It was definitley a wonderful
It was definitley a wonderful dining experience! It was our first time there and the waiter was very helpful with our menu options and his suggestions. We had our one year old daughter with us and while she was pretty good for a one year old, all of the staff was very patient and friendly. Your hostesses were very friendly and welcoming! It does take awhile to eat there. Not because the service is slow but because it is meant to be an enjoyable experience. If you are wanting a quick bite to eat, this is probably not the place. But if you are going out with a group to have a great conversation or a romantic night out, I would highly reccommend this place!

It was our 17th Anniversary and we had the most amazing time! Our waitress was very informative and always checking in to make sure everything was going well. Our private booth was quiet and romantic. The food was incredible. Best of all was the chocolate strawberries with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate on the plate! Great place for a romantic evening! Loved it!

Enjoyable Anniversary Dinner
The experience began and ended with friendly, attentive service. Options were explained clearly with a nice variety of fondue choices and styles. Food was very good, especially the cheese and desert courses. The four course dinner option was well worth it.

Perfect Anniversary Dinner
My wife and I went to the Melting Pot to celebrate our 15th anniversary. It was our first time there and we really enjoyed it. It had a very romantic atmosphere, and our server was prompt, very friendly, and down to earth. After finding out it was our anniversary, he surprised us with a special dessert plate at the end of the evening that had two chocolate covered strawberries and "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate. The cheese and dessert were delicious. The only thing we would do differently is choose a different cooking method for our main course as we didn't love the flavor of the mixture we chose.

A great evening
I took my girlfriend here to celebrate half of a year together. Very pricy, but well worth it!
The server heard we were celebrating and brought out some chocolate covered strawberries (free of charge) which blew me away. It seems it is less and less often that restaurants do nice thing such as that.
Unfourtinally we were seated near the front of the restaurant where there was a lot more foot traffic - so if you go I would ask the host for seating further in the restruant.

We were celebrating my son's college graduation. The ceremony was running longer than expected. We called and asked if we could arrive later and they were very accommodating.
The food was outstanding. Each part of the meal was really excellent. We tried two kinds of cheese fondue, two kinds of liquids to cook the beef, chicken, salmon and shrimp. All were fabulous. Then we had two kinds of chocolate fondue. The things given to dip with were strawberries, pineapple, banana, cookies, cakes. It was superb!!
The whole evening was wonderful. We will remember this special occasion for sure!

As always the food, service, and atmosphere were great!

New Melting Pot menu
Came here to try the new menu style. Overall, think we liked the old format better. The per-person billing on items such as the cheese or chocolate fondue, which you can only have 1 of per burner, just feels like a new way to stick their hand in your wallet. The food was nice, although it felt lacking over our previous visit during the Big Night Out America. The salads are certainly smaller, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Missing the wedge salad though. The main course just felt somehow lacking compared to the past, although we did like that you could customize your meal more. Overall, I'd return, just keeping an eye on the bill a bit more. Over $200 for 3 people seemed a bit steep.

Melting the night away
Fun and a great dining experience. Very romantic to help each other dip and fish for the ones that got away. Food was outstanding with fabulous dipping sauces.

First time at the Melting
First time at the Melting Pot with my 2 adult children. We all enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was great! The waitress was absolutely wonderful. She made our whole experience enjoyable. We would go again.

Everything about the experience was favorable. Went for the full four course meal (appetizer, salad, entree, dessert) . All the food was very tasty and tender. The service we had that night was one of the best I've ever had at a restaurant. I would highly recommend going to check this place out, you will not be disappointed.

My first date with my husband was at The Melting Pot, so it has a special place in our lives. For us, it's certainly a special occasion type of place due to the price tag. If you're looking for a smaller meal, I'd recommend just ordering the cheese fondue and the dessert fondue. Otherwise, come hungry!
Their wine list is longer than their actual menu. I don't know much about wine, but it seems like they offer unusual types that aren't common elsewhere.
On this particular occasion, the hostess seemed confused about our reservation and we just stood around for a few minutes while she sorted things out. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience that I'd recommend to anyone looking for a romantic dinner or for the wine enthusiast.

Couln't Be Happier
I wasn't sure how welcome my kids would be in such an establishment. They are 16, 15 and 10... The staff never bat an eye that I was bringing in younger people. I chose to bring my kids here for their first "high class" type dining experience after I had an amazing time there on Valentine's Night. The food was SUPERB! We had the 4 course experience: Cheddar Cheese Fondue, Spinach and Portobello Salad, and the Marshmallow and Oreo chocolate Fondue. For the main course, my teen daughter and I had the Vegetarian plate, while my other two opted for the Land and Sea... Everything was delicious! Our server Dan S. had a great sense of humor and the service he provided was prompt and courteous. We will be back!
6/19/2013 4:00:00 PM
We went for the first time to celebrate our anniversary and it was amazing. The whole experience, the service, the food, the drinks, the ambiance. It was so romantic with our own private table with a curtain and the extra touches such as the paper with our wedding date and everything that happend then. The chocolate covered strawberries and happy anniversary written in chocolate. It really made our night special and we will definately come back. Keep up the excellent work.

