A great place
A great place to go if you want to enjoy amazing food and your company (ie: you can hear them!). The service was excellent and I will be going back often!

We've been going for quite
We've been going for quite some time, and the food and the service is consistent and fantastic, which isn't always the case in many of the establishments in the neighborhood. There is not one bad thing on the menu. I love that it's never too loud, never too crowded and not packed in with tables.

Must try in Williamsburg
Went to this restaurant for lunch after reading Williamsburg reviews. We were not disappointed! Fixed price three course lunch menu was great. Not only gourmet in every respect but affordable and included a glass of house wine. Met Morrisimo, one of the owners and you could tell how passionate he and his wife (the chef) are about their food and their customers. Try this one out!

I had an amazing time at Miranda
I had an amazing time at Miranda Restaurant. Brunch was amazing. My boyfriend, who wa celebrating his birthday, was so impressed. He said the food was authentic and brought him back to his Hispanic heritage. The food was exquiste, ambiance was superb and the service was very friendly. It was a beautiful experience and I can't wait to dine there again. I strongly recommend Miranda!

Great food, small portions
Had the wild mushroom ravioli. They were delicious. I couldn't get enough, and, in fact, the meal was not as large as I expected. Portions were European size. I would have ordered an appetizer if I had known. I had a ricotta cheesecake for dessert, which wasn't that exciting.

Decided to try for dinner
Decided to try for dinner one Sunday and was very happy I did.
Food was great. Not a huge menu, but all of the food that came to our table was very good.
Small place but they manage to arrange tables so that you do not feel cramped.
Not a long walk from the L line.
Staff could not be nicer and helpful - no attitude.
Enjoy! We did.

I love this place
One of the best meals in recent history. Asparagus soup with mussles was amazing. Gnocchi with cauliflower and pancetta was seriously the best gnocchi I've ever had. Rounded off with one of Mauricio's delicious cocktails. Highly recommended!

Really a good restaurant.
Really a good restaurant. We made a special trip from Manhattan and were not disappointed. It's not fancy inside, but the service was really professional, the wine list extensive (though Italo-centric) and the menu small but quite good. THis is a keeper, and we would go again.

It was quiet when we arrived around 7:15 which was a bit of a turn off but it got busy later. The food was outstanding. The ambiance could have been more cozy or romantic in relation to the menu.

Service is superb!
Everything about Miranda Restaurant was fantastic. The staff was knowledgeable about the dishes and wine selection and went out of their way to make sure our dining experience was fabulous. I would highly recommend Miranda Restaurant!

My son and I had a delicious dinner at Miranda. The octopus salad was a special treat as was the tableside visit from the chef and owner. Thanks for a great evening.

Warm and friendly atmosphere
The staff was great! We asked to meet the chef, Miranda, and she came to our table. Later on, she sent, Rebecca, assistant chef, to meet us because she is like us, from Puerto Rico!
The brunch menu was delicious as so was the Sea Bass!
Definitely, would return and recommended. Very charming!

Grown-up spot indeed!
I am going to agree with some other reviewers who said this place is a grown-up spot in an area of bars and grills blasting music. The food was certainly a step up from the surrounding area, unique and very well prepared. There were few choices for dishes on the lunch menu but the variety of appetizers, wine, cheeses, desserts more than made up for it. Parking was easy to find despite the luxury buildings popping up around. Great service from the staff. The decor was quaint, not cluttered and felt like a trip to Latin America ;-) Definitely a spot for a date.

A wonderful blend
Multiple friends have recommended this place. We went for brunch with a child on the early side and it was wonderful. The food was creative - as I imagined with it being a Latin-Italian fusion - and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The ambience was great, the wood tables but open air to the nice day outside. Definitely a hit and we'll be back for dinner!

Wine- Superb!Bread and oil- Delish!Apps-We got the butternut squash soup and octopus and arugula salad-I LOVED the soup and the octopus was tasty as well just not a big squid person. You can taste all the flavors of the ingredients though. It just tastes so fresh. We also ordered the mushroom truffle pasta-- Mushroom raviolis basically.Favorite dish of the night. Not a heavy cream but just the right about of cheese. PERFECTION. The duck was great as well served medium rare- cooked just right. For dessert we split tres leche.. So moist and delicious.Needless to say there wasn't a crumb left to be found! We had a $48 Bottle of wine.forget the name but a little malbecy with a spice-- so good we finished the bottle and ordered another glass!

