My second visit to Zink Kitchen
My second visit to Zink Kitchen was as enjoyable as the first visit. The food and service are outstanding!

Great service. I don't think I got a great impression of the overall menu based on the salad that I had, so I am looking forward to going back and trying something else.

We had dinner here on a snowy night after a big storm hit all day. The restaurant only had about 5 tables which we tied to the storm keeping people in. Our server was very good and offered great suggestions for what we should order. We were quite impressed with the quality and were able to get in and out in just over an hour with a group of 6. With appetizers, entrees, bottles of wine and drinks the price was reasonable. Its in an odd location tucked back behind the Double Tree hotel but well worth the price of a sitter and a night away. We will be back!

This restaurant is truly a gem, and it exceeded all of our expectations. We live nearby and are always looking for restaurants offering good value for money. This place certainly delivered. The portions are large, and the food is fresh and perfectly executed. It is obvious that the chef puts a great deal of heart and soul into his cooking. In addition, the service is friendly and attentive, and the place is spotlessly clean. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. We will definitely return and likely soon.

I found this place very inviting.
I found this place very inviting. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Food was very good, especially the Teres Steak dish. Quiet enough that you could hear each other without talking loudly. A hidden gem that I will go back to.

We had a very good meal. I had the veggie burger served with a nice side salad which was excellent. My friend had the chicken Caesar which was huge. Could have easily been split. For dessert, they brought us a complimentary birthday (with candle) "deconstructed" Key Lime pie which was fabulous! Wait staff is personable and very attentive, although there weren't too many people in the restaurant for lunch at that time. I would go again.

This gem is hidden in the lower level of the Double Tree hotel and offers a unique and delicious seasonal menu. If you not staying at the hotel, enter through the west side and avoid the indoor pool.

Perfect for foodies
This was our first time to Zink. We really enjoyed the creative menu and friendly, professional staff. The menu is very intricate and sophisticated, so really take your time ordering and asking the waiter for assistance. We had the Vietnamese chicken in the clay pot, the veal steaks and the prosciutto wrapped prawns. The veal portion was a little small, but the others were wonderful. The salads were very big even after splitting them. The free form key lime pie defies description, the next time I'm stuck on I-25, I'm running in there to order one for the road. It is absolutely delicious.

Wow is about the first thing that comes to mind. It is not a place you would drive by and find since it is tucked away beneath and behind a hotel but wow! I read the reviews and wanted to try it. The small plate to start was the heirloom tomato plate. It had lightly fried tomatos, onions, mozzerella and pesto. The flavors were incredible. We had the Vietnamese Chicken Clay Pot and the Teres Major steak and they were really good. The green beans were a little too spicy for me. And to finish, the de-constructed German Chocolate Cake. You just have to try that. It is just what it says, all the ingredients but not put together. One of the best desserts I have ever had. You have to try this place. The service was just excellent.

Great food & Excellent service
Teres Major Steak melts in your mouth. Refreshing watermelon mojito sorbet. Quiet and great for quiet dinner.

Adventurous Chef & Great Staff
I have dined here about 6 times total, both for lunch and for dinner. The food is interesting and well prepared. The menu changes with the seasons. The winter menu brussel sprouts are a special treat. The chicken Caesar salad is one of the best I've ever had. It's a great place to dine with a large group or a several friends.

Mother's day Brunch
Our family went to Zink Kitchen + Bar for Mother's Day Brunch. The food was very good and the staff was very attentive. The only issue we all had was the price. Even though the price was the industry standard and the food was worth the price. I called ahead and the hostess or whoever answered the phone said they were not doing a special Mother's Day Brunch, so I sort of expected the price to be the same as the regular brunch. Once we sat down and walked through the food items we knew this was a special and that the price would be adjusted as such. Just would have been nice to have a heads up when I called the truth would have been nice to know.

Food is deceiving !
If you look at the plate it's hard to believe you're in a doubletree hotel (and a slightly dated one at that), look around the decor works hard to make you forget the same but the tell tale seating and a few minor aspects still show through.
The food however is well on its way, we sampled a large number of small plates and a salad and all were very good, we had very little negative feedback to give.
The dishes are interesting, well presented and tasty. As far as small plates go I would say these are on the big side, many tapas places lately seem to take tasting to a new level and scrimp on the portions, not at Zink, we were very satisfied with portions but still managed to force the deconstructed key lime pie down (delicious).

It's a Mystery
The food is fantastic!!! No waiting. I can't believe this place isn't crowded to overflowing. It is a little hidden away. Prices are affordable especially considering the high quality.

Nice find in DTC
Great little restaurant. There is a back entrance to the hotel (with the Zink sign) that lets you walk right in without having to go through any hotel. The breakfast buffet on the weekends is excellent and includes omelets and waffles.
My wife isn't a big fan of buffets, but she loves to get their salmon locks breakfast. yummm!

was nice to be able to escape work and talk. Wait staff was awesome, very attentive.

