Perfect spot before the theater.
Perfect spot before the theater. With the parking lot next door and the theater a quarter block away it is an ideal spot for dinner before the theater. The staff was friendly, the food was better than good and the decor was attractively eclectic. My only complaint was that some of the dishes were taken away too soon. This is my new spot to eat before the theater.

Everything we had was fantastic!
Everything we had was fantastic! I can not say enough great things-fresh herbs in everything-salads, soup, shrimp risotto was outstanding. We topped it off with the money bread with banana ice cream-it was huge and worth every bite at the gym the next day. The wine bottles were 1/2 off on Weds and live jazz music. We could not have had a better evening. Service was also great-Jason was very attentive. I appreciated the phone call the next day asking how everything was-I have never had that happen before!!! I have had catering events were I spent $$$$ at restaurants and have not gotten a phone call afterwards. This restaurant sets the bar high.

Excellent food and service
Excellent food and service in a cool space. We loved it.

I was skeptical after reading
I was skeptical after reading the Open Table reviews, but still wanted to try someplace new and convenient to the Pantages. We were more than pleasantly surprised! We split a burrata salad that was yummy, and my seafood pasta was delicious--would definitely order it again. My friend enjoyed the salmon special. The creme brulee was decent. The service was helpful and efficient, and our food was hot. We left our car with the valet for the play ($6.50? $7?) and the wait wasn't too long to get it at the end of the evening. Would definitely come back again!

Food and service were very good. Buratta and pear salad was excellent. Pork chop and baked potato were noting special. Drinks too pricey.

The food and the atmosphere
The food and the atmosphere were both great. The decor is funky, cute & chic. The food was well prepared, seasoned well and portioned appropriately for two or even three to share. The Monkey Bread was FANTASTIC! Its been three days and I am still talking about it and craving it again. Well done Lexington Social House! Everyone will enjoy this place.

I really enjoy every visit
I really enjoy every visit to Lexington Social House - The cocktail menu screams 'mixology' and the staff is friendly and accommodating! Their menu is more suited for the carnivorous types with American cravings, but go here for their monkey bread and anything else on their dessert menu! It was quiet and fairly empty for a Tuesday night, so don't expect this to be a hustllin' bustlin' Hollywood go-to place!

The food was great. There
The food was great. There were only a few other tables that were seated so our server was fast, friendly, and our food came out right on time. There was also a live jazz band, and they're there every Wednesday!

This was our first time at Lexington. It came highly recommended by a friend. We enjoyed the ambience and decor, the service was attentive and friendly and they kept us on course to make our show at the Pantages (without feeling rushed). All the food choices were tasty, especially the diver scallops! I would definitely eat there again, whether or not I was seeing a show. I hear Wednesday nights there is jazz and a super special pizza menu. I'd love to make there!

Patio was booked for private party. Would have enjoyed eating outside. Lots of separate spaces, all a little different. Created with the idea to eat dinner in one space, move to after dinner drinks in another, then head to club section with music all under one roof without driving. Our dinner was a little early to participate in all the fun- we had tickets to the Pantages. Food was good, cocktails refreshing. Would like to return for a later reservation to get the full experience.

Love the trendy decor. Great
Love the trendy decor. Great stop to eat dinner before going to Pantages or the Laugh Factory. Good is creative and very tasty. Interesting combinations but a lot of standard dishes too. Charcuterie board, scallops, mac & cheese, meatballs, cauliflower dishes were favorites. Great cocktails and decent wine list.

WHAT A PERFECT EVENING!
Our waiter Jason was a perfect prelude to West Side Story that evening. He was very knowledgeable, personable and vibrant. The menu was very unique; items like the Bulgar Balls, Spinach, and the Fried Gnocchi. We'll be back for sure!

Perfect spot for casual dinner
Staff is always friendly. Food is great. This is the perfect quite spot in the early evening if you want to grab dinner before seeing a show at the Pantages or ate night partying. Although be careful when it's late at night and you are waiting for your car from the valet...(which takes forever), because there are a lot of people who have had one too many and are all over the place and there are plenty of pick pockets...my friend had their wallet stolen.

outdoor patio is lounge style, not table seating good for a meal, which was disappointing to us. Open table was totally inaccurate in saying no availability at the time we requested. the place was empty.

Amazing from start to finish....
Everything at Lexington Social house was outstanding! Our server Jason was so polished and professional...drinks were well mixed, food was perfectly prepared and the atmosphere was lovely. A great evening here overall...i will return!

Quiet but good
We had reservations around 7:45 and when we arrived, there were only one other table occupied, which was as little bit strange to us. Apart from that, the food was very good, and service could obviously, with only one table, not have been better.
5/26/2013 12:00:00 AM
Not sure why this place is
Not sure why this place is so empty before a Pantages play. This was our second time here. We had been going to Cleo's, Katsuya and Delphine's before going to the theater, but recently discovered this restaurant, which is also walking distance to the Pantages. The food is very good and the service is great. Would definitely recommend it.

Not your typical Hollywood spot
When you first walk in you think it's going to be one of those pretentious restaurants... But don't let that fool you.
It was the exact opposite from my experience. Great experience overall, am definitely coming back.

The food was, surprisingly, very good. Three of us had their fried chicken which was superb - crisp, not greasy, very juicy with rapini and mustard mashed potatoes. The fourth had the lamb chops which we declared excellent and judging by the bleached bones was as he said. Our waitress was excellent not too intrusive but right there for any need. She asked if we had to make a curtain and when told we were, went out of her way to make sure we got our food in a timely manner and reminding us of the time so as not to be late. The noise level was moderate at the hour we were there (early) and most of the tables were full with theatergoers. It can get extremely loud later in the evening.

