Went here for pasta to carb
Went here for pasta to carb up for a half marathon, and the meal was delicious! Bottles of wine are half off for happy hour which is a great deal. Nice location on 18th street. Overall we really enjoyed it!

Food was great, but I was expecting a mediterranean restaurant. I'm never thrilled when the menu strays too far from it's roots. Example: Pina coladas for drink?

Lovely little restaurant; amazing food and a great atmosphere. Service was good, though the waiter that I had spoke very quietly and just popped up out of nowhere which was creepy a bit.

It's long time neighborhood staple for brunch. The only thing I'd change is the noise level - though I doubt there is anything that can be done. What I really appreciate about RT is that they allow me to take my dog onto the patio in summer.

Had a lovely dinner with a friend from out-of-country. We sat outside and I especially appreciated the fact that our server was attentive but in no way rushed us. So often with outside tables on a beautiful night the staff want to turn the tables, and seem to push people through their dinner to do so. That was most definitely not the case here. Food was really good, drinks were yummy, and I'll be back!

Consistently good, fresh food
Always enjoy this. I have taken several friends there and they always like it. The Rosemary's salad is delicious.

I have been coming here for 7 years and the staff is quite friendly. I love the food and my girlfriend loves the fresh fish and olive oil. It reminds her of mediterranean cuisine in her native Spain. I recommend a large salad with grilled fish or steak on top. Great bread and olive oil come with free.

Rosemary's Thyme became one
Rosemary's Thyme became one of our favorite restaurants while living in Dupont and it is still where we frequently head back to now that we live in Takoma Park. The staff is terrific, the food is always delicious, and despite the white linens there is a down to earth sensibility about the place. Plus, they have great outdoor seating and were always gracious hosts when we brought our dogs as well.

Perfect brunch spot
thank you for being a RELAXED brunch spot. All the places in DC are fancy and expensive. This place has tasty food, not gourmet mind you, but very tasty! A light and fluffy omelette, a great breakfast pizza, and a perfectly cooked salmon eggs benedict. Prices were reasonable and outdoor seating was lovely.

Turkish Comfort Food
The meal was awesome. Not the formal Turkish style but like what would get in a good local restaurant in a turkish town. Well flavored kabobs, tender meats and good salad. All ingredients seemed fresh with no artificial flavorings. The Lamajune was the best I have had since Uskudar's street food.
The Mohito was made with fresh ingredients and the Raki: perfect!
And they allow dogs in the outside seating! Helpful friendly service too.

Rosemary's Thyme is a fixture in north Dupont. I've been going there since grad school. Their margarita pitchers are timeless. I was happily surprised with the fruit-forward Cline zinfandel that our server suggested to fit our request of a fruitier, not dry red. I love this place because it's comfortable and homey. The food, however, leaves something to be desired.
We started with the roasted eggplant, which was just OK. It didn't pop. I then had the lamb and shish kebabs, which were, again, just OK. While well-seasoned, both the lamb cuts and the kibbeh were dry. Using the tomato sauce that comes on the plate just added acid to the dryness. So, I love Rosemary's Thyme as a neighborhood place, but I don't expect culinary wonders.

Wonderful Neighborhood Restaurant
We love this restaurant. The food is priced reasonable and the quality is always at a high level. The staff is super friendly and seem to work as a team. Mountas, the manager, is a big reason this place is so successful. The wine list is a good value for the quality of the wine. The outdoor dinning is great. Dishes to recommend are: pizzas, chicken alfedo, kebabs, aegean salad, or any of the seafood dishes.

Good times & food
We had a group dinner here for a bachelorette party. It was good fun. Table outside, good service and pretty delicious food. We all had the prix fixe meal and the happy hour wine deal was great.

Cozy with great food and service.
This was a pleasant surprise. The Turkish dishes were delicious. Wonderful service and quiet enough to hold pleasant conversation with friends.

We dined at Rosemary's our first night in the city and had to repeat a second night before we went home

Very unusual and delicious food. Our server was absolutely perfect, and gave wonderful descriptions of items on
menu. Would definitely return to this spot when in DC again!!

In the DuPont Circle area but a bit off the beaten track. A bit more relaxed and less pretentious than other places I could name. Interesting mix of Italian and "Mediterranean" (seemed primarily Turkish) food.

Terrific ethnic food in neighborhood restaurant and bar with comfortable, sophisticated ambience, interesting menu choices well prepared, and great service. Greek/turkish/middle eastern flair. Unusual and numerous menu offerings with wide variation in flavors. 3 out of 4 entrees were great, one ok but not as special. Loved the specialties including babaganoush, hummos and tomato appetizers with wonderful pita chips, chlcken Ikender (?sp) in great tomato/yogurt sauce, well spiced and grilled salmon with veggies, and good lamb shish. Service was fun, attentive and informative. Decaf coffee amazingly hearty. We are considering a large party in the private room for 50 plus. Would like to enjoy the large patio in the summer.
