The Peking duck does actually
The Peking duck does actually melt in your mouth and is totally lean. Highly impressed.
Most of the appetizer dumplings were surprisingly like real Chinese food, in texture and consistency if not in flavor.
Sauteed beef was very very salty.

Pre Staples Center Treat
Loved this space. The service and food was great. Portions are filling but not too big. Can't wait to go back.

Creative Chinese Inspired food.
We dined at WP24 on May 3 before the Rolling Stones concert at the Staples Center. We received a great window table and were treated as special as our surrounding diners who included some of L.A.'s A-listers. Dinner began with two wonderful complimentary small plates that consisted of prawn toast and pickled veggies. The appetizer of Spring Rolls with 10 spices was a perfect beginning for the wonderful dishes that followed. The Angry Lobster is a beautiful dish in a spicy sauce with complex flavors that enhance the lobster rather than overpower it. We also tried the Singapore Prawns with a sauce that was slightly sweet and savory. The fried rice with Maine lobster in XO sauce is a nice accompaniment to the two shellfish dishes we ordered.

What a beautiful restaurant! Fantastic service; our waiter was very attentive and professional. He had a very good knowledge of the wine list, which was amazing because the wine list was HUGE! And it was on an ipad, which was gimmicky but i liked it.
Most importantly the food was Exquisite!!!! Every bite was incredible. My girlfriend and i both cleaned our plates. So delicious!!!!
5/3/2013 4:00:00 PM
The view, ambiance, and service at the restaurant were wonderful, but the food was mixed (a surprise for a Wolfgang Puck restaurant). My wife's fava bean, pea and green salad was tasteless. However, my hot & sour soup was some of the best I've had. The Peking duck was flavorful and tender, but just stood there alone on the plate. The side of Hong Kong noodles was very ordinary. Overall, the appetizers didn't seem to complement the main courses.
The wine menu was good, but since we were having Asian food, we were looking for Saké. It is there, but hidden behind the whites.
We would probably give the restaurant a second try, but our first visit was disappointing.

Very good take on Chinese
Very good take on Chinese food. Not a huge WP fan but this was an interesting spin. The pre-fixe menu was a surprise and they might want to make that clear when people make reservations for early dining.
5/15/2013 4:00:00 PM
Everyone was so friendly and professional. We really enjoyed the view, food and service! Extra special attention was given for both my husband's birthday as well as his food allergies. I have never tasted better sashimi or sea bass in my life!!! Thank you for a wonderful night!!
5/25/2013 12:00:00 AM
Most places with a view don't have good food, and restaurantes with the best food don't have a nice view. WP24 has both!!! Friendly service, great food and great view. Maybe it helped that we got a corner table and the view at sunset was spectacular, but didn't distract from the food presentation and flavors.
5/25/2013 4:00:00 PM
Though a bit pricey, WP24 was a wonderful place for great Asian fusion food, very good wine, excellent service, and a wonderful ambience for sharing a meal with friends we hadn't seen in years. For a special night in downtown LA, WP24 is the place to go.

Just a PERFECT night :-}
From start to finish a wonderful evening celebrating my wife's birthday. We had the pork belly and dim sum sampler to start, very solid, mains were the curry shrimp and quail, outstanding!! Wife's orange sorbet was outstanding! Great service, incredible views, very good food. We do not post reviews often, might be the 3rd time ever but this was a PERFECT night!!! Thanks WP24 for making it special :-}
6/1/2013 12:00:00 AM
WP24 = 9.5
It was excellent. The Duck Rolls were a bit on the dry side, but Duck usually is. Chive Crystal Dumplings, were the best. The Angry Lobster, left me Happy!
6/7/2013 4:00:00 PM
Great Dining Experience
WP24 is definitely a hot spot. Service is outstanding. The food, especially the desert was great. Your meal is presented to you (i.e. duck, sea bass) so that you may identify it before it is served. I'd suggest the Beef Short Ribs, Angry Lobster, and the Sea Bass. The dining area faces northeast which I thought would've been better on the west side to see the sunset where the bar and lounge is. There is a minimum of 3 course meal per person for dinner and, hotel valet parking is $10 with validation. The dinning area gives you that business feel (dark colors, not warm) yet beautiful...Not too romantic (rock music in the background). Fun people watching and celebrity sitings. Can't wait to taste the rest of the menu! A -

Great night out
The super moon was rising and the dinner was spectacular. Service was perfect and just a wonderful night. Have been here several times, just gets better.

