely return.

Love Brunch Outside
I was brought there the first time because of organic food but the brunch outdoors stole my heart... Service couldn't be better.

Nice neighborhood restaurant
Living on the upper West Side, above the 80s, there are not a lot of neighborhood restaurants which are not too noisy and too crowded. Elizabeth's has a nice laid back atmosphere, the tables areadequately separated and you don't feel you are eating in a train station.

Delicious, healthier comfort food
I went with a large group and we had a great time. Our 2 servers were excellent (Andre, maybe, and a girl with braids). Great wines, a lot of well-sourced food.
10/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
I hosted a party of 6, celebrating 2 of my friends' birthdays. The food, drinks and service were all delicious, and the space is warm and cozy. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

It looks like a place you'd find in Nantucket. Inside the atmosphere is calm and pleasant, the service is friendly and the food is plentiful and good.

Elizabeth's Great Staff
We dined here after the NYC Marathon. Our runner was delayed and Elizabeth's was so nice to let us linger ---great server and the food was delicious. Loved the Mussels!

I was looking for something different near the Museum of Natural History and searched for farm to table. When the website for Elizabeth's Neighborhood Table came up and showed the outside of the restaurant I thought the picture was not real. When we arrived - happy to see what looked like a house that was anywhere but the upper west side we were excited. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was great.

A Memorable Experience
We visited with two pre-teen children and a 94-year-old for dinner. The food was fabulous, and the owner was very helpful in suggesting sites for our Thanksgiving vacation. Most of all, her thoughtfulness in sending a dessert cup to the 94-year-old (in anticipation of his 95th birthday several months away,) was a very touching end to a wonderful evening. Make this a stop on your vacation (or day-to-day) itinerary.
