Great Meal and Service
Another Saturday night at the Warehouse with an excellent meal and great service -- this time from Feliciano. Our salmon was superb and our first course crab cake appetizer was splendid. An energetic atmosphere and, most especially, the food and service, makes for a very enjoyable evening

Great (as usual)
Warehouse Grill is my "go to" restaurant. Lunch was delicious and service was great. We had a new waiter(Mike) and he was very efficient and gracious.

Great brunch menu, service, and atmosphere. Especially great if you want to have a nice quiet conversation. One of the best places in Old Towne Alexandria.

Really enjoyed the restaurant. The she crab soup is excellent!

art and dine
Fabulous meal, heart of Old town! We were greeted promptly upon entering and offered a choice of outdoor or indoor dining, a nice surprise as usually outdoor dining requires an additional wait. We did choose to eat inside to better appreciate the sketches of past and former customers that decorate the walls of the restaurant. Our wait staff was very attentive and we felt very well taken care of,and though the restaurant was well occupied the service was seamless. The menu options for restaurant week were more varied and generous than most and I thoroughly enjoyed my wasabi encrusted oysters, filet mignon with crabcake and smashed potatoes, and a final finish of bread pudding that was especially tasty. Just a grea!t experience all around

We really enjoyed Warehouse B&G during Restaurant Week. The salmon, crabcakes and filet were very good.

I had never been to this restaurant although I had heard many good things about it. So, when I received the Open Table email about Restaurant Week in Alexandria my husband and I decided to try it on Wednesday evening. It was wonderful, and lived up to all the good things I had heard and read. The food was outstanding, beautiful and delicious, the service was excellent. We each had a different special so we could taste a different appetizer, entree and dessert. His steak, crab cake and my salmon were all wonderful, as were the chocolate cake and the coconut cake desserts. Both the crab soup and the beignet were delicious and we cleaned our plates and went home happy. I would highly recomment this to anyone for a good meal and great service.

Love finding great places for dinin
We decided to eat here as a part of restaurant week and what a delightful menu an meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and especially sitting outside where we could people watch as we dined. We will be back and look forward to bringing friends the next time.

We went for restaurant week.
We went for restaurant week. The menu options were far superior to others in teh general neighborhood. The food was great adn well protioned. The triple chocolate decadence was superb (from a group of chocoholics).

Have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Every time we come to DC we try to eat at the warehouse
9/8/2013 12:00:00 AM
Ahhh. Just right.
I made this reservation at Warehouse hoping to find a great steak and a quiet evening out.
It more than delivered, and the service was excellent. Nice martini, too.

The Warehouse stands out in
The Warehouse stands out in a neighborhood PACKED with restaurants! Fiood and service are always on a high level, and a full and tempting menu is always complemented by mouth-watering "specials." Prices are extremely reasonable, especially for the area. There are too many excellent dishes to allow a recommendation, but the seafood gumbo should not be missed!

She crab soup
The She Crab Soup is a must. I had the Eggs St. Charles, but I wish I would have paid the extra for the Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict. ($24.95 for that versus the $12.95 for the St. Charles) The waitress asked for my drink order and disappeared for about 10 minutes, assuming that I wouldn't order until my friend arrived. Finally tracked someone down to get me a cup of the She Crab Soup. It is seemingly fancy when you walk in for a Saturday brunch, but you walk in and there are plenty of people that ducked in from a morning of walking around the Farmer's Market.

The staff was excellent and the food was unbelievable.

