Super Pricey but Super Good!
Our server was awesome. Helped guide us through the menu which was needed. There was never a long wait for the next dish either. I was super impressed. The food... Awesome. Our faves were the risotto, foie, yellow tail and jalapeño and crispy rice and tuna. Don't go for romance. Tables are close together so it's not ideal for alone time. We're tappers though so we just started talking food choices with our super close fellow diners. Finally...it's very expensive. The portions are very small which fits with the way the menu pushes you to enjoy several dishes. It doesn't fit however with diners on a budget. It you were getting sushi rolls only, it wouldn't be that bad. But if you just want a traditional roll, avoid this place.

It's our third time to Nobu
It's our third time to Nobu in Miami and we love the food! The mushroom soup, sashimi selections, nori rolls and the black cod were outstanding! So many wonderful choices and the service was expedient. My water glass must have been filled a dozen times.
The only thing that I would say could be inmproved is the interior decor. It's looking a little tired. It needs a facelift and other creative ways to separate the diners from each other. I always feel like I'm on top of our neighbors conversations.
The reception/hostess this time was much friendlier than in the past.

Best dining experience of our trip
Nobu Miami was highly recommended to me for my recent visit to Miami. This was hands down the best meal we had during our trip. Our server was amazing at recommending food that was appealing to our tastes and he was extremely attentive to our needs. The black cod and miso cappuccino are an absolute must-have! This is definitely a repeat!!!

Beautiful food, in taste and visual
Stunning. Beautiful food - both in taste and visually - great service. Easy to get carried away and smash $400 on a meal for two with champagne. Worth every penny. Truly a dining experience.

It is a bit noisy. It was not an issue for me. But the food and service are exceptional.

A Saturday night extravaganza
Other than the rather cool reception upon arrival, and the loud table close to us, we had an incredible evening which lasted approximately 2.5 hours. It was a special evening and we tried many dishes. Almost everything we would order again - the tacos, the sashimi, the black cod, the beef skewers and the special branzino. The rolls were fine, and probably on the menu to pacify someone not keen on sashimi, but for the price, I would advise against. The restaurant was extremely lively, and the service was excellent.

Great food, blah ambiance
The food and service was excellent. The décor was a little plain and it was a bit noisy. The restaurant is at the Beach Club Hotel, which also has a really fantastic outdoor lounge/bar space - very cool. So, for the overall experience it was a good pick.

Great time !Way better than mr chow - that was awful
4/24/2013 4:00:00 PM
It's on my bucket list to make it to every Nobu in the world! Miami was no disappointment! It's very loud but otherwise great- new style as always, delicious!! Very cool outdoor space for drinks too!
4/25/2013 4:00:00 PM
I love this place!!!! The food is unbelievable !!! I highly recommend from the special menu the crispy rice, the lobster risotto with truffles. Also the black cod is to die for , everything we ordered was delicious. Expensive but totally worth it.

Yellowtail shashimi w/ Jalapeno !!!
That is the one reason I've been going back to NOBU for the last 5yrs...if not, longer!
I love that dish...
5/4/2013 4:00:00 PM
I've been to two other Nobu restaurants and this one was my favorite. The hotel setting was beautiful and the food was some of the best I've ever tried! I will definitely go back the next time I'm in South Beach!

The food it is realy excelent!
The food it is realy excelent, but looks old , i think the restaurant need remodeling or move another place with better structure!
5/11/2013 4:00:00 PM
Everything was incredible as usual. We tried many dishes so we good enjoy a variety of flavours and textures. Jalapeño yellowtail is our favourite dish. (We each get our own!) the beef skewers, rock shrimp in spicy mayo, sushito peppers and miso
soup laid were all killer. The crispy rice with tuna feature was delish as were the beef skewers. Service was a little overly attentive because we were there for an early seating but other than that a memorable, repeatable meal!

Nobu is understated and expensive.
Nobu is understated and expensive. Quality of food is excellent and service is impeccable. Seafood is very special/ great sauces and extremely fresh. Only rub was the $ 4.00 cup of coffee with refills also at $4.00 a pop. You would think that spending $500 for dinner for 2 would not give reason to end on such a bad note.

Skimping on Decor
Missing was the decor we have come to expect from the New York Nobu's. The valet kept us waiting outside at the unnamed entrance. The food was outstanding as always.

Makes the Shore Club special.
The food is superb and takes eating in the hotel to a whole new level. AJ
6/7/2013 12:00:00 AM
The food is amazing, but expensive.
350 $ for 2 persons (7-8 small plate + a wine bottle).
I do recomment it for a special occasion.
6/8/2013 4:00:00 PM
We went to Nobu to kick off my sister's bachelorette and had a great time. The server recommended some great Sake and rolls and everything was very tasty :)

The Nobu Experience
Had a wonderful time dining at Nobu in Miami Beach Fl, last Sunday June 23rd, 2013!
To experience Japanese Cuisine at such a high level and presented in such a classy way was worth every penny.
No, Nobu doesn't come cheap, but the food and wine (prosecco) were perfect and the ambience, although a bit loud, was very lifely.
Recommend the seabass sautee...excellent as well as sashimi, tuna, salmon and japanese snapper....
I'll be back.....London next time!

Another GREAT meal at Nobu
Nobu never fails to impress and our recent dinner there was another fine example of outstanding food and service. Our waiter Yung could not have provided better service and his recommendations were spot on. The Black Miso Cod and the Sea Bass with Pickled Bean sprouts were out of this world though the Sea Bass has displaced the Black Miso Cod as my favorite! Don't forget to add the Spicy Garlic Vegetables to really have an amazing dinner and then top it off with Miso Capucino dessert!

