a cut above usual hotel dining
This restaurant is inside the Crown Plaza Hotel. The ambiance is very nice with an open flow in the large interior atrium. The menu and service was classic and classy. Our server, Bayardo, dressed in coat and tie, was efficient and very friendly. He was the shift supervisor. He had great recommendations on the food and wine. The classic menu is heavy on steaks and chops, but does include enough seafood, poultry, and vegetarian entrees to please most. The French onion soup and clam chowder were both excellent. Our two entrees were delicious, the portabello mushroom steak and the Rib Eye steak accompanied by a large Idaho baked potato. There is a full bar and a nice California wine list.

Outdoor dining - indoors
We were quite pleased with our dinners and the service was excellent.
Given its location in the hotel it is a great place to go to get the outdoor dining experience while protected from the elements while seated on their expansive indoor patio