LEXINGTON SOCIALHOUSE-A find
We had a delicious dinner here. It was early, before theatre at 6:30pm so it was empty...but I'm sure that's not the
case later in the evening. A beautiful look, very elegant, the menu was both very interesting, diverse and delicious.
Go before the world learns what a perfect pre-theatre location this is for the Pantages.

Took an out of town relative
Took an out of town relative for a taste of Hollywood. Sat outside facing the Capitol Records Buildiing, was great. Service was awesome and friendly. Order three pizzas which were so so. Pass on the mushroom and goat chees pizza, it was not good. The cheese platter was delcious with honey dizzled on the plate. Loved it. We will come back again.

A find in Hollywood! YEAH!
What a wonderful surprise!!! Finding a good pre-theatre spot is often a challenge .... although we have had some good meals near the Pantages. The Lexington Social Club is now at the top of the list! Delightful patio, attentive and friendly service plus terrific food -- a great combination. Dined early and it was not too busy but the late night club is supposed to be popular --- so, I guess this place is a find for foodies and club patrons alike. Looking forward to a return visit. The prix fixe dinner was wonderful. Don't miss the heirloom tomato, mozzarella, basil, avocado starter!

We came for a relatively early
We came for a relatively early dinner on a weeknight, but after a couple of delicious drinks, we ended up staying and ordered dinner right there at the bar! The bartender, Billy Bob, guided is through the happy hour cocktails, which were fresh and innovative - not too sweet or overpowering in taste, but elegantly combined flavors - each one better than the last! We snacked on the abundant charcuterie plate, a cool and refreshing peach and burrata salad, the crab cake, and the meatballs. All the food met or exceeded expectations. We live in the neighborhood and will surely add the Lexington to our list of local favorites.

Good for Dinner
Great spot for pre Pantages Theatre dinner. Valet parking is cheaper than surrounding lots when having dinner there. We enjoyed it.

The food was very good. The only problem we had was that we have to choose either going with the regular menu or the Dinela one with a large party. This kind of forces all the people in my party to choose. Would be better if that option is open.

Great food, great service, good atmosphere and playlist. Booths good for a date, bar area is ok but has a great cocktail list that I'd like to check out. I would definitely recommend this place.

Wow! Finally, we found a place with great food for dinner before shows at the Pantages! Wonderful patio dining available, too.

Meet the chef
Service was excellent, new chef de cuisine Michael is a food genius. He makes all food fresh daily and is very gifted at pairing flavors. Both salmon and filet at LexingtonSH were two of the best we've ever had, and his homemade caramel ice cream with salt was incredible. This restaurant is a must-go in a town full of great dining options.

This place has it all...
Great food, fantastic service, romantic ambience all in a package. Be sure to try their lamb chops they are truly amazing!! I can't wait to come back. And don't forget their churros for dessert, very tasty.

It was like a private dinner!
We arrived early on a Saturday night at 6PM, prior to attending the Hollywood Bowl. We were the first and only guests at that time. It was like having a private dining experience. For appetizers, hubby had the calamari - which was lightly breaded and not rubbery at all. I had the crab cake, which was very large for an appetizer and extremely delicious. For the entree, I had the Halibut and squash. The halibut was poached perfectly and had a nice seared crispiness on the top. Hubby had the hangar steak and fries. I didn't try it but he said that it was very tasty. Mai Tais were perfectly prepared. For dessert, we had the monkey bread and the caramel ice cream - both were awesome! Service was outstanding - we will be back!

A gem in Hollywood
A truly great experience, great pantages options which was great, and quick.
Michael (the executive chef) was very pleasant and made an effort to say hello, and catered to a vegan customer. The chicken was a toasty golden brown perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth.
Mushroom risotto was creamy, and the rice was cooked perfectly. The monkey bread was a great way to end the savory essence left by your meals.
A knowledgable wait staff, friendly and attentive. A great experience all around and a must if your in Hollywood.

Off to see the Wizard
Friend and I had tickets to see the Wizard of Oz (Season tickets) . We arranged to dine at the Lexington.
Very nice place, interesting menu options and good service. 5th visit.

The food was great. The service
The food was great. The service started off great, but the food took an hour and a half to get to the table and one plate out of 6 was cold and had to be sent back. We think that the service person was trying to take care of people that needed to get to the Pantages theater for a show. We had seen the afternoon show.
Again the food was great, all of our party were happy and said they would go back to eat here again. The drinks were also great! Try the drink that come with "Pop Rocks"!
It a great place top go if you are going to see a play at the Pantages theater, its just around the corner.

the ambiance is great. The fried chicken is delicious. Service is awesome. Great crowd and good place for a date

management needs a tweak
Food and service at table were very good, as was parking. Price was all right but management did not honor a 20% discount currently being advertised via public radio membership program. Second, guest wifi is apparently denied arbitrarily.

good deal for Pantages theater goer
We went here before going to the Pantages for a show and took advantage of the Prix Fixe menu and free parking. The food was a little bit on the "gastropub" or "foodie" side. The portions were well worth the money, and we both loved the monkey bread... make sure you save room for it! Our disappointment came from the waitress. She was unaware of how to do a proper wine bottle presentation, bringing the wine to the table with the corkscrew already in the bottle and twisting it as she walked over to the table. She was trying to take our order even before I sampled the wine, didn't show the bottle until I made it obvious that I wanted to see the label and didn't even leave the cork as expected. She needs to work on her service skills.

Had an amazing pre-Pantages dinner at Lexington last Saturday. Tuna appetizer and mushroom risotto was to die for, but the true gem was the butternut squash soup (best soup I've ever had!). Cocktails were great and Jason was an excellent waiter. We will definitely be back everytime we attend the Pantages.