Just what I expected
I have been to all of WP restaurants In L.A. and Vegas., Cut and Spago In Beverly Hills, and WP Bel Air and L.A. Live, before making reservations at WP24 I read most of the reviews. I was surprised to see that many of them were not very favorable . I decided to go anyway I had to hours to spare while my daughters enjoyed a Justin Bieber concert at The Staple Center. I have to say that either many people who have visited WP24 go there expecting the quality and prices of Panda Express or they simply don't understand the concept of high end gourmet cuisine that characterizes Wolgang. The appetizers, the main course, the desserts, and the view were absolutely unequal.
6/25/2013 12:00:00 AM
I cannot say which one I enjoyed
I cannot say which one I enjoyed most, the view or the food. 6 stars ******
6/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
One of the BEST dining experiences in Los Angeles.
7/1/2013 4:00:00 PM
Dinner was absolutely lovely. The food is fantastic and quiet authentic!
7/3/2013 12:00:00 AM
It was our 49th anniversary.
It was our 49th anniversary. The greeted us with that. The service was wonderful and so was the food. We would go back for sure. Great view.
7/7/2013 12:00:00 AM
Went here with a coupon that really only gave you two glasses of champagne since the base price was the same as the three course tasting menu. The food was fantastic but the portions are tiny. You are obviously paying for the view. The tasting of dim sum was interesting with mild to spicy flavors. Also liked the twice cooked pork belly and wagyu beef stir fry. Outstanding service. Drinks seemed watery and they put a lemon twist in their Manhattans. I didn't order a dry Manhattan so the bartender didn't make the drink correctly since the cherry was in there as well. It was also shaken when it should have been stirred. Possibly why it was watery.