Always A Hit
We have been coming to the Warehouse for 15 years and have never been disappointed. The food and service are always excellent. The waitstaff are top notch. The menu is heavy on outstanding seafood dishes, but also has tasty other choices. There are multiple daily specials that are well worth trying. The owners have a few other restaurants in Alexandria but this is our favorite. We usually spend birthdays, Easter & Mother's Day brunch and Christmas Eve here. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the DC metro area, and we've tried many!
9/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
This restaurant far surpassed my expectations. We even purchased a gift certificate to give to a family member for them to enjoy the restaurant as well.
9/21/2013 12:00:00 AM
Always a treat
When you want good food and service in an environment quiet enough to enjoy a conversation, the Warehouse is an excellent choice.
9/29/2013 12:00:00 AM
Lovely evening. I made special requests regarding seating and food. Both requests were honored and I often find that is not the case. It contributed to a wonderful evening. Our entrees were excellent and the dessert too. The entrees ranged from seafood in parchment to veal. Vegetables nicely prepared and sauces excellent. Coconut cake best dessert. She crab soup excellent. Veal excellent.

Sunday Brunch is a must!
Fantastic Sunday brunch. Thoroughly enjoyed the softshell crab smothered in shrimp and crawfish etouffe. Not to be outdone by the lobster cobb salad. And champagne with strawberries come with brunch! Limited outdoor seating, but it was a beautiful day on Sunday and we enjoyed the outside table. They've continued to be a gem for at least 20 years, but keeping their menu current -- can't wait to go back.

Very Enjoyable Dinner
Had the she-crab soup, Sautéed Shrimp "Diane", and the Cajun Veal Oscar, finished with a slice of old-fashioned bourbon pecan pie. All to die for. Wait-staff was very attentive and refreshing. Definitely a repeat when we're in Alexandria.

My Old Town Alexandria FAV
I love, love, love WB&G.. Everything about it is top notch!
10/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
Very nice meal
This restaurant wasn't really what I was expecting from a place with the name Warehouse Bar & Grill. The setting was fancier than I anticipated, with white linen tablecloths and such, but the food was very good and the service fit the setting, attentive without being smothering. Our dinner choices were all over the map - a cheeseburger with bacon, filet with crab meat, and pasta jambalaya - and we were all well -satisfied with what we had. The baby spinach/Gorgonzola salad was a nice start, and our dessert choices of pecan pie, key lime cheesecake, and triple chocolate cake finished things up nicely. There are many restaurants along King Street to choose from, and this one should be a part of anyone's consideration for a nice dinner.

Fantastic food; best She crab
Fantastic food; best She crab soup in Alexandria, soft shell crab outstanding! Great variety of seafood selections much more than most Alexandria 4 star restaurants. Waiter was very knowledgeable the only hitch was the service from the kitchen was very slow. Will definitely return!
10/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
New Orleans Charm
The charm of New Orleans cuisine in a gracious setting puts me in the mood to celebrate. If you want to experience perfection, order a cup of she crab soup. Then move on to anything on their menu. You cannot go wrong!
I am partial to the popcorn shrimp salad. Included in your meal is delicious French bread.
10/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
Good food, great service but loud!
Great potential for date nights but the overly energetic noise level doesn't lend itself to intimate conversation. However, the staff was extremely attentive to the fact that it was our anniversary by seating us by a window and providing a free dessert. The food was good, service was great and the ambiance was nice. As noted earlier, the noise level was deafening and really the only negative.
10/18/2013 12:00:00 AM
Took a chance based on the previous ratings and was not disappointed. All courses exceeded expectations. Prices reasonable. Highly recommend.
10/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
We were coming in to town for one night and love Old Town Alexandria. We wanted to try something besides our normal favorites. I pulled up my open table app that iI use when we travel to find cool spots and decided to try the Wearhouse. We seriously got the best table in the house with a windowseat overlooking king street. I had the filet special with lump crab meat, bernaise, asparagus...everything I love and my husband got an Asian salmon dish, both rocked! Service was excellent and we will now add it to our favorite list when in town.
10/25/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great location, nice menu, few good special options, dim lighting, good for date night, service was great! Pecan pie was amazing! We would definitely visit again.
10/26/2013 12:00:00 AM
This was my first brunch at Warehouse - I knew after many excellent dinners that they wouldn't disappoint! I had the crab cakes benedict, a very generous portion that forced me to take one of the crab cakes home in a doggy bag! I also loved that champagne came with each entree, so my family, friends and I could toast to a great day of wedding dress shopping. Thanks for a lovely start to a Sunday!

