Really great Persian food,
Really great Persian food, especially the appetizers like hummus and smoked grilled eggplant! Enjoyed the ambiance with live music. Our server was very new but had a great personality and was very eager to please.

Although Sufis is one of our favorite restaurants in Atlanta, we were somewhat disappointed with the taste of the food this time around. Everything was somewhat bland by comparison. Usually everything is sharp in taste and exciting and fulfilling. It was still great, but our expectations were not met this time around.
The service was amazing as usual.

Food was excellent. Portions
Food was excellent. Portions were large. Limited wine list. Service was outstanding and very friendly. We dined on the patio and it was a great evening for doing so but due to the close proximity to Peachtree Street it is a bit noisy. One interesting feature was the noise from some exotic birds that were caged and constantly singing from the restaurant next door.

My go-to restaurant.
This is my go-to restaurant when I am having a small group or just going for a meal with my husband. The staff is always so accomodating...they've done separate checks for as many as 8 peeps before. They have created a little restaurant that is full of ambience and has a very neighborhood feel. I always feel like I am in a little tucked-away place in Europe. Always great!

Great evening despite birds
Fantastic food and service. However, we dined outside on the patio and the birds at the neighboring business were a bit distracting. Not Sufi's fault of course, but maybe a large shade or screen would help block out some of the noise.
$20 corkage fee seemed a little steep. Opted for the delicious house cocktails instead.
All-in-all, an enjoyable dining experience.

Great food but a little pricey
The food was excellent but a little more expensive then other Persian restaurants in town. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. The only real complaint I have is the glass of wine I ordered was a small amount of wine in a huge glass, which made it look even smaller.

Great Persian restaurant in the heart of midtown!! The service was excellent. The fresh pita and sabzi appetizer was awesome.

Never Been Here
and we were so pleased with everything. Usually you go out to eat and the entire meal takes 45 minutes. From the wait staff explaining the food, everyone sharing the plates and having favorite tastes, the evening was very enjoyable. Can't wait to go again and try other dishes!

Great service, great food
Right on Peachtree, excellent kabobs, great service, and enjoyable live music that wasn't too loud.

Luscious Food and Great Atmosphere!
Sufi's is a true gem in Atlanta, with a great location and free valet parking. This time we chose the patio seating, right next to the gardenia's and the wonderful live Persian music, a duo on synth and guitar. To eat, Mast Kheyar as our appetizer (yogurt with diced cucumbers and fresh herbs) paired wonderfully with the complimentary bread and sabzi in both taste and in portion.
Our entree was the lamb, substituting the Shirin Polo for the regular saffron basmati rice. The Shirin (which contains pistachio, carrot, orange peel, raisins and almond slices) was not too sweet as we feared, and it all went together superbly.
Before we left, we ordered the hummus and more of that fantastic rice to share! We will definitely return!

Excellent Food/Excellent Atmosphere
This month I picked Sufi's for our dinner club b/c I noticed the gem while walking (yes walking) the Peachtree Road Race. It didn't disappoint. The food was wonderful with delightful new tastes. The grape leaves were suprisingly sweet and the chicken kabobs were tender and melt in the mouth. We tried the hummus as well as the wings. A great variety for appetizers. Thanks for a wonderful time "Hotness"! We nicknamed our waiter and for the life of me I cannot remember his real name. Either way thanks for making our monthly outing fabulous!!

Sat outside with a party of 4 -- great service and food -- never knew kabobs were so good!! The bread and herb plate before the meal was outstanding and a nice start to our Persian lunch. Will def be back and have already recommended Sufi's to our foodie friends!

Curious about Persian food? Go here
My boyfriend and I decided to try something different. We showed up and made use of their complementary valet service. Some very nice guys work the valet stand. We walked in and were greeted by the nicest guy. We were sat at a cozy table for two. Our waitress was very nice and was able to help us pick out drinks -- definitely try the signature cocktail. And then she helped us pick our food. The hummus was awesome. I got the Chicken Kabob and my boyfriend got lamb kabob. Both were delicious! I think we'll be back for more.

Always a Great Experience
I recently chose this restaurant for dinner with a girl friend based on my past, positive experiences eating there. My friend and I make different eating life choices and Sufi's was a great place for both of us to get delicious food we could eat in an atmosphere conducive to carrying on a conversation so we could catch up! Don't miss the appetizer combo plate- it is a wonderful way to get to try three different dishes!

Great birthday treat!
Four of us celebrating a friend's birthday. We tried six of the special cocktails, all good to great. Appetizer platter of here choices, all excellent. For entrees, two got kabobs, one had the lamb shank, and I had the stew made with walnuts and pomegranate . All of them were packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The woman who waited on us was very helpful in making suggestions and very attentive without being a bother. Loved everything except the overly large party behind us that was fairly inconsiderate as they banged in to our chairs repeatedly greeting each other for fifteen minutes.

The food is just insane -- it's so, so good. Get the chicken barg kabob!

First experience with Persian food
The valet took our car and we made our way inside. There was a nice patio for outdoor dining if you so choose, but we opted to eat inside. There is a well stocked bar inside, as well as a decent wine selection. The dining area actually sat less people than I expected. Makes it feel a little more cozy without feeling cramped. The waitress was good. She was very attentive at the beginning of the meal and made good recommendations. The only thing I could say negative was that the entire waitstaff seemed to disappear for 10 minutes during the middle of our meal, leaving our water glasses empty during that time. Food was great and the flavors were very unique. We will definitely be back again and I will be telling people about this place.

Very good food but pricey dinner
The food quality is very good. We had lunch there before so wanted to go there for dinner. Getting reservations wasn't an issue and the place wasn't very busy on a Friday night (read into it what you will). The food quality was very very good especially the appetizers (try the Sufi special) however the BIGGEST difference we found between lunch and dinner (quality being identical) were the prices. Entrees were ~ $25 vs. ~ $10 for lunch however the portions were huge. The salmon kabobs were very good and the chicken kabobs exceeded expectations.
This is not a bi-monthly or even a monthly place for us given the prices however, we will go there again. There are other similar quality (maybe a notch below) that are cheaper, way cheaper.

Very Good Persian Food
The food was excellent; the wine list was reasonable and appropriate for the food served. The food portions were more than adequate. The service was attentive and prompt. Highly recommended for Persian/middle eastern food. The only disappointment was the stuffed grape leaves appetizer. I

Sufi's was a fun experience. They had live music the night we went, which inevitably made the noise level a bit louder than I expected. Food was good. Waitress was very nice. The LivingSocial Hand-Picked deal gave us the best bang for our buck.

Another excellent meal
We have taken our friends here, taken our parents here, and had lovely dinners alone here. Every time, the service has been solid, the food has been excellent, and we've left full and happy. I had the shrimp kabob, my boyfriend had the chicken koobideh, as always. Both were amazing. Hummus is the best we've ever had.
