The hostess and the waiter were very accomidating. We had our 8 and 10 year old's and they really went out of their way to assist us. The kids menu was limited but the waiter helped us find what we needed and they also made shirley temples. The New Orleans flavors were impressive. The hardest part was picking from the large menu. It all looked so good. I had the shrimp with grits. I'm not normally a grits guy but the combo was delicous. My wife had the bowl fo clams and we both said we'd come back next time we are in town. Oh, also I'd recommend the chocolate brownie covered with ice cream, whipped cream, candies pecans, bananas fosters, and caramel. Wow! My kids are still talking about it....

We were visiting from Victoria, BC and heard about this restaurant. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was excellent. From the appetizer to our New Orleans style mains the food had a feel of comfort.

We loved it!!
We had a great time and the food was wonderful!! We look forward to dining there again on future trips to Seattle.

A special anniversary dinner!
So many food choices and all we tried were delicious! Service was good and everyone was friendly. It was our anniversary and the hostess immediately gave us her best wishes. In addition, dessert of our choice was on them!

First Time Attending the Restaurant
My mother and Father ( father is very particular about service and wine) were in from Texas. I suggested this restaurant from a neighbor who had gone there just three days before (for breakfast). I was nervous about it because I like to impress my father and I can happily say that this restaurant did not let me down. The food was outstanding, drinks were fanominal and the services was like nothing we have ever had. The scenery was wonderful as well, the colors were warm and comforting, candles everywhere. The whole experience was just wonderful. I would definitely go back!

Great food and service! Unique
Great food and service! Unique look inside, really beautiful. Can sit in booths to eat, or they do happy hour at the bar. Will definitely be back!

A restaurant that lives up
A restaurant that lives up to the hype. Shame though that they felt the need to add 2 TV's to the bar area. We visited on a busy Saturday night and my only grumble would be that it appeared that there was only 1 bartender so it took some time to get our drinks, after waiting some time to get asked what we wanted to drink. Otherwise, a great experience. An extensive menu (and impressive wine list) which invites you to go back again to try the dishes you didn't order. The most enjoyable meal we've eaten out in Seattle at a very good price for the quality.

Our party of four loved this place. It was loud and lively and had a great vibe. Menu is extensive and it's hard to choose but we opted for the fixed price which was a good deal with a nice selection. Our waiter was helpful and highly informative; he actually discouraged us from ordering the oysters because the area they were from was being affected by a red tide. (Since we had had oysters at another highly reputable restaurant the day before, we were disturbed to hear this. We have no reason to doubt him but found this a little odd.) Nice cocktails and great desserts although we were so full we could barely finish our beignets.

Great menu well executed
One of the great things about Toulouse Petit is how interesting the menu is. You always want to go back to try something else. The cauliflower soup was fantastic, as was the lamb papparadelle. Our waitress steered us to a wine choice that was perfect for us. Although this place is busy and it can be hard to get reservations, if is often possible to find seats in the bar. We did this a couple of weeks ago and ate very well from bar happy hour menu. Cocktails are well executed too.

Continues to Amaze
The earliest reservation available was for 5pm, but based on our schedule for the Opera we showed up early. The maitre'd was somewhat unhelpful but a server in the bar area took us under her wing got us seated in the bar area and ensured our reservation was moved. She helped make the night wonderful.
Selected a number of appetizers (crawfish beignets, cauliflower soup with crab, salad with hot coppa, and foraged mushroom bruschetta) all were wonderful, the bruschetta and beignets blew our socks off.
Both rounds of cocktails were tasty and interesting. We had the Pan Seared Snapper with Dungeness and the Duck Confit with Lentils de Puy. Both were well plated and tasted amazing.
Toulouse Petit remains one of the stars of Seattle.

Best french restaurant
The happy hour is awesome. Great portions and choices!

