Brunello's is just terrific!
Brunello's is just terrific! Whenever we visit LA, it's a must. Food is so fresh, flavorful and well prepared. Service is superb.

perfect friday night
A waitress and busser for our table was so attentive.
She told us all the special dishes of the night.
Food and wine menu selection is nice and compact which is great.
I liked the restaurant location very much. Nice and quiet, kind of hidden location. I suppose that many of good food Italian restaurants is located in such a area.
Food was almost what I had expected. If pasta was more aldente, it was perfect.
When we left the table to the door, staff gave us a smile and say thank you.
It was perfect friday night dinner.
Arigato-Thank you very much.

Three of us tried Brunello
Three of us tried Brunello Trattoria for the first time this week and were impressed. It's a very pleasant neighborhood Italian with fresh-tasting, home-cooked dishes. The Tuesday-special linguine with shrimp and mushrooms was perfect. We had an excellent bottle of cabernet (Benziger 2009) for, I think, $36, which was worth the price. The dessert assortment was nicely varied. And the warm bread, which was replenished without our having to ask, was fantastic. The only negative was the meat lasagna, with little meatballs that were tough and flavorless; that dish needs to be rethought. All in all, though, it was a very pleasant dinner, and we'll definitely return.

Great neighborhood spot!
My brother introduced me to this little neighborhood restaurant last year and I came back with a couple friends to celebrate a birthday. The food was delicious (the Pizza Danielle is a standout!) and our waiter was wonderful. I will definitely come back often and recommend this place to everyone I know.

This turned out to be a modestly
This turned out to be a modestly priced restaurant with food and service that I would expect in a more than modestly priced restaurant. It will be my restaurant of choice when I am next in that part of town.

Recommended by a friend who lives in CC, we went there after a gallery opening across the street. It was pretty crowded when we walked in early, but they found a table for us right away. We were greeted the second we walked in the door by a wonderfully nice man (I'm thinking owner or manager?) which was a perfect start to a warm comfortable dining experience. My Sangiovese and my friend's Merlot were wonderful. We started with the arugula salad with burrata cheese and hearts of palm which was excellent, exactly what I was craving. And then the pasta we ordered, a wide tube pasta with mussels, zucchini, and squash was good enough for 4 stars. I will definitely be a repeat visitor and try other dishes.

Nice, quiet dinner spot
I've dined here on three Friday nights. The food is very good, especially the seafood linguini which is a Friday special. The wine selection is nice. The waiters are attentive and friendly. The restaurant seems to attract an older crowd and diners with young children. Despite dining there on several Friday nights, the restaurant never seemed bustling or noisy. The restaurant has a wine bar which does not seem to attract diners.

A Taste of Napoli
The owner of the restaurant was originally from Naples. Having travelled to Italy I can vouch for the authenticity of the food. Many of the staff and waiters spoke Italian.
Moderately priced, but a real find.
If you are in the Culver City area, go out of your way to have a meal here.

Family owned and run
Large portions, delicious food, good wine at fair prices, in a local pleasant environment with average décor. Would highly recommend to couples and families. Very accommodating with menu changes! Delicious Cesar salad and fresh swordfish.

Brunello is a neighborhood gem
And people come from well outside the neighborhood. We were two couples who all thoroughly enjoyed our food, the ambience and the service. It's a comfortable place with larger than usual tables, spaced nicely to allow conversation without having to yell at one another. My sea food pasta was terrific, and I'd order it again with pleasure. The service was pleasant and attentive without attitude or hovering. A great evening all in all.

Brunello in dineLA: Loved It!
The Bruschetta al Pomodoro and seafood linguine were delicious. If it weren't for dineLA, I never would have tried this restaurant. Free Parking is available after 6 p.m. I definitely will go back to try other items on the menu.

Friendly Italian Family Restaurant
What a wonderful experience at Brunello Trattoria! I took some business associates there one of which spoke Italian who enjoyed conversing with owner/operator Bruno throughout the evening.
Fanastic food and wine; service is wonderful and the ambiance makes for a relaxed but classy meal. Right off Washington and La Cienega - who knew such a great place was so close.