My husband and I have been fans of the Melting Pot for quite a while now. We were very happy when they decided to open a place in Tucson. The Melting Pot is such a great place to just sit and relax and enjoy each others company. You never feel rushed and that is what I love most about it. This is my go to place for special occasions for sure. My 10 year old daughter loves it too. Thank you Melting Pot for always making our visits so memorable.
6/22/2013 12:00:00 AM
This restaurant was a beautiful and intimate getaway in Tucson. The seating is designed very well that you can't hear or see other people too easily, its in a tight seating that allows you to be close to your loved one and the food was outstanding.

One Excellent Meal
Our daughter was visiting from New York and recommended the Melting Pot. We were able to book a reservation online and sat right away. Our waitress was excellent and updated us on the course of the meal. The food was excellent. It was a bit pricey for Tucson but well worth it! We had an enjoyable meal and will return again. Thanks Melting Pot!!

Another Amazing Dinner Experience
My wife and I eat at this restaurant several times a year and every time we go, it is an amazing experience. The wait staff is personable and respectful. I would and do Highly Recommend the Melting Pot of Tucson to all my friends, family and co-workers!

Wife wanted the fun of fondue for her birthday, we went with another couple. Food quality was average. Our server Ashley was great and went out of her way to ensure we had a nice time.

Dine to Romance
Great experience, Waiter was A+++. Great Food, and fun dining experience. Was not our first time, but one of our best times!

Wonderful birthday dinner!
My husband and I with another couple enjoyed a birthday dinner at The Melting Pot. We loved the food. The service was absolutely marvelous. The ambiance was romantic.
8/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
My wife enjoyed this BDay treat!
The "raw materials" (meat, shrimp) were good to excellent. Can't complain about the way it was cooked since each of us cooked our own in the pot at the table! Server Phillip was friendly and the wait staff ensured that our water glasses and drinks were always full. We had the 4-course meal and with our party size of six, we had two fondue pots for each course, allowing us to try two different fondues at each. All the food was delicious. There are two relatively minor areas for improvement: the provided roses in a vase ($13 fee) were scrawny and wilted the next day, and the "freebie" birthday coupon box of 6 chocolate-covered strawberries contained only 3 (but they were delicious!).
Overall, everyone had a great time, we'd go back.
8/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
Our visit this past weekend was spectacular. We were running a little late but they were more than happy to move our reservation back, and we were seated immediately. The menu is exquisite, the cheese fondue is to die for! The prices can get expensive but they are very good at offering packages and specials that make it more affordable. It's my fiance and I's go to date night place. Our waiter was great, refilled our drinks right away and was readily available. The manager was also out on the floor helping the wait staff, which is definitely a nice touch. I will recommend this place to everyone!

