This is our go to Italian
This is our go to Italian in an area loaded with Italian restaurants. It is very authentic with a great staff that always makes us feel like home. A very good menu with fair prices and lots of excellent specials.

My favorite neighborhood gem
I love this place. I take my son frequently for lunch and recently went with some girl friends for dinner. The specials were inventive and delicious. I had a veal ravioli with sage and butter to die for and a huge buratta and prosciutto salad. My friends had the seafood salad which was amazing And take nice assortment of light pastas . Great wine selection as well.
I highly recommend this friendly gem of a restraunt . The noise level is low ( nicely spaced tables) and parking behind is easy in this busy area..
It's so easy and good!

They claim they have the best
They claim they have the best Italian food on the West side - and after eating there we had to agree! My sons and I took "Mom" out for Mother's Day and the food, service and ambiance were all wonderful. Each one of our four meals, the appetizers and salads were outstanding.

Great food. One of the nicest
Great food. One of the nicest Italian restaurant on the westside. Unfortunately, it is understaff. We had to wait for a while to get our food and the check. We were not the only table that had to wait. Service needs room for improvement.

What a find!
Only found out about this restaurant through a BlackboardEats coupon. Two of us had a long, leisurely lunch on the spacious outdoor patio. I'm sure we stayed longer than we would at most other places because it was quiet and beautiful. The salmon was delicious as was the mussel dish in a wonderful tomato based broth. The service was attentive, yet not overbearing considering how long we stayed. Look forward to having dinner there some day.

Amazing service and great food!
Fantastic neighborhood Italian place that is just so hard to find in LA anymore. Reminds me of a great Chicago or Boston local Italian place. Everyone there is speaking Italian to each other. They have the best homemade pappardelle in LA, especially the Boar pappardelle. Service is warm, generous and kind. Beautiful outdoor patio is a plus.

In a neighbor sea of excellent Italian restaurants, Sor Tino doesn't necessarily stand out, but floats near the top. It is just consistently satisfying, good no-rush service, great food and pleasant without glitz. The Pappardelle with wild boar is the taste I remember from Tuscany (although pasta may have been Pici). Recommend eating outside if conversation is important to you.

We had a blackboard eats coupon so decided to try this, though after reading recent Open Table reviews were concerned. We were pleasantly surprised. We ate outside, were attended to immediately, it was quiet, the service was excellent, and most importantly our meal was superb. My husband had the lamb, one of the best he has had, and I had a special pasta with black truffles. Under $30 per person is estimate without wine and for main course alone. Would definitely return. Would like to go with group so as to try other shared appetizers.

Best pasta we've had in LA!
Gnocchi pomodoro and paccheri (short, wide rigatoni) bolognese were both exceptional, easily the best we've had in LA. Chocolate hazelnut torte is an absolutely amazing, one of a kind delicious dessert. Sor Tino is most definitely our new favorite neighborhood gem.

will be back soon
We really enjoyed our dining experience at Sor Tino. We came with a larger group. The food was delicious and the wait staff was perfectly attentive and did not rush us along. We will definitely be back.

Love Local Italian
This is a great place... it's just off the hub bub of San Vicente, and the food is very very good. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside patio. The wine, and the food were excellent. I've been back several times

We made our son's 32nd. birthday party at Sor Tino last week. The food, from appetizer pizzas to white truffle pasta, was terrific! Personally, my favorite is their baby artichoke, frisee and shaved parmesan salad. It's light, fresh-tasting and lemony. I love it!!!!
Everyone was happy with their respective selection.
I had had a cake and centerpieces delivered. When I arrived, the centerpieces were placed appropriately on the large table. Giorgio helped us make several wine selections for the table, which turned out to be perfect and delicious! BTW--The restaurant did not charge a cutting charge for the cake, which is unusual, and was appreciated.
Sor Tino is a neighborhood gem, perfect for foodies and we recommend it.

Italian doesn't get any better!
So good. Continue to think this is the best gnocchi in town, and the new dish we tried, rigatoni with sausage and rapini, was equally stellar. Hazelnut torte remains a favorite as well, though seems like the portion size has gotten a little smaller. Overall, just adore this restaurant, and while it is pricey, the quality of the food make it feel worth the value.