Best meal I've had in L.A.
My wife and I truly enjoyed our dinner at WP24. This is the kind of experience Wolfgang Puck became famous for--taking familiar food and then transforming it into something spectacular. The service was phenomenal--attentive and friendly without ever crossing the line into intrusiveness. The interior décor and dim lighting are perfect complements to the wonderful panoramic view of the L.A. skyline. Our only complaint was the choice of music--60s folk, 70s classic rock, and some 80s pop came across as jarringly out of place. But we will put up with that in order to go back and try more of the delicious-sounding items on the prix fixe-only menu that we were tempted by but ultimately didn't choose this time. What a place!
7/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
Excellent! Rest. temp. too cold!
Excellent! Loved the whole experience. The black cod was a bit salty for my taste, but overall very good and all other dishes were just wonderful. The only uncomfortable thing was the room temperature. Way too cold and my hot tea kept getting too cold very quick.
7/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
W24 last night in town
We went to W24 as we were staying in the Ritz and wanted to dine somewhere special for our last night in the States. The staff and kitchen went out of their way to cater to my dietary requirement and what I was presented with was nothing short of amazing, especially the sashimi. The wine was delicious, the food was delicious, the staff were professional (without making me - as 'general public' not 'rich and famous' feel out of place) and the view was fantastic. We loved watching the moon rise and the skyline illumiate.
7/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
Pricey But Worth It
The food and service were excellent. The prices are high, but you get your money's worth.
7/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
A stunning surprise in downtown LA
The view alone at WP24 could knock your socks off, but the warm, lush atmosphere, and super-charged Asian menu were great. We especially liked the Peking duck: traditional, with the skin as crispy as it should be. The Korean lamb ribs were nicely spiced. The servers were consistent, knowledgeable, and friendly. The prices are a bit high, making this more of a special-occasion restaurant. But don't wait too long for a special occasion; it's worth it to make one up just to dive into that menu.
7/26/2013 12:00:00 AM
The service matched the superb menu, which matched the spectacular setting.
7/31/2013 12:00:00 AM
IM A BIG FAN ON DINING ...IVE VISITED SEVERAL PLACES THROUGHOUT L A AREA ...THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME THERE....VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE ...FOR A MOMENT OUR WAITER FORGOT ABOUT OUR MUSHROOMS BUT SERIOUSLY MADE UP FOR IT ...MY DATE WAS VERY HAPPY AND ENJOYED THE PLACE ASWELL.... WE ARE LOOKING FOWARD TO GOING BACK
8/3/2013 12:00:00 AM
Excellent view of downtown
Excellent view of downtown Los Angeles. Service is outstanding. Food is very tasty with large enough portions to share. They give you an amuse bouche was 3 or 4 different items. Whole wok fried bass is so good you want to get every piece of the crispy skin. It is expensive but worth it for a special occasion or if you just want a wonderful dining experience.
8/13/2013 5:00:00 PM
The experience of dining at WP24 is nothing short of extravagant. Our waiter, Bram, was so well-versed in the particulars of the menu he was even familiar with the changes since we last dined there two years ago. Set on the 24th floor the views of downtown LA and beyond are unrivaled and the experience, leading you from the bar, through the wine tasting room and finally into the dining room sets the stage for the lavish production of a decadent four course meal.
The food was just as we remembered it, delectable with the finest service, presentation and appearance. And the overall service was impeccable. I would highly recommend this establishment to mark a special occasion because that's what this dining experience is worthy of.
8/17/2013 12:00:00 AM
WP put on a real feed. The tastes are spectacular. Can’t wait to take my friends.
They will be imprested just like we are.
8/27/2013 12:00:00 AM
A great dining experience
From the hosts, to the staff in the lounge, to the staff in the dining area each person was friendly, knowledgable and very helpful. I have been to the lounge many times before and the private dining room once but it was my first time dining in the main dining area and the staff and service are always top notch.
I'm no foodie by any stretch but the food was so fantastic I considered showing the Chef's hand personally and thanking him/her.
Thank you for a great dining experience,