Love the melting pot
The atmosphere is great and the food is always delicious.
8/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
This was our second time at The Melting Pot. Our food was fantastic, and our waiter was one of the best I've ever had. He was very friendly and helpful. The overall ambience was subdued and really let us be by ourselves, enjoying our scrumptious meal and conversation.
8/24/2013 12:00:00 AM
First time I'd ever been there one-on-one, rather than with family - this would be the most impressive 'first date' imaginable.
9/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
My husband and I love the Melting Pot. We enjoy the cheese appetizers and the chocolate desserts. We have had the dinner in the past and were not fans of it. So this time we had two cheese pots and they were both great! The dessert of course was yummy as well :)
9/7/2013 12:00:00 AM
Delicious, and gluten free friendly
I was very surprised that rather than just leaving out the gluten-y foods such as bread, pound cake, and brownies, they actually has gluten free versions of these things. Made the fondue experience much more enjoyable. Delicious as always. Cheese and chocolate are always the favorite.
9/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great fondue spot! We had cheese fondue, main entree fondue, and chocolate fondue. So much food and everything was excellent. Wait was very attentive and fun. Owner stopped by to check on our meal. Very enjoyable evening with girlfriends.
9/25/2013 12:00:00 AM
Good dining experience
Fondue is always fun dining experience. Service was very friendly and cordial, wish it was a little bit quicker. We celebrated birthday and the birthday package was a nice touch. I thought that I had ordered only a couple complimentary balloons, but it turned out to be a little price nice touch. We had a great time. Wish we could do it more often, but is a bit steep in price to repeat to often. Overall great place and service to celebrate a special occasion. Two Thumbs up!!!
9/26/2013 12:00:00 AM
My first timers will return
I took 3 guests and at the end of the meal they all kept saying that they want to return to "The Melting Pot". It was relaxing, fun, filling with the food and provided a perfect evening for the 4 of us. Thanks I picked the right place!!!!!
9/29/2013 12:00:00 AM
A place for celebration
We found our experience to be more than expected. We have been a few times, but this time a new menu and tableware design led the way to a very special experience. We mentioned that it was a birthday celebration and it was better and better with each course. A wonderful clean place, where all were attentive to our needs. If any wait staff saw that a drink needed to be refreshed, they did it even if it wasn't their table! Bravo, we will be back, and we are not waiting for a celebration to come the next time. No excuse required this was just a really nice place to have dinner.
9/29/2013 12:00:00 AM
Decoy Wine excellent!
The Decoy by Duckhorn wine went excellently with the cheese and mushroom caps, esp. the Gorgonzola cheese. A good pairing with the meat as well, we enjoyed the filet and sirloin flavors with the wine. The amount of food was just right, and my wife thought it a very surprising and different sort of romantic meal. She was all smiles during the dinner and really enjoyed the original chocolate fondue. Though using the spoon to ladle the chocolate onto our plates of fruit and cakes worked better than the fondue fork.
10/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
I am a native Tucsonian and never been to the melting pot. I figured I should try it and see what it is all about. The service was good and very helpful trying to figure out the menu. The cheese fondue was good and tasty. The the entree oil was interesting but I am a guy that eats a lot and eating 1 bite per 2 minutes was a little slow for me, but it was tasty. However the chocolate fondue was amazing and I will totally be back just for that. It was what made the night. Yum! The manager stopped by just to check up and it was very nice to see him talk to tables. I will be back.
10/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great fun for the kids birthday's. Very friendly service
10/25/2013 12:00:00 AM
I hadn't been to the Melting Pot for a long time - years. Bought a LivingSocial deal and went with a friend. We enjoyed a wonderful three-course dinner with wine. We had the cheese, salad and entrée selections. They were all wonderful. I loved the dipping sauces. The entrée course was a mixed plate of seafood, chicken, beef and a pasta. They were all very good. It was so filling I was too full for the chocolate course! Next time, I might skip one of the other courses. The cooking at the table was fun and allowed us to go at our own pace. The service was great, very attentive. I'll be back!

Pricey/Great for Special Occassions
It was a surprise family dinner for a birthday and we had a great time. The service was rock-solid and food was fun to have a hand in making. The table wasn't oversize, even though we had 7 people, so conversation was easy. Great experience!
10/26/2013 12:00:00 AM
Nice, But Pricy
My wife and I had a nice evening with their 3-course meal + glass of wine/champagne, however we were on a Living Social offer constituting a 45% discount over the full price. While a lot of fun to eat here, it's a difficult choice at full price. Also to note, we were turned away at the door the first time when we arrived w/o reservations on a Saturday night so I do recommend arriving with reservation in hand.
11/2/2013 5:00:00 PM
I used open table for reserving a table for prom dinner, first of all no hassle with the reservation, I used this for reserving at the melting pot as well, which both times we got there early and seated as soon as we walked in the door . Aside , the melting pot had delicious food, believie it or not you get filled up on foundue and group style cooking. It has a great ambiance but though dining at 7:00pm there were a few loud groups of children throughout the restaurant. A nice touch was our server gave me a chocolate covered strawberry (Because we went on my birthday) it was a nice touch to end the evening. Though a bit pricey , it is a great intimate dining experience.
11/8/2013 4:00:00 PM
We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and wanted to dine somewhere that was quiet and cozy. We chose the perfect place! Their tables for two are tucked back into a hall way and have curtains that they close between courses which makes it very private. Perfect for a romantic dinner. I am not sure how the ambiance is for parties larger than two but it seemed quiet with low lighting. The food was good and it was fun to cook it yourself. We were there for 2 1/2 hours so if you are in a hurry this would not be an option for you. The service was excellent, we didn't have to wait between courses, it just takes time.
11/11/2013 4:00:00 PM
Fabulous for My Wife's Birthday
We live in Sierra Vista, so driving to Tucson for dinner should tell you something, it *must* be exceptional or we would not drive 200+ miles round trip just to "eat dinner." If you have not been to the Melting Pot, then I should say this - eating at the Melting Pot is not just "dinner", it is a "Dining Experience." If you have the Four Course dinner, which is what we recommend, dinner will take between 2-3 hours and your taste-buds will be pleased, especially if you take the time to enjoy some nice wine with your "experience" (which is definitely recommended).
11/24/2013 4:00:00 PM
Great if you love fondue
I love to fondue so I love coming here. My husband doesn't like to pay to cook his own meal so we don't eat here often