Get your gumbo on
I've eaten here 3 times and each time the place grows on me a bit more. Maybe I've had more to drink each time (love those Hurricanes). The menu is very ambitious and some things are better than others. I might be spoiled by having true cajun food in Texas and Louisiana. This time we had the Sinister’ Pan Seared Gulf Prawns, Aromatic Lamb Ragu over Pappardelle, Blackened Pacific Yellow Eye Snapper with a Creole Crawfish-Tasso Sauce. TP is a good restaurant and I'm sure I'll go back for more.

Great pre-event at Key Arena location with good food and service.
9/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
Third time here it's hard to get a reservation but so worth it!! Menu has something for everyone. Do many things I want to try! My husband has had the Cajun meatloaf twice he says it best he has ever had! I had BBQ prawns with creamy grits amazing too. Will be back

Servers were attentive, food
Servers were attentive, food took a little long to come out, but the mussels in white wine and saffron were delicious.

1st time visit - impressed
Huge menu, interesting & delicious gourmet dishes, well-priced for superior quality of food, great wine list, excellent service from Jacob. The Red Velvet Cake - easily shared by 2 or 3 diners - the best Red Velvet Cake I have ever tasted.

We went at night. Recommended
We went at night. Recommended by a friend. It was a bit too noisy for us but the food was good. Would be nice for a small group of friends to go eat fine dining. Extensive wine list.
9/18/2013 12:00:00 AM
we had dinner to celebrate a birthday before our daughters left for college. The low lit ambience is very nice and the menu selection is large. All of our dinners were very tasty. I would avoid the cheese appetizers with crostini as the the amount of cheese is tiny.
9/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
Had a fantastic anniversary dinner. My boyfriend had called and asked the hostess to put champagne on the table and asked for the hostess to put a note with it. She even cut the note into a cute little heart card! The food, service and drinks were all great. I've been there for brunch and happy hour but this was my first dinner and I would definitely recommend again!
9/22/2013 12:00:00 AM
The menu is extensive, almost
The menu is extensive, almost overwhelming. Our server helped us narrow down the choices. The fried chicken with a black pepper gravy, garlic-fennel sausage with mustard greens, pork Porterhouse and the pork shoulder with ricotta gnocchi were all great choices. Next time, I would order some greens to go with the chicken. The wine choices were perfect.
9/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
Amazing food and service.
Amazing food and service. Atmosphere is great, and the view of the Space Needle isn't bad either!
9/25/2013 12:00:00 AM
The food, service and staff
The food, service and staff were all exceptional. We arrived early and sat in the bar until our table was ready for our reservation and were seated early in fact. It is nice to be able to go to a restaurant where the staff know how to take care of the customer.
9/28/2013 12:00:00 AM
A Great Find!
Very extensive menu, all the creole food was to die for. We took out of town guests for dinner and they rated it top 5 restaurants they have ever been too! Perfect for any hunger level
10/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
We were visiting Seattle for our anniversary and I chose Tolouse Petite Kitchen based on Yelp reviews. The staff was super friendly and our waitress was very exceptional. The food and drinks were fantastic! We definitely plan on returning.
10/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
This place is very popular so plan ahead and make a reservation if you'd like to go. The food was excellent and portion sizes were adequate. Desserts are large enough for two to share.

Great neighborhood restaurant
Great place. Fabulous food. Staff is very
Attentive. Can't wait to go back again to
Try another dish!

