Came here as we wanted to
Came here as we wanted to try Elk steak. The waitress was extremely helpful in explaining the best way for it to be cooked. It was delicious. One of our table had the hot fudge chocolate brownie sundae and talked about it was days saying it was the best he had tasted. Very enjoyable evening.

My dining experience couldn't have been better! The service was impeccable and every dish we ordered was superb. The quiet atmosphere was the best part. If you're looking for a place where you can enjoy conversation as well as the food, this is it.

The food was great, the atmosphere
The food was great, the atmosphere was a little dark for where this place is located. It felt a little closed in. I would go back again anyway.

My family went here for Father's Day so my dad could get him a good steak while visiting the area. Everyone but myself ordered a steak, which I thought I made a bad choice. The trout was fantastic! Dad ordered the ribeye with a chimichurri on top, which he claimed to be one of the best steaks he has had in a very long time. This is saying a LOT coming from him. Each my brother and mother also believed that their dish was better than everyone else's, but I don't think you can make a wrong choice. The waitress and hostess were very good at making recommendations.

melts in your mouth
As visitors to the Jackson Hole area, we wanted to try the locally known restaurants. The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar was mentioned repeatedly as a historic site that offered great food. We were intrigued by the decor of the restaurant and bar, with the knobby pine wood accents. We were also surprised to be seated in the basement of the building. However, it was a quiet venue with excellent, friendly service. The menu was more sophisticated than we had expected and offered many great selections. Being in a steakhouse, we had to go with the steak. One person tried the trout and found it delicious. The bread and spreads brought before the meal were different and very good. But the steaks were EXCEPTIONAL! We would definitely return.

Their steaks are awesome. I had beef and my husband had elk and they both slap your mama good! Would go back in a heart beat!
I had a "cherry lime-aide" that if I hadn't known there was alcohol in it - I would have had more. The bar upstairs is worth walking thru just to see. The bars tools are saddles. Loved it all!

Good food but busy and loud
We had some interesting and very good small plates for dinner, which worked out great since we were not looking for large dinners. Good thing, too, since most of the entrees were $30 to $50. Good wine list. Not sure how the price ratings on OpenTable are set, but this shoudl be a $$$$ not the $$ that shows up on OpenTable. Service was very good. There was a long wait, but we booked a table though OpenTable an hour before we went and avoided the wait.

Wonderful Birthday Dinner
I searched through the local dining guide and decided on the Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse. I was not disappointed. Bernie was a FANTASTIC waiter. As a former server, I was extremely impressed with his service. He even gave us the inside scoop on a great winter deal. The meal itself was outstanding. I had the special-Buffalo tenderloin. It was cooked to perfection. My date ordered the ribeye. Both came with delectable sauces. We ordered them on the side. While the sauces were amazing, the steaks were seasoned wonderfully. After dinner we went upstairs to the bar. Again, great service. The Million Dollar Cowboy is a must for anyone rolling through town.

Elk filet was outstanding, but get the huckleberry sauce on the side.

Not our first trip...
... won't be our last. Not a cheap date, but ideal for a special night out, local flavor(s), memories of a good time. It was my wife's birthday, I ordered flowers (thru OpenTable) and they were on our table when we were seated... the waiter (Bernie) acknowledged her birthday, and provided great but not overbearing service throughout the meal.

Great Cowboy Place
This place offers a great food experience. The only disturbing thing was that the gratuity is already included on the bill. After some good food and a long day at Grand Teton we didn´t check properly and added more gratuity, as there was an option to do so on the CC bill. More than 35% gratuity: Good for the waiter, quiet disturbing for us! So check your bill carefully!

Went there for dinner on a saturday night. While it was busy, as they had wedding parties there, the food and service was fantastic. We both had the buffalo potroast, which was amazing.

Don't think twice just go!
The food was amazing. My husband had the cowboy ribeye and it was the best he's had so far (he orders it whenever it's on the menu). I had the buffalo stew and it was so tender and just delightful. The Oysters Rockefeller were superb as well. Even the bread and smoked trout cream cheese were great! If you are looking for an excellent dining experience, GO!
