Last of a Good thing
This was the last place I ever ate with the love of my life (now ex... so sad) It will always have a special place in my heart. We came up for a weekend in Baltimore, drank moonshine in the hotel, and found this little gem. The neighbor is awesome cobblestone streets, lots of energy, just fanastic. The food here was even better! You can't go wrong.

Adela's impresses again :)
Another enjoyable evening at Adela! The cocktail list is great - everyone had something different and we all enjoyed them very much! The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is great for a romantic evening or a get together with friends. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

As always, the food was great-
As always, the food was great- i highly recommend the crispy artichokes. Ambiance was ehhh; we had a party of five & they shoved two tables together that didn't fit and it distanced one of the guests from the conversation & food sharing. They were out of multiple types of beer which annoyed the men in our group. The person calling the food & directing staff was REALLY loud and it was incredibly distracting.
I love Adela & will go back again, but I do not recommend sitting in the back room, as it doesn't reflect the chill ambiance & sophistication that we go there for.

One of my favorite restaurants
One of my favorite restaurants in Baltimore! Delicious and unique food, outstanding sangria, and great service!

More bread please
My friends and I went there to celebrate 2 birthdays. The food was great. Tapas are great especially with bread. There were 5 in our party. Why the waiter did not bring us at least 5 slices of bread each time was beyond us because we kept having to ask for bread. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Three of my friends came into
Three of my friends came into town from NYC and we had a blast. The service was kind and very attentive. We stayed at our table until most of the restaurant was empty and they didn't rush us a bit. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for good food and service in a trendy atmosphere.

Food & Sangria Excellent!!
We had a great experience at Adela. Although we had to wait for our table (we had a 7:30 res and weren't seated until 8pm) it didn't bother us to wait at the bar and enjoy some delicious sangria. It is a very vibrant atmosphere and everything on the menu was delicious. We were a party of 6 and sharing the tapas was a lot of fun. I would not recommend this type of restaurant for those who do not like to share :) Overall, it was fabulous and will definitely be back. It does get crowded, so be patient and enjoy the scene.

Small plates with big flavor
We had the Adela steak , shrimp , corn cakes, pork on flat bread all great! Mussels and chicken confit were ok nothing to order again . Service was prompt and friendly. Sangria and Malbec were grest too. A place to visit more than once. Couples or small groups will enjoy this place .

Beautiful place, wonderful food!
I was pleasantly surprised! I had never tried a Tapas restaurant before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I thought it was very reasonably priced! I decided to be adventurous and try some new things, and I loved all of it! The food was delicious and came out quickly. The staff was very friendly, and the décor and atmosphere were just beautiful. I would definitely recommend Adela to anyone looking for a unique and entirely enjoyable dining experience!

Great food, great service, what more could you ask for? I dined here on a rainy night, but drove by the next morning on the way to brunch, and it seems like dining outside would be nice.

Small Plates - Big Flavors
Everything that came to the table was delicious. Here you can be adventurous and confident that you'll enjoy whatever the kitchen sends out.

We were looking for a place to dine with outside seating and remembered we tried Adela in the winter time and...VOILA! location chosen. Table outside was comfortable and the food was great...we'll definitely be back.

Exactly What We Hoped For
This restaurant is a great place to get together for a romantic evening. We requested an outside table and the table was reserved for us when we arrived. From start to finish, the wine, food, and service were excellent. Even for a busy Friday night, the staff were friendly and attentive to everything we requested. The food alone is worth the price, everything else was a sweet addition to the night.

Good food, service needs work.
If you can, when the weather is nice... Get a table in the private outdoor back courtyard. It's beautiful and quiet compared to the rest of the place. Service was erradic and then when the food came, 6 tapas courses were all served on the table at one time which was very odd. Overall, everything we ate was good. Dinner for two with tip and wine will set you back $140-150. The pork belly was exquisite. Enjoy.

The best of old and new baltimore
Adela is one of my favorite baltimore restaurants. Tucked away on quaint cobblestone st in historic fells point, this neighborhood find offers tapas (though not small one bite plates, but plates that can be shared). We always try many things. Great cool gazpacho, salmon, short rib flatbread to die for, ahi tuna, potatoes with a kicky spicy sauce, crabcakes of course. You get the idea!! Try to sit outside or get a window table . Then get ice cream across the street and walk the fells point neighborhood. We are locals but great spot for tourists looking to love baltimore. Oh, almost forgot. Start with a cocktail w muddled fruit. Love adela!!! Thanks tracy.

