Good food and charming place
My friends and I enjoyed a few items from across the menu. Everything was pretty tasty. The restaurant was cute, and the outdoor dining area seemed perfect on a Friday afternoon!

Food was amazing - we had the dolmas, lamb, manti, goat cheese dessert and drinks. Everything was so flavorful! The server made great recommendations and was really friendly.

We had a great time
It was a celebration. We shared an app platter and drinks.
After awhile we ordered entrees. We got one each of the specials, lamb shank and whole sea bass. Plus a couple of "Alexander's Favorite" (Iskander).
So there were 7 of us and the bill was $250 with tip.

Delicious and Authentic!
Very good spot to try for lunch if you're in the area or for an informal dinner.

Excellent Turkish Food in Palo Alto
I visited Anatolian Kitchen when they first opened a few years ago. And now that I moved to the area, I am happy that I will be enjoying more of their great food.
Don't miss the Ayran. They definitely make it very well compared to other Turkish restaurants.

We've been away for several months and came home in time to celebrate a 5 year old's birthday!
As always, the food and service were great.
Happy to be home!

Very good food (except the sides)
all the food is very good and tasteful, Babaganoush, Hummus and all the meets are very good. Cons, entree sides are very bad, around my table, I didn't see anybody eating them. A lot of waste food.

Great Kebabs etc
Husband got an excellent, small but tasty stuffed grilled seabas. I had the chicken kebabs. Both were great. Easy to substitute sides. Friend needs gluten free & the server was excellent in helping out. She even came back once with comment from chef. The other couple had Moussaka & Donner plate which they loved also.

Very nice neighborhood restaurant
We felt like Mediterranean food somewhere around Stanford. We chose Anatolian Kitchen, and were rewarded with a very nice dinner. It's a great neighborhood restaurant, not really fancy but good food In a friendly atmosphere.

Great Turkish Food
The place isn't that big, but they were able to accommodate our group of 7. We also saw a group of 6 sitting next to us. This was a weekday night, so it might not be as easy on weekends. The food was great. It's the only place I've found that serves Iskander (Alexander) kebab. They also have Turkish tea, Turkish coffee, Turkish beer (Efes), and a wide variety of kebabs, and even some vegetarian dishes.
Everything was delicious and the service was great. I'll definitely go back if I'm in Palo Alto looking for a place to eat.

Very happy with good and hospitality. In particular the host/owner was very gracious and accommodating. It's those personal touches and flexibility that made out experience shine. Good was great too and we all enjoyed our dishes.

Always a very good meal
We have eaten at Anatolian Kitchen several times and have enjoyed its authentic Turkish fare every time. The ambiance, the wait staff and the food are genuine ~ eating there is like being transported to Turkey.

Love Turkish food!
We have visited Turkey twice and love the food there, so we gravitate to Turkish food when we can. This restaurant is lively and fun and the staff manages to stay move diners in and out without appearing frustrated or rushed or making people feel that they have to eat and dash. Food is well-prepared, tasty, and served quickly.

These guys do Turkish food the right way. I have been here many times but only tried their mousakka this time. It was phenomenal and is highly recommended.

This is a nice Mediterranean restaurant. The day we went had excellent service. Great parking, much better than University Ave in PA. The lamb saute was OK but would recommend the grill instead, but depends on what you like.