By far one of my best meals
By far one of my best meals in Seattle ever. Both my husband and I savoured every single bite. All the food from the salad to the dessert was absolutely phenomenal. Service was great and the atmosphere was fun and festive. I highly reccommend this restaurant to anyone who loves food.
10/11/2013 12:00:00 AM
More than a treat
We were seated close to our scheduled reservation time. The service was very efficient, our waitress friendly and attentive inspite of a busy noisy crowd--post Seahawks game and start of restaurant week. Extensive menu selection and wine list. We ordered from the 3 course restaurant menu and didn't feel cheated. I started with a romaine salad topped with a wonderful shaving of cheese. The slow roasted pork shoulder with risotto was to die for. I finished with a flourless chocolate torte. A visual as well as aromatic and tasty feast. Not a place to go for a quiet, romantic dinner. But we didn't care, as we were so engrossed in eating our fabulous dinners. I would dine there again in a heartbeat. Loved the walls of lit candles!
10/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
One of my new favorites!
This is one of my boyfriend's favorite places and now I can see why. The food was outstanding. We went for Seattle Restaurant Week and I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend the cauliflower soup and the the shrimp and sausage dish. We will be going back lots!
10/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
We had a party of 12 for a pre wedding celebration and the staff did a great job with our reservation and setting up our tables. The food was good and the drinks were also good. Our waitress was very helpful and pleasant. It had a great relaxing atmosphere with great music. I would recommend Toulouse Petit to everyone.
10/18/2013 12:00:00 AM
A bit of New Orleans in Queen Anne
We wanted a special place to have dinner with friends and a family visitor from England. This is definitely the place. A bit noisy, but it was Friday night! The food was excellent. Only our good manners prevented us from licking our plates! The service was very good, the drinks were good and we all enjoyed ourselves. This is a great place for celebrations and we have eaten there several times since it opened. Love the decor, beautiful tables and great Ambience.
10/18/2013 12:00:00 AM
Toulouse Petit is one of favorite
Toulouse Petit is one of favorite restaurants in Seattle. The menu selections are amazing...Cajun, Creole and traditional. Service is always fast and friendly no matter how busy they are (and it seems they are always very busy). The owner(s) obviously know that when a place is popular and busy, adequate staffing is essential. There is always a multitude of servers and bus people on hand...certainly no skimping on the payroll. Reservations are highly recommended especially when there is a popular act at the nearby Key Arena Event Center.
10/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
Will be back for sure
My boyfriend and I came here for Seattle Restaurant Week with another couple as a double date. Everything was extremely tasty though the crawfish dish was rather small though I'm guessing it is because it's a Seattle Restaurant Week dish. Hopefully the regular size is significantly bigger. Looking forward to coming back for happy hour as it sounds like it is highly recommended.
10/21/2013 12:00:00 AM
It was our first time at this restaurant but we thought it was terrific and will come again. The food was delicious & reasonable. Will bring more friends.
10/22/2013 12:00:00 AM
Outstanding menu and food
Outstanding menu and food excellently prepared. So many choices -- will definitely return to experience more dishes. Huge wine list, albeit pricey -- however, something for everyone. Our waiter, Chris, was warm, patient, and very helpful with our questions and requests. This place is always very busy and reservations a must. Prime time reservations need to be made waaay in advance. Our new favorite dining place in Seattle.
10/25/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great Dinner Out
I'm a frequent visitor to Toulouse Petit for Brunch, but this was my first time having dinner. The wine list is spectacularly thorough--if you can't find a wine you'll love, you're not trying. All of us at my table chose the Prix Fix option for our meal, after nearly 15 minutes of reading the huge menu over and over and realizing that there was no way to order any one item without feeling like we missed out on something. The prix fix is 39.00 and gives you three courses, which is a very economical way to try several items. Some items, such as the Prime Rib Eye and the King Salmon have an added charge, but they're totally worth it. The candles give the restaurant a gorgeous glow, and if it's a little loud, well, the food makes up for it.
10/26/2013 12:00:00 AM
Overall, Toulouse Petit delivered very flavorful food served in a relaxing atmosphere that was particularly welcome to a group of me and my coworkers.
We chose T.P. as a spot to convene after a stressful workday. We had reservations & were sat promptly upon our arrival. Drink orders commenced as well as an order of hush puppies for the table. The collective palate of the group ranged from adventuresome to very basic - everyone found something on the menu to fit their particular desires.
I ordered the Sinister, Pan Seared Prawns. The adequately-sized portion had just the right spice and texture. One of my associates & I finished the night by splitting the flourless chocolate tort . The 4 of us were all satisfied by the experience.

