Delicious and memorable
A seat in the garden brings wonderful atmosphere to accompany the expertly prepared food. The evening of our visit we sampled the "catch of the day" tartare, the lamb and a burger (my husband was quite pleased with this option). The drinks were delicious, and there was a general sense of finesse and sincere passion about the food and service at the Brasserie. Wouldn't hesitate to return again when in GC.

This place is amazing
I spent 7 days on Grand Cayman a couple months ago and ate out at a different restaurant every meal of each day, all of the usual hot spots and local favorites, and I can say that hands down this place was THE BEST. It is an absolute necessity that you try this if you're in town.

Great dining in Georgetown, KI
Everything was exceptional. We loved the special touch of the chef's complimentary appetizer. Drinks to dessert, no complaints. A very enjoyable evening .....

Food was excellent; on a par
Food was excellent; on a par with some of the best on the island. The service was also very good. It was a bit noisy due to the bar crowd ( we went there on a Friday, so the happy hour crowd was there). Would recommend it

This was our second visit to The Brasserie and we certainly will return the next time we visit Cayman. We enjoy doing the chef's tasting and pairing the wines. Always excellent!

Brasserie is a *must*......
.....top of the list for any foodie visiting Cayman. Yes, it is indoors, but the mahogany decor reminds you of an island plantation. The real star is the cuisine, all lovingly prepared with mostly coming mostly from the garden right outdoors! Best to walk through the garden before dinner, then savor the ripe tomatoes & hot peppers in the salsa and always-on-the-table house-made hot sauce. Only the freshest fish, vegetables, and fruits comprise the menu. Some may be new to your palate, but go for it! You will never leave the Brasserie disappointed with anything.
Hope that they continue to thrive and will be around for a long time. Bravo!

Do the Chef Tasting Menu
My husband and I went here for his birthday this week and had an absolute fabulous time. We decided to do the Chef's Tasting Menu and were totally shocked by how much fun and how wonderful it was. It's always a bit nerve wracking putting it in someone else's hands but Chef Joe created a wonderful menu for us. We truly had a blast. Not only will we be returning but I think we will do the tasting menu again. In fact we probably will do tasting menus at restaurants that have it available. I would definitely recommend you visiting here and doing the tasting menu, put your adventure cap on.

We had a great experience! Our server was very attentive without being annoying. The food was very fresh and cooked to perfection. While its a very nice and more romantic restaurant, we did have our 7 year old with us and he was welcomed & they even had a kids menu. We come to Grand Cayman every year & this is our new favorite.

Best food we had.
We stayed at the Ritz and this was the best food we had on our vacation. Highly recommend it. It is a little tricky to find. We drove around a bit before we found it. Don't give up! We will visit this restaurant again and again on our next trip. You need a reservation.

One of the best dining experiences.
With its non-touristy island feel, locally sourced food, and excellent chef, this restaurant delivered on all levels for us. We enjoyed seeing the kitchen garden and being treated to a behind the scenes tour of the kitchen in action with Chef Joe. Seeing the fresh produce (fish from their own boats, veggies from their own garden etc...) first hand, and the brigade in action, reaffirmed that the dining experience was no fluke. We enjoyed the 5-course Chef's menu - each dish made at the discretion of the Chef (you eat blind) - and had the sommelier's wine pairing - collectively ~$100CI per person - and it was worth the price. I highly recommend the Brasserie.

Everything was organic as they even have their own 'garden'.

Fabulous meal in Grand Cayman!!
This was easily our best meal in Cayman, hands down. The food was not only beautifully presented but was delicious. My husband and I chose the Monday couples special, which included appetizer, entree, dessert, and a bottle of wine. We both had the snapper, caught fresh on one of The Brasserie's two fishing boats. Great deal. Our daughter, 10, ordered the pork loin which was delicious and perfectly cooked. Waitstaff were knowledgeable and attentive. On the table are pickles, peppers and other vegetables that are marinated and pickled. Be sure to try them, as they ( as most of the veggies do) come from their garden in the back. Enjoy!

outstanding service. Ryan, Cory, Claudia are truly some of the best Service Providers I have ever had. Food outstanding and freshly grown--mostly in their own garden, great beer and wine choices. a beautiful building with great ambience. We went twice in a week and both times were outstanding. Caution --they close for August holiday.

Best meal in the caymans! We did the 5 course tasting menu for our wedding anniversary and everything was perfectly prepared. We loved how they highlight the local ingredients.

Don't miss this out-of-the-way gem!
My husband and I happened to visit on a night when the passionate and gifted Chef/Owner Dean Max was in the house and what a treat! He set the stage for an exciting evening of the freshest, tastiest, local delicacies that could be found on the island. We had grouper and snapper that were caught in the their own fishing boats that morning, served with sauces and accompaniments that were creative and delicious. We ended the meal with a grilled pineapple napoleon with house-made coconut ice cream - beyond yummy. Then Chef Dean gave us a personal tour of the gardens, showing us all the exotic varieties of edible plants they grow to support the restaurant. We ended the magical evening by buying his cookbook, A Life By The Sea. Truly memorable.

25th Anniversary Dinner
We were in the Caymans to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and couldn't have picked a better place to have dinner. We were welcomed by a very friendly hostess and staff. The food, attention from our server and atmosphere we perfect. To top it all off we were given a tour of the garden by the manager. What a wonderful night we had. We will certainly make it a point to visit the Brasserie the next time we are in the Caymans.

Wonderful night out
We ate from the small plates menu to allow for a sharing experience. finding both the conch ceviche and the charcuterie board interesting and delicious. The soup was also excellent. We enjoyed the corner couch tables to allow seating together. We wil lbe back.
