The environment at the DAgabi
The environment at the DAgabi has been great for years, and Antonio leads the team well, aside for being very helpful and flexible, always attentive to the client's needs.
Thank you Antonio! Have a wonderful time. I will be commming back!

This is not a hot spot for
This is not a hot spot for yuppies but the bartender is cool, the crowd is friendly, and the food runs the gamet from "excellent & surprising" to "surprising & what-the-heck-is-this?".

Food and service were excellent.

Dagaba Cucina's food and selection is better than the majority of restaurants we've dined in in Spain. Worth the visit.

A graduation evening with my family
I needed to find restaurant for my post graduation dinner. When I stubbled upon this restaurant I decided it would be a good fit for my family. The food couldn't have been more perfect for the occasion(they had pescatarian and gluten free options). The service was a little slow but the overall restaurant felt cozy and never got too loud.

Great Place to Celebrate
We went here to celebrate my son's graduation from C.U. It was a bit farther north than most people travel in Boulder, so it wasn't a mob-scene, despite the fact that it was graduation weekend. They accommodated our group of eight comfortably. The food was delicious, the service friendly and efficient but not invasive. It was a great place to celebrate a special occasion.

Love dining here
Wonderful selection of tapas and reasonably priced. Tucked away in North Boulder.

Best Spanish food outside of Spain.
Dagabi has very original food from Spain. The tapas are the best I've had. They are always putting specials on the menu so you never get bored. When going as a small or large group, the tapas make the experience more fun and interactive.
5/11/2013 4:00:00 PM
Always looking forward to the surprise of the specials. Very creative menu. Love this place.

Best Restaurant in Boulder
The menu at Dagabi is alive. It constantly varies presenting delicious specilties from Antonio's repetoire of fine Spanish foods. His personal contact with the customers enhances the dining experience as well as provides an ongoing self imposed quality control avenue for him. The result are is a consistently delightful dining experience.

Food was great! The only thing
Food was great! The only thing that can beat it is the tapa places around Madrid town center. Monday was paella Monday, $12 for a great paella is a hard-to-beat deal.
I noticed that the restaurant was unusually quiet. It's usually extremely busy, hence the low noise level.

The Happiest Happy Hour
I love that Dagabi has Happy Hour all night on Tuesdays. It allows you to try a little bit of everything without breaking the bank or sticking to a tight schedule. The button mushrooms in balsamico are absolutely lovely and the meatball is fantastic.

Best Kept Secret In Boulder
Highly recommend this place to anyone. Also, be sure to go on a Tuesday since it's all day happy hour. You can't go wrong with the paella but be sure to try their calamari too.

Delectable Spanish inspired
Delectable Spanish inspired creations dance off the tongue. The food is more than traditional tapas both in size and taste, some complex dish's. Try the clams, sardines, boquerones, dates (mind-blowing), pasta with mussels and real Spanish chorizo...a must. The food here was spectacular! Very reasonable prices for an array of tastes this great to anyone seeking for robust, elemental flavors that shuffles together in deliciously ingenious ways- I have an answer for you: Dagabi .The waiter recommendations were right on spot for both wine and food A blast, enjoy.

Great Spanish cuisine in Boulder
Chef Antonio Rullo, a native of Toledo, Spain, brings his skill, knowledge, and experience to create great Spanish cocina, or cuisine, in a cozy, somewhat off-the-beaten-path location in North Boulder.
One of the indicators that Dagabi serves good, authentic Spanish food is that many Spanish people from the Denver metro area eat there; you often hear Chef Antonio speaking Spanish in the dining rooms.
Dagabi's popular tapas, or small plates, are served daily from 5 to 6:30pm and all night on Tuesdays. Specials change nightly; the menu is easy to navigate because though the entrée names may be in Spanish, the ingredients are listed in English. The pizzas are better than anything I had during a two-week trip across Northern Italy last year.

What a gem!
This was our second visit to Dagabi Cucina and, this time, we brought friends. The service was excellent and the atmosphere for both indoor and outdoor eating is lovely. My husband and I both had the Filet Mignon special last Friday night while our friends had the sea bass special and one of the large salads for their mains. Our steaks were cooked exactly as we requested and the portions were perfect. Not too little but not so much we were stuffed. We shared a Creme Brûlée dessert - raspberry - and it was also excellent. What a lovely evening!

Good portion, good food
It was Monday. Three of us had the special paella of the day and one had the paella de mariscos. The portions were generous. The chicken that came with the paella special was well cooked but the paella itself was ok - it needed a little more kick from spices. The paella de mariscos was good too, although it was a little too lemon-y with the side of half lemon and hence a little hard to taste other spices. We are all foodies so we can be a bit harsh on criticizing the food. Overall, good food experience for us.

Tapas Happy Hour Always Happy
We love going to the Dagabi Cucina for two reasons. The first is that it is in our neighborhood, which is very handy.
The second is that we love the Happy Hour. The Tapas and the prices are great and you get a lot of food. The Chef is very talented and the staff is superb!
Thank you for being such a good neighbor!

Fun summer evening
We enjoyed a Tuesday evening on the patio - the menu on Tuesday has Happy Hour all evening and gives a huge selection of tapas and other delicious items to choose from. Great way to spend a relaxing evening.

Continuing Variety and Quality
Antonio's love for what he does is evident with the unmatched offering of tapas and entrees. Great food in a delighful environment.

