For years this has been a terrific place for breakfast and lunch. Tammy has extended this to include dinner. The crew seems to feel fondness for each other, so makes for a friendlier place. Business was pretty slow the night we were there, so hopefully they will be able to hang in there. The musicians were a pleasant surprise, tho we ate outside for more quiet for conversation; came inside to finish our wine to listen and recall the days of music at the old Danville Hotel (35 years ago). Good appetizers, entrees, not sure about desserts - next time!

The location cannot be beat
The location cannot be beat in downtown Danville. Father Nature's has a woodsy feel and great ambience and the view out the front windows of Prospect Street gives the small town feel we original Danville peeps love. Food is good and the wine list is great. Pricing is appropriate and reasonable. Entertainment with live bands such as Dave Land and the Downtowner's is great.

Love the Hideaway!
Friday night the weather was warm and beautiful! We enjoyed sitting outside listening to the live music and eating delicious food. The Hideaway was a great way to end our work week and start our weekend off right! The raviolis were flavorful, the salads, ahi and bruschetta were yummy. We'll be back.

great neighborhood hang out
Good and friendly service, good food, not too pricy and kids meal is huge. Menu is not big and wine list is not big.
3 times a week outdoor music is great for evening hang out.

It was Hot August Night's in Danville. Crowded everywhere. Kelly was the absolute best!!!! They didn't expect such a crowd, though she took care of us like there was no "extra" crowds. We were treated special. Food was amazing. Hadn't been here since it changed a few years ago. Definitely, one of our favorites!!!

Great Place feel right at home
I love Father's Nature's, I have been going there for years. They have the freshest eggs and cook them perfectly, best in the East Bay for breakfast. Lunch items are fresh and homemade.

A very nice small place. Live music on a Saturday evening. My wife and I both had the Gumbo and it was excellent. A little slow but it's a calm laid back place so that's fine and we enjoyed the music along with the food, so there is no rush.

Went to Father Nature's Shed for lunch with a friend. I had the cob salad and he had the patty melt. Both of us were very happy with the service and the food. Definitely will go there again.

We always knew about Father Nature's Hideaway, but just tried it for the first time. It was such a pleasant surprise. Our wait person treated us like long lost friends. She was awesome, and we felt really comfortable. My boyfriend and I shared the spinach salad and the special appetizer artichokes. Plenty of food there, but I did manage to eat most of my chicken piccata -- very good. My boyfriend had the lobster ravioli and shared a bite. Really tasty, and the vodka sauce was a great compliment to the ravioli. All in all, one of the best meals we've ever had. We will definitely be going back. I'm sure the outside seating would be great in the summer. Another restaurant to add to our "favorites" list!