Great Experience Overall
We booked a Tuesday night reservation, and were very happy with the dining experience. I had noted on the Open Table reservation system that it was our anniversary.
When we arrived, the maître di greeted us, and took us upstairs. When he seated us by the window, he wished us a happy anniversary; so we felt kind of special. The other wait staff was quick to attend to our drink needs, and explained the specials.
We love to have steak and lobster, but surprisingly most King Street restaurants do not feature that on their menus. We selected The Warehouse because they have "Surf & Turf." The surf is actually lump crab, but the way they prepared the crab elevated it beyond lump crab meat. Filet steaks were also amazing, and cooked perfectly.
10/29/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great food, will definitely return.
This is our 2nd time at the Warehouse and it did not disappoint. The food is delicious. There were three of us - my father had the seafood sampler which was on special that night. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the crawfish etoufee. Really good sized servings - no one was leaving hungry, that's for sure. No room for dessert. :( Shaman took great care of us!
10/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
Order one of the dinner specials. It was delicious. They also surprised me with a great dessert for my birthday. Everything was delicious.
10/31/2013 5:00:00 PM
Went for dinner on a Friday night while my parents were visiting. I had no problem making a reservation for the time I wanted. When we arrive we were surprised to see that it wasn't that busy, which I thought was surprising for a Friday night. Noise level was moderate and our waiter was attentive. We had a the alligator stew and oysters as an appetizer. The oysters were delicious and quite large. They had a mixed seafood sampler as a special for the night. It was delicious! Stuff lobster with scallops and shrimp on the side. My mom had the filet. It was cooked perfectly and also delicious. I would definitely go back!
11/1/2013 12:00:00 AM
The Trout Orleans was superb, wonderful sauce with shrimp over trout. Wine list offers choices in all price ranges. Bar seats around 10 or so; nice place to hang out to watch the game if you don't like the noise of the sports bars. The dress is casual, but not too casual. Jacket and tie fits in as well as slacks and shirt.

Wonderful service and food!
The perfect crab cake and a lovely server~ a great brunch!
11/2/2013 5:00:00 PM
First time staying in Alexandria and this great restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel...said it's known for its steaks and service. We went for our Anniversary. It was quiet but not boring. The service was exceptional and food was as well. Started off with blackened scallops which were fabulous! I got the fillet and crab patty-so tender and every single piece of my food was prepared and presented perfectly. My husband had the TBone special and it was wonderful as well.

First time dining here. Will
First time dining here. Will for sure come here again, when back in Old Alexandria.

Favorite Old Towne Spot
I make a habit to take any visiting friends or family to The Warehouse, the food is always fantastic. I'm a particular fan of the She Crab soup and the seafood sampler.
The Warehouse is definitely a place for special occasions, but can equally be your regular Saturday night favorite dinner location. You can't go wrong with you have dinner here!
11/8/2013 4:00:00 PM
We visited the Alexandria/D.C. area for a mix of pleasure and business. The Warehouse Bar and Grill was our last meal and by far was our best. There are many fine restaurants in the area, but the food and atmosphere for a casual business dinner was perfect. The seafood specials were amazing and the service was impeccable.
11/10/2013 4:00:00 PM
Best Restaurant in Town
Been to Alexandria many times and many of the restaurants; however, this by far...was the best. We were greeted immediately & shown to a "quiet" table I had requested so that we could talk. The waitress was excellent but the food was spectacular. The appetizers were lightly fried and crisp; the crab soup was tasty; all of our entrees (even specials) were excellent! The jambalaya was just as good if not better as you were in New Orleans! We will definitely go back there every time we return to the area.