Dining at Zink Kitchen and Bar
The staff were the best I have ever seen. They kept my water and coffee filled and that does not often happen. The food was great, the croissants to die for and the staff were very helpful. Very few if any French restaurants in the Denver area could compare to their croissants. The chef make the over medium eggs just right and the staff served them immediately.
The buffet was very good and tastefully presented. I like a quiet restaurant in the morning and this was great. The atmosphere friendly but intimate. The acoustics in some restaurants remind me of sports stadiums. Zink's was just perfect.
On another note, the restaurant was clean and neat, the food prices reasonable, and the lighting comfortable. Definitely a new favorite.

I did not know what to expect going into a Doubletree Hotel for this restaurant. Wow what pleasant surprise. The food was outstanding. The service from the moment we stepped in was nice and very accommodating. I will be going back and telling friends.

Tyler was our waiter and provided great service! We had the smoked chicken enchiladas and the salmon and both were great! I'm really not a salmon fan, but this was terrific! Lamb rib appetizers were also very good...carrot cake dessert was average. While the hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, the decor and ambience inside were very nice. Great food, fantastic service...we'll be back!

Hidden DTC Gem
We had a group dinner here for a work team travelling into Denver from all over the country. At first we were skeptical because this restaurant was built into a hotel. Secondly, we were skeptical because we were the only people there (granted, it was only 4p on a Tuesday.)
However, the staff was friendly, the bar drinks were very reasonable... and then we were seated for dinner. The menu was very diverse, but everyone loved their food. Someone tried the flatbread pizza since the open-flame oven was visible from our table. Someone else tried the Vietnamese clay pot. Several people had the smoked chicken enchiladas. I had two of the small plates. No one walked away hungry and the bill was very reasonable.
I will return with my wife soon.

Great Food, Innovative Menu!
This was our first visit to Zink. Tucked away in a suburban hotel, we likely would not have tried it without a hearty recommendation (which we had). Our party got four different entrees - all very creative, yet not too "out there" - and all were delicious, well-crafted and presented beautifully. The poached white fish in chili oil, the wild boar sausage, the Scottish salmon, the BBQ pork mac-n-cheese, the Thai chicken soup and the spicy chicken meat ball appetizer were all exceptional. The server was very knowledgeable and personable. The noise level was such that we could converse without any problem in spite of a hearing impairment in our group. This is an excellent dining option in the Denver Tech Center area. We will return.

Surprise in a hotel
The tomato appetizer was delicious. And my Cobia, a lovely white fish, was cooked just right. Super friendly staff but not over the top.
A very pleasant surprise in a doubletree hotel. My husband had steak with good flavor but it was a bit undercooked however the green beans were delicious..

Absolutely no negatives
We were only one of 3 or 4 occupied tables on a sunday which I sure had a favorable effect on the service and noise level. The ambiance was in extremely good taste, the food very good, the food presentation beautiful, the portion size more then adequate and the prices very reasonable especially considering the quality.

Not Your Everyday Fare
Found this place through Open Table, and we were glad we made the effort. The only downer was that it was a pretty quiet spot on an early Friday, so would have been nice to have a bit more "vibe" But aside from that, the menu provides some non-standard dishes such as a Korean meatballs with Kimchee appetizer which we found really tasty (especially with that touch of cilantro). It was also refreshing to see a little less markup on wine than usual - and the overall prices were reasonable as well. Great service too - and I'd highly recommend the deconstructed German chocolate cake ice cream for dessert. Overall a great dine. I think we'll bring some friends next time.

We were pleasantly surprised
We were pleasantly surprised by this hidden restaurant. I made the reservation because it was 1,000 points and it was a great find. My husband ordered the mac and cheese with pork and it was delicious! I will be ordering it for myself next time we go. I got the whitefish which was a touch too spicy for my taste. We shared a cobb salad which was very good. They also have my favorite wine which was a nice bonus!
We will definitely be back soon.

Quite a nice surprise. Food
Quite a nice surprise. Food was excellent -- try the Greek egg rolls as an appetizer. Great spare ribs, flat bread, chick pea salad. All done with a nice twist.

Thanksgiving at the Zink
Just the two of us for Thanksgiving, so its simpler to eat out than cook. Zink's prepared a great meal with items we usually don't get. Turkey was succulent and tasty with sweet potatoes, soup, and dessert. All in all a great deal!
11/27/2013 4:00:00 PM
We came in to Denver to spend Thanksgiving days with family from Toronto. Saw Zinks online and booked. Food and service met and exceeded all expectations. If going to Denver again, would go back.

I shall return
First time visit and enjoyed it completely. The Thanksgiving meal was excellent with very good service. Holiday offerings are not part of the regular menu, but I an eager to return based on the excellent meal we were served.