Best place in N Boulder
Dagabi Cucina is a N Boulder gem. The food is always delicious, the service delightful and the environment is comfortable and friendly. Unlike some other Boulder restaurants the noise level at Dagabi is quiet and relaxing. I have taken many friends to Dagabi for dinner and happy hour and we have never been disappointed. The pasta is fresh and perfectly cooked, the clams are delicious, the cooked greens are lovely, the arugula salad was fresh and tasty. The wine selection is ample (although this isn't my forte). This visit we had the red sangria and thoroughly enjoyed it although my favorite drink is the Lemon Drop Martini. The dessert selections are lovely and delicious. Everything about Dagabi Cucina is predictable and delicious.

Nice find away from Pearl St
Looking for something away from the tourist and found this place. It is a bit hard to find off the street. We had a great dinner and the desserts where even better,

North Boulder quality
Dagabi opened back in the late 90's before I moved away from Boulder, and quickly became known for great Italian food in a niche north Boulder market. I have been back every few years when I visit, and am happy to report that their food has remained high quality and consistently fresh. The wine and bar list is decent, the pasta is fresh, the service is friendly and the place has a way of attracting regulars. A refreshing change of pace from the downtown scene.

Excellent tapas & great Happy Hour
Went to Dagabi with my two kids and two adults. Their Happy hour menu is extensive and offers the customer a number of choices. They have a great selection of tapas at very reasonable prices and portion sizes which are much larger than most tapas restaurants I've been to. The wait staff was very attentive and were knowledgable in helping us select our items. The atmosphere is relaxed and the crowd is quite diverse. I can't wait to go back!

Wide choices of tapas and entrees
We recently had dinner at Dagabi after being away for several years and were impressed with the menu. I had a pasta salad with tuna, Spanish olives, tomatoes and cucumbers that was delicious and perfect for summer!

Great for a date
I took my girlfriend here for a romantic evening and was pleasantly surprised. I had a seafood dish which was excellent, plus the wine was amazing! The food came out promptly and was the perfect portion. The outdoor seating area was perfect for a date as it made for a very romantic atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Our neighborhood "go to " place.
Love the tapas menu.. Would like to see it change slightly periodically for more variety - although I'd hate to see my favs go away! We dine here several times a month and have brought nearly all our friends/relatives. Thank you for a lovely, neighborhood dining experience!

Fabulous Neighborhood Restaurant
We have enjoyed many meals here over the years. DaGabi has had it's ups and downs, but it has been on the upside for awhile now. The food is very good, good service and wonderful atmosphere. A great option if you want to avoid the downtown Boulder scene.
8/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great atmosphere (aside from some neighborhood kids skateboarding) and DELICIOUS food. We loved the Tapas and couldn't believe the selection! It is a come-backer!!!!

Small plate special
After an afternoon wine-tasting event, happy hour, tapas, and dessert made for a lovely evening.
9/7/2013 12:00:00 AM
As always the tapas and entrees were delicious. Focusing for the moment on desserts, however, the desserts are sumptious with always something special to surprise the frequent guest. Antonio cpntiues to provide new delights. This week it was Spanish churros with chocolate. Not too sweet but just right for a warm winter delight.

We changed our reservation from 4 to 6 to 8 people and you accommodated us in a friendly way.
Thank you. Suggestion....find a way to do separate checks for the diners.

wonderful service, food, price
Our server was fantastic, wine and cocktails were delicious. It was happy hour all night, so prices were great and we tried a lot of different tapas. My sister had an entree which was also yummy. We will be back.

Endless Happy Hour
Made a reservation even though it was a Tuesday and expected a quiet restaurant. Quite surprised to see that the restaurant was full and many were waiting,...so happy we had a reservation as we were seated right away. Tues is happy hour all night and so the crowd and the wonderful selection of food and wine at a fraction of a regular dinner. Will definitely go on Tues. again and will definitely make a reservation. Alway enjoy DaGabi, our go to place in the neighborhood.

Great dinner the other night
Four of us had dinner here the other night, and enjoyed it tremendously. We each had a different entree and tasted them all. Each had a different flavor and each was delicious. Will certainly come back

I love the neighborhood atmosphere. As a return customer, everyone is very friendly, and we often receive a special something to try. The waiters give good recommendations, the food is always good, service is well coordinated and I never feel in a hurry.

Eager To Return
Very different and interesting menu, and in Boulder, that's saying a lot. Attentive service, and a good wine list. Well-executed Mediterranean-inspired dishes that were very creative without being cute. Reasonable pricing as well.

Not open for Sunday Brunch!!
This restaurant was not even open for the day I made the reservation with you. You showed that there was a Sunday brunch but when we got there it doesn't show that they are ever open on Sundays so you should take them off your list as being open on Sundays. We had to go find some other place to have lunch which was an inconvenience. I think you should make sure that all the days and times you are offering are really available. The food looked like it would be great if you could get in. I had to fill in the above ratings in order to submit this but I don't really know.

Hello Antonio, Noah, Jasa...
Last time the food was great as usual: paella with lobster. The mora salad also was a gem! Don't forget the desserts!!!
It is good to see a restaurant that has clients from all ages that feel, I think, at home. Antonio, the Chef, is always bringing novelties in the kitchen since he started working at Sagabi six years ago. Not only that, he has been able to keep the staff working efficiently, in good mood and attentive.
Dagabi offfers great Spanish food, something that Boulder did not know before: I RECOMMEND IT and I have been recommending it to many people that became regulars there. CONGRATULATIONS for the amazing work you have been doing.