WP24 on 9/13/13
My wife and I are foodies and this was one of the best meals we have ever had. The portions are quite large so the 3 course option is more than sufficient.
9/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great food; Great View!
Being on the 24th floor, you get a fantastic view of Los Angeles... everywhere you look! The bar is modern and vibrant and set up to capitalize on the view. The food is amazing. The only drawback is the selection...too many options! :D You'll have to come back to try some of the dishes you miss! It's an interesting array as well.. kind of a Chinese-American-Fusion thing.. very good and interesting. It's definitely not your local Chinese restaurant!
The feel is very classy, yet strangely relaxed... in a good way. It's like a fine dinner party at your best friends house....
Service = Impeccable!
Definitely check it out! You won't be let down!
Oh... and Wolfgang Puck's brother works there... a veritable gentleman in his own right! Go say Hi!
9/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
This will my fourth visit to WP24, and each time it just keeps getting better! The Peking duck is outstanding and melts in you mouth. The crispy chicken is roasted to perfection and the wygu beef is to die for!
I think by now, I've tried all the starters over my several visits and could easily make a meal of just appetizers! The seafood spring rolls are outstanding! The service is impeccable, I can't wait to go back!
9/14/2013 12:00:00 AM
It was a difference experience
It was a difference experience that just going and ordering a meal. It also gave you that chance to share so that everyone could taste a variety of different plates.
9/21/2013 12:00:00 AM
Concert and Wofgang Puck works!
Not enoght staff! But love the rest! Drink and the place light up my experice!
9/28/2013 12:00:00 AM
Fantastic dining experience!
Made dinner Rsvt's at WP24 while staying at The Ritz. The Staff at WP24 were great and the food was Awesome. I had a concert to see after dinner so didn't want to order too much. Everything we had was delicious! Our dining experience along with the view was Fantastic and the food unique & delicious!I would like to go back and try some of the other dishes. I highly recommend this place if you have not yet gone.
9/28/2013 12:00:00 AM
pricey for what it is!
Prix fixe menu of $80 for 3 courses (appetizer, entree, dessert; or 4 courses for $120) is quite steep for what it is. With tax and tips, dinner comes out to over $100 per person for Chinese food, and this hasn't included any beverages yet!
Food is okay, the Peking Duck roll was delicious and unanimously everyone's favorite!
Service was very good except during arrival, when it took 10 minutes to find out which table was reserved for us.
Ambience is nice - quiet and romantic with a view of downtown. One diner commented on the decor looking strangely outdated - like a restaurant from the 80's!
10/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
My wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. Our waiter Mikko was very attentive. The four course dim sum menu was excellent.
Add to that valet parking with validation was only ten dollars. All in all we would recommend this dining experience to anyone.
10/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great view, OK food
The restaurant has great views of LA but the food was just good, not great.
10/8/2013 12:00:00 AM
Food for Thought
Dined on their Dim Sum and wasn't disappointed one bit. Not pricey if you consider the quality of the food being served. Service was very good and ambiance couldn't be better. Thought some diners were dressed a little too casual but no fault of WP24. All of the food on the Dim Sum menu was very tasty! I will definitely return for another Dim Sum meal in the near future. Delightful experience all around and recommend to all. It's nothing like Dim Sum in China town so don't go there expecting to see people pushing carts to your table. WP24 has a set menu and the Wagyu Beef is ridiculously good along with the Cod & Shrimp. Enough said, go try it!
10/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
Very relaxed atmosphere and wonderful attention to patrons. Food was also good.
10/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
The $80 pre-fixe dinner is a surprisingly good value, with terrific food and views. The appetizers, including the spring rolls and the dumplings, are the best things on the menu and are plentiful enough for four people to share. The entrees are all very good; the duck is counted as an extra entree on one person's pre-fixe tab ($30 more), but one duck provided enough for all four diners to enjoy. The black cod entree was perfectly prepared. The cocktails and views of downtown Los Angeles are great. A good choice when you're entertaining visitors.
10/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
The restaurant was dimly lit. The panoramic view of the downtown skyline was breathtaking. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and offered suggestions. I had the steamed salmon which was cooked to perfection. The crab shrimp eggrolls were delightful.
This restaurant is very romantic. It is the perfect place for a date.
11/1/2013 12:00:00 AM
We love WP 24 and because it is closer than Cut we try and get there a little more often.
11/8/2013 4:00:00 PM
This was our first time here, but like other WP restaurants a bit overpriced. The food was excellent (Chinese) and the service impeccable, but since when is Chinese food expensive? The view from the bar and restaurant is beautiful and I can only imagine on a clear, sunny California day just how much more amazing it is. We were there for dinner and it was dark but the lights were bright. I may go one more time, in the day to see the view in the sunshine.
11/14/2013 4:00:00 PM
Superb and very very Expensive
Puck's take on oriental. Very good food, original dishes. Pricey but worth it.
11/15/2013 4:00:00 PM
WP24 takes Asian cuisine to
WP24 takes Asian cuisine to the upper echelons of fine dining.
The ingredients in every dish is familiar but, the way it is
Incoporated is so innovatingly clever with Wolfgang Puck's
signature written all over it! Pricey but, you couldn't find another
restaurant that is comparable for less money.
11/19/2013 4:00:00 PM
Our 5th wedding anniversary was excellent, thanks to Jordan who made it extra fun! We loved the fusion and the service! What a love time. Our taste buds were going crazy and could not seem to get enough!

Dim Sum Special Night
My server was Heather and she made sure the evening was elegantly special... Thank you!
11/30/2013 4:00:00 PM
Fine dining & excellent service.
Definitely a top tier restaurant, be prepared to spend some money. The service is impeccable, the dishes presentation are as delightful as the taste. We were in the exclusive dining area and had the 3course meal. We will be back to experience the lounge area.