Still great after all these years..
It has been awhile since my wife an I have been to Olde Town, but this place still remains one of our Top 5 restaurants in the area. She-crab soup is outstanding with lumps of crabmeat is a creamy broth with just the right touch of sherry. The seafood parchment entree (shrimp, scallops, and lobster), accompanied by roasted potatoes, broccoli and carrots, is still an excellent standout. Crabcakes are as delicious as ever.
All-in-all, given the turnover of restaurants in the past decade, it's nice to know that one of our favorite Olde Towne restaurants can still deliver a great meal to a couple of self-professed foodies.

Excellent Food Amazing Seafood
This was my first time to this restaurant. I didn't personally know anyone who had eaten here but I got a recomendation from opentable and was in a mood to try something new. First, I was on King street when I was making the reservations through open table and was able to reserve a timeslot that was only 15mins away. When we got to the restaurant, the staff was very nice and accomodating. I ordered surf and turf. The crab cake was very well flavored and excellent. The fillet just melted in my mouth. The sauces they paired the fillet and crab cake with was so good i had to refrain from licking the plate. My husband order a stuffed lobster dish . The lobster was huge and stuffed with crabmeat crawfish scallops and shrimp. Just excellent.

Nice find on King Street
I've lived in DC most of my adult life. Although I don't get to Old Town all that often, over the years I've been there dozens of times. I typically avoid the King St. restaurants, thinking them "touristy." Not so with the Warehouse. The food was solid and worth the slightly above average price. The waitstaff started out excellent but then got slammed as the evening wore on. I could see that they were professional but just understaffed. My salmon special was one of the best I've had in the DC area, which is not quite known for fish. Everyone else in our party of four was also very happy. We'll be back.
11/22/2013 4:00:00 PM
I had the she-crab soup and a barbeque sandwich. It was a lot of food and it was excellent. This is a really refined space - not at all what I had imagined from the name. Service was good and we got lucky on the parking.
11/28/2013 4:00:00 PM
we go there often for brunch and lunch. Very fresh and friendly. I don't know any of the famous people where are caricaturized on the wall, but you may. Tried the special (lobster cobb salad in a crunchy shell), which was lots of food and flavorful. Also had the penne pasta with fresh chilled scallop, crab and shrimp. Also ordered the alligator stew as a starter. Lots of tomato and tender meat. Grabbed a piece of lightly fried and tasty catfish, served of course with crunchy fries. They will accomodate requests, big groups, and have been there for years.
11/30/2013 4:00:00 PM
The excellently prepared meal notwithstanding, the service was impeccable. We had a great meal and the service was spot on and balanced.. We will certainly do it again..

Our go to place to take company
Quality place. Diverse flavorful menu. Linen table clothes and napkins. Ask for the front room so you can look out the window at Old Town.

King Street Delight
We go to Warehouse every year to have breakfast before attending the Alexandria Scottish walk. It never disappoints. We had two excellent breakfasts/brunches (steak and eggs and eggs with hash) in a lovely restaurant at a table for two looking out as the world went by on King Street. An absolute delight. Don't let the name throw you off. This is not a warehouse, or the typical bar and grill.
12/6/2013 4:00:00 PM
My husband and i went to Warehouse Bar and Grill for our anniversary dinner. The food is always great here. The menu has a lot of seafood dishes with a southern or cajun flair. LIke gumbo, cajun catfish, etc. There are also a lot of steak dishes. My husband had the wasabi crusted salmon special with crab imperial. He loved it. I had crawfish etoufee and it was good. It is better at their sister restaurant RT's. The she crab soup was really good as were my husband's fried oyster appetizer. The service was very good. The restaurant is a nice place for date night or a small group.

Always a wonderful dinner
We have been coming here for a few years. We stumbled upon it the night of our engagement. And the icing on the cake, they carry a sparkling wine that we love. We have been coming back every year for our anniversary since then. The food is always amazing. I would suggest a reservation on a Saturday night. It was quite crowded when we went.