Great authentic Italian food
By far some of the best Italian food I've had. It's a great spot to take a date, especially if they enjoy Italian. The service was great, the food was phenomenal and the manager is so friendly.

Great lunch spot!
I hadn't been aware of this restaurant until dineLA's Restaurant Week. My appetizer, bruschetta, was absolutely delicious, as was the bread. My pizza was tasty but the crust was just a bit bland, which is why I have given them four stars rather than five. I'll be back to try more items on their menu!

Brunello's is our second kitchen! We eat here at least once a week. Bruno and his family always make us feel welcome. The food is solid and is consistent. Prices are reasonable. We always look forward to being "too tired to cook".

We were in town from Texas
We were in town from Texas to help move our son into his apartment, and thought we'd try Brunello Trattoria. Reviews were good. We were not disappointed! The food was fabulous, service excellent and we will be back!

Very cozy place, wine list somewhat small, good was very good. Ambiance was perfect. Veal Scaloppine was done well. Lighting was a bit off. Would return. Great for casual dining with friends.

Always smells good
I have been to BRUNELLO many times and it never fails me. This by far is the finest and freshest pasta, fish, and bread on the planet. every thing I've ever had there was really good. They have the grassy smelling olive oil that says ummmmm. It's quiet, smells like good Italian cheese, and tomatoes, fresh bread, just what you want to smell going in. My wife and I love it...

Away from congestion, leisurely dining, very accommodating.

Culver City Find
Talk about a really great find... and BT is it... Right down the street from the Old Helms Bakery... is a truly wonderful restaurant..
They don't rush anything .. the food comes out perfect and service was perfect..and you're not rushed out so another diner can have your table...
We have been there twice now and plan on bringing more friends to share in a great meal and fun time...

The restaurant was very quaint; the white linen tablecloths add a charming elegance. While the venue's appearance is understated, the place was very tidy and all menu selections (i.e., appetizers, salads, main course and dessert...yes, we did it all) were exceptional.
The restaurant staff were all very courteous and unobtrusively attentive. All courses (lunch dining time window) were delivered to the table without delay -- and as requested. The only downside was that I neglected to inquire as to whether the restaurant offered alternative black linen napkins to avoid the inevitable lint that comes from placing white linen napkins in your lap when wearing certain fabrics.

Authentic Italian Favorite
We have never been to culver city before but found this little Italian gem on line. we thought it was excellent. we have travelled to Italy many times and the food was like being in italy, meaning simple but very tasty. It seemed that the place is full of regulars from the neighborhood. I had the ink squid pasta with salmon special .... yum. Finally, i had asked for birthday celebration thru open table and i didnt even have to ask and the server brought us a delicious tiramasu with a candle. great touch ! go check it out

Once is not enough
The atmosphere was good to be able to enjoy a meal and have a conversation without having to shout or being pressured to end.. Good selection of menu items that are reasonably priced. Interesting wine list but they are open to allowing you to bring in your own wine for a small corkage fee. Just so happens I ended up there the following night for dinner again and had an enjoyable meal.

Great neighborhood italian
My daughter and I had dinner here after finding the restaurant on Open Table. We were not disappointed. The food was terrific, as was the service. If I lived in LA, I'd come here all the time. It's the nice neighborhood Italian place that everyone wishes they had close by!

The Real Deal
This Italian restaurant is the real deal. The owner is from Naples and all the food is made fresh in house, including the bread and pasta's. The buffalo mozzerella is the best I've have anywhere other than Italy. If you're looking for a fine authentic Italian meal, this is the place!

Excellent food and atmosphere
I have eaten there several times and every time, I have had a great meal and dining experience.

Brunello Trattoria in Culver City offers excellent, authentic Italian cuisine complimented by attentive but not intrusive service in a chic, fun environment that welcomes both casual diners and those looking for a more special evening without feeling like they have to get "fancied up" for the occasion. The menu is varied, the portions are plentiful without being overwhelming, wines are sold by the glass as well as by the bottle and the gelati is a great way to complete a meal. Enjoy!