Beautiful restaurant, tasty food
My husband and I took my parents here for dinner and we all agreed we'd come back again. The ambience - with candles flickering on the walls throughout the restaurant - was wonderful. The appetizers and main dishes were quite good with lots of different types of dishes to choose from. The salmon was moist and flavorful, however I wasn't such a fan of the mushroom sauce. I wished the meats being offered were hormone free but they did do a good job of catering to a lactose intolerance diet. My mom had a beautiful ice cream sundae and my husband a delicious banana dessert. I wished I'd gotten his as the pecan pie I'd ordered was too dry, esp. without the cream they'd normally drizzle on top.
11/1/2013 12:00:00 AM
If you haven't been there - go!
We come to Toulouse for every special event, and to bring out-of-towners. The food is always excellent and the atmosphere is warm and inviting for dining and the bar area fun. We recommend Toulouse to alll of our friends!
11/2/2013 12:00:00 AM
We think Toulouse is not as NOLA centric as it was, but that's fine. The food on the Dine Around Seattle promotion was very good, our waitress was wonderful. The bar was not as loud as usual, it was a wonderful night.
11/4/2013 4:00:00 PM
So Amazing that..
We went back for brunch the next day. Toulouse was amazing, we will be dining here again. The menu is reasonably priced and I had a hard time choosing what I wanted because everything sounded amazing.
11/9/2013 4:00:00 PM
I've already rebooked
We came for Dine around Seattle and we're going back. The food was incredible. As Australians we find it off to have football playing in a beautiful French restaurant and we sat by the window which was a little chilly but the food and service more than made up for this trivial matter. Next time I'll just wear warmer clothes.
11/16/2013 4:00:00 PM
Great food, mediocre service
They have a very vast and exciting menu. The flavor of the food was impeccable. The service was sub-par for the price you are paying for the food. We were at a table near the door so every time someone came in we were blasted by cold air which was annoying. I would definitely dine here again, but away from the door.
11/17/2013 4:00:00 PM
Nice place for a special occassion
We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday with his family at Tolouse Petit and had a nice time. Our server was fantastic, and the food was great. The menu was a bit overwhelming for me - so much to choose from, but I was really happy with the Cajun Meatloaf, and the Duck Confit was delicious. The beignets made a perfect dessert to share at the end of the meal.
11/17/2013 4:00:00 PM
A dream come true
We tried to come here about three years ago when it was new, and ended up needing to go elsewhere because we didn't have reservations. I've been watching for an opportunity to go during Seattle Restaurant Week, and finally, it all worked out! We were SO pleased with our experience it was worth the wait! The food was amazing! We especially liked the steak tartare and duck confit. For dessert the flourless chocolate torte was incredible! Hopefully we will find a way to come back in less than three years.
11/19/2013 4:00:00 PM
Great food, ambience, service, vibe
Toulouse Petit is a great place for drinks or dinner. The food is good, the service likewise, and the ambience and vibe are second to none. It may not be the best place for quiet dinner conversation - it is much too lively for that. But for a memorable dinner and lots of fun, two thumbs way up.
11/20/2013 4:00:00 PM
Every time we come here, we are pleased with our choice. The service was not as good as in the past, but the food was excellent.
11/21/2013 4:00:00 PM
We are here our first night in town. Excellent food, incredible desserts, beautiful restaurant and decor. Service was great and happily answered all our questions about the menu. We will definitely be back our next visit to Seattle.
11/21/2013 4:00:00 PM
Louisiana French at its best!
I hail from the south and know a good jambalaya when I eat one. This was a good one. So much depth of flavor in the roux and the house-made andouille. The fried green tomatoes were spot on, as were the creamy corn grits (fancy people call it polenta). My husband had several delicious items, including the crab &cauliflower soup with white truffle oil.
I must also give outstanding kudos for the service. My 16-year old step daughter was recently diagnosed type 1 diabetic and must calculate her insulin dose based on the carb count of what she is going to eat. This was our first restaurant outing and our server was amazingly helpful with portion sizes and ingredients so that we could calculate her dosage properly. Many thanks!!
11/22/2013 4:00:00 PM
We have been to Toulouse Petit in the past and were surprised with the decline in the quality of the food and service. The biggest surprise was the obvious turnover of the restaurant to club mid evening with bouncer and all. Sorry to say, we probably will not be going back...