Second time's a charm
Took my Jersey cousin to Miranda and we were certainly not disappointed. From our welcome and the offer af any table we wanted since we were early diners to the "thank yous" from the entire wait staff as we left, our dinner at Miranda was marvelous! The grilled octopus appetizer was tender and beautifully presented. We shared the truffled ravioli -- so delicious-- and the Branzini on a bed of quinoa. Both really wonderful. Will definitely be back!

Starting at the end. The question
Starting at the end. The question always is 'Would you come back?'. With BKs burgeoning crop of restaurants the question becoms all the more the test. Miranda has a very comfortable feel and a staff that tries, but the pacing of the meal was so painfully slow that a few of my party got up to take a walk. The food was great and the restaurant deserves the four stars I gave it, but in the end the meal was served so painfully slowly that we were all getting antsy before the entrées hit the table.
It may well be that we just caught them on an off night. Give them a try, the food is worth it. If your experience mirrors ours in bis a shame that a chef so talented allows her food to be overshadowed by the timing with which it is served.

not as "trendy" as some places but the food is really delicious and personally i prefer to be away from the 'scene,' can actually hear the people talk that you are dining with and enjoy a nice meal
The service is a bit too formal for my taste, and for the neighborhood (IMO) i prefer to not have my water glass refilled over and over or esp i prefer NOT to have my table wiped between courses that sort of thing..

A great, fun restaurant
After visiting Miranda 3 times, I must say, it was our pleasure to enjoy the food and great service. A nice fusion of Italian and Latin cuisines. Good selection of wines and yummy deserts.

Trip to Williamsburg!
Wanted to dine outside of our usual area and selected Miranda based on previous reviews. Our group of 4 were thrilled with the choice. friendly, knowledgeable staff; range of choices; the best butternut squash soup - ever; delicious seasoning to all dishes, prepared with great care. While our group was a 'bit' older than the majority of the other diners, we did not feel uncomfortable and the sound level was quite tolerable. A must for all

Worth a Trip from Manhattan
We ate here for the first time, and will definitely return. The room was cozy and inviting, and we could hear ourselves speak. The service was attentive, but not rushed. The food was delicious. We had the squash soup, which was creamy but made without dairy, and nicely spiced, grilled octopus, a special salad available that day and arancini, an arborio rice and chorizo dish that was fabulous. Main courses were equally good. The pappardelle was spicy and rich, the branzino delicately flavored and the grilled skirt steak (churrasco) perfectly cooked. It was worth traveling from Manhattan to dine at Miranda.

My wife and I stayed in Williamsburg and we did end up going to a couple of upscale restaurants over in Manhattan and Miranda was BY FAR the best we went to in New York. The Latin/Italian cuisine reminded me of a great blended wine--bringing out the high notes of each country's cuisine. The service was sincerely cheerful, perfectly attentive, never intrusive. After each course a server would effortlessly whisk the crumbs away. The brick walls, the tastefully muted but distinct lighting, the beautiful windows, and the glowing bar/kitchen to the back made for a romantic ambience. Our food was fresh, creative, delicious, and was handsomely presented on the plate. The music, the wines, perfect. I highly recommend this gem, especially for lovers.

An Unexpected Surprise
Usually going to restaurants in Manhattan, we decided to go to Williamsburg to see what all the hype was about. Having read excellent reviews about Miranda, we decided to give it a try and we weren't disappointed! Not only was the food prepared to perfection, but the selections were innovative and tasty. What was most inviting was the fastidious of the staff- from the person who greeted us at the door to the busboy, who were attentive to our every need. The restaurant was very busy, but the routines in place were carried out at every table, such as cleaning the table after each course. So much of that is lost in restaurants today.
Miranda's is truly a gem that I would highly recommend.

Have been to Miranda a number
Have been to Miranda a number of times, but twice in the last three nights. Menu is short but creative. Six great pastas of which my favorite is the Pappardelle with lamb shank in a little spicy mole sauce. Branzino is great as is the duck. Good wine list and always consistent. Miranda is a terrific chef.