This was our first time at
This was our first time at a Nobu restaurant and we were very impressed. We love to travel and dine out, and Nobu lived up to our expectations . We just got married last week and we are still celebrating, so this dinner for us was special . Our server, Mario, chose all of our courses for us, and we were treated to a variety of their menu , from appetizers to desserts. Every dish was unique, delicious , and beautifully presented . My husband was happy they had Louis XIII - his favorite after-dinner drink. We would highly recommend this restaurant and definitely plan to dine their again. Thanks to Mario for a great dining experience !

Nobu never lets down
Yet again an awesome experience. Food and service as expected. A bit too busy but still amazing

For a clean eater Nobu always ticks the boxes. Beautiful food, a favorite.

We stayed at Shore Club Miami
We stayed at Shore Club Miami and dined at Nobu our first night in SoBe. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. The food made our experience, however. I recommend sharing as many plates as you can. Among our favorites: squid pasta, gyozo, and any sushi roll.

I have been dying to try one of the Nobu locations for years, but being from the Midwest it was a little difficult. Nobu Miami did NOT disappoint. The food and drinks were amazing, service was fantastic, and the ambience was great! It is VERY pricey, but I knew that going in so wasn't too worried. My friend and I spent some time at the bar before and after dinner and it was quite lively, especially the later it got. The drinks were strong, but with good flavor..alcohol taste not too overpowering. The Black Cod was the best thing I have ever tasted. This is definitely the kind of place to go to treat yourself for a special occasion, but well worth it!

My short and sweet review.
One of the best sushi restaurants I've been to, a great atmosphere with great service and awesome menu. Pricy to say the least but for a special occasion or simply if you don't mind spending money on good food I'd recommend it! I could recommend items from the menu but it is all great to be honest and the only thing I would say is to ask your server for the 'off menu' items as they always have them but won't tell you about them!!
8/18/2013 12:00:00 AM
My meal at Nobu Miami was one of the best I've ever had in my life. My sister and I ordered several rounds of small plates or meals to share and were able to try many different things (all of which were utterly delicious). We also enjoyed a variety of cocktails and sake throughout our several hours there. Our waiter, Que, gave us the best service possible and was a pleasure to be around. I would go back to this restaurant in a heartbeat!

Booked Nobu for a romantic dinner with my husband. First time his been there. We had a great time with delicious food and drinks and good service. Suggestion: ask your waiter what are the specilities of the house. Delicious rice with mushrooms and truffle oil :)
9/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
Every thing was great
Don't miss to try king crab tempura ponzu and chilean sea bass or scalope.
9/7/2013 12:00:00 AM
Is not that the food wasn't good, because it was amazing but the price is to much for what we had. For the price that we paid, the restaurant should be incredible even in the ambient.
The decoration is normal. I'll not going back it is just not worth it.
9/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
One of the best ever!!
Best service I've ever had. All of the food served within 10 minutes. The servers were great, they were extremely helpful and catered to our every need. The food: it is expensive, but it is by far some of the best food I've ever eaten. Each course was an amazing delight of deliciousness. It's difficult to explain until you've been there, but it's a very unique taste and everything is like nothing you've had before. Also, the Eva Sakura (old fashioned with sake) and the Pisco Sour (traditional Peruvian drink) are some of the best drinks on the menu. My girlfriend is Peruvian and this was the perfect place to bring some South American spice back for our anniversary. Aside from the price, Nobu can do no wrong.

Great food and service
Very friendly staff that greet you with a smile at the front desk and continue to wait on you with expert service during your meal.
As with any Nobu restaurant the food was delicious, the sushi was fresh and the hot food was cooked to perfection.
I would definitely go there again.
10/11/2013 12:00:00 AM
Excellent as always
The food is excellent at this restaurant...always. But make sure that you do not just limit yourself to the sushi. The entire menu is great.
10/29/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great dinner at this renown place. Amazing food, aspecially the Black cod. would return to test every dishes. Only one bad point, it is a very noisy place.
10/31/2013 12:00:00 AM
We had the waiter basically bring us out a little of everything and the experience met expectations for the internationally reknown restaurant. The fish of course was extremely fresh and you can definitely appreciate the cutting skill and the choices of sauces or accompanying components. The waiter was exceptional and the crowd was definitely chic. The desert sampler was also not too great - I have never been a big fan of the hard shell ice cream with a wax type taste and texture. Zuma's banana desert blows anything away on that sampler. The rolls were okay but the sashimi, lettuce wraps and other non rice dishes were excellent.
It is also very expensive, even for Miami.
11/1/2013 12:00:00 AM
food and sake were great,
food and sake were great, service was good, a/c far too cold, seating a bit too narrow...

The food at Nobu's is just amazing... Altough it is not the nicest one in the world, you should visit if you like Nobu dishes...
11/6/2013 4:00:00 PM
taste buds were going crazy this night! Dont get me wrong, Nobu is expensive so probably not a place you'd go too that often but for those special occassions it was WELL worth it. The fish was so fresh and the plates were creative.
Get the Toro Tuna prepared 4 ways.... incredible
and the pork belly on watermelon ... insane
everything was delicious and you will not regret it.
A bit noisy but not at an unmanageable level.

Excellent but pricey sushi
Nobu is still offering sushi in excellent quality but other Japanese restaurants in Miami are catching up very rapidly. Nigiri/sashimi fish portions are tiny and since they are 3 times the cost at Nobu as compared to other restaurants one cannot lose the feeling of being ripped-off. May be others start to feel the same way. We were there on a Wednesday evening and the place was half empty and had not filled up by the time we left hours later. If you are trying to impress a date with the Nobu cache´and money is no objective by all means enjoy the show, but if you are looking for excellent sushi/sashimi at more reasonable prices there are much better choices in Miami.