We visited Adela while staying in the Fells Point section of Baltimore. What a great find! We've had tapas before in the North Jersey area but this was better. The hostess explained we should order one or two small plates to start. Once we determined the size portions and how hungry we were we could continue to keep ordering a few at a time as none took long to prepare. Sipping good wine and pacing our dinner was a great treat! We tried a little of every menu category and weren't disappointed. My only regret is that this restaurant is a 3 hour drive away. We will definitely return next time we are in Baltimore.

Meet the New Boy Lunch
We arrived early for the Big Event and were invited inside by the lovely host (in spite of his being slightly slowed-down by a walking cast) as he arranged for additional umbrellas for sidewalk seating. Once seated outside, we were delighted to have Omar as our server, having enjoyed his service on our inaugural visit to Tapas Adela over a year ago. The white wine sangria was garnished with pear cubes and delicious; the lunch and brunch entrees were piping-hot; and extra utensils allowed us to share an array of desserts. Our family LOVES Tapas Adela for special events and I suspect that our daughter in Brewers Hill will enjoy leaving the convenience of O'Donnell Square for the great of Tapas Adela!

A gem amid the chaos
Went during crazy Restaurant Week yet our great waitress did a fabulous job of keeping us happy and delivering great food even as she was pulled in a 100 directions - Kudos

Tasty tapas, sour service
The food was very nice. My boyfriend and I love tapas and these serving sizes are made to share. Highly recommend the steak Adela. The veggie flatbread was basic but okay. Outside seating provides interesting people watching when the weather is nice. Lighting was adequate after the sun goes down.
The only downfall to Adela was the service. The servers were unobtrusive and quick. But the waiter was bored and sour, barely looked at us while taking our orders.

great date night
My boyfriend and I had an awesome stay-cation in Baltimore. We chose Adela for dinner as neither of us had ever bee. What a wonderful surprise - for dinner we chose several small plates and had plenty to eat. Our server was fabulous!!!

Love this place!
We were greeted by a beautiful smiling hostess, didn't feel rushed,& our server wasn't a car salesman. The suggestions were genuine, and spot on! The veggie hummus was delicious, the crabcakes were all crabmeat, and the scallops to die for! The portion sizes are much larger than that of other tapas restaurants, and we left full. We had a perfectly crafted vodka gimlet, and negroni. The wine list was expansive and true to the Spanish spirit. There's absolutely nothing like this around town. A DJ started playing, so we decided to cocktail a bit longer and really enjoyed the vibe as the restaurant changed into a hip cocktail lounge! I almost thought I was back in DC at one of the posh lounges on NW Connecticut. Great time! We'll be back!

Rain Didn't Dampen the Fun
We were in Baltimore for a visit and took the water taxi over to Fells Point. While it rained and rained the entire time, we did manage to find this wonderful restaurant amid the hub bub of this very energetic area. The food was very good (small plates) but the service (including the bar staff) were warm and friendly and very inviting - the kind of people that make you want to come back to a place. And we will. We sampled a little of everything but the highlight was the scallops. I'd definitely recommend them.

nIght out with the Hubby
i really enjoyed my early dinner at Adela. it was a last minute dinner idea to celebrate my husband's birthday. I chose to sit outside to enjoy the weather and to people watch since it in the heart of Fells Point. My husband wasn't expecting the small plates but i think he was satisfied afterwards. we were able to have a little bit of this and a little bit of that and I LOVE that. he did order 2 plates of the scallops- tha's how good they were to him. We also had the white Sangria. We ordered a picther and it was delicious.

Great food & ambience
I love the food here, and consider it one of my favorite restaurants. I often come here after watching soccer matches around the corner at a pub, and I consider this a great place for both lunch and dinner.
Inside, there's a romantic ambiance in the side room, a nice open atmosphere at the bar, and a great back patio where you can sit outside but in a quiet setting. The back patio is a great place for dates!
I chose to sit on the front sidewalk this time, and it was great. My friend and I enjoyed the people-watching and sat for a few hours. We had the Estrella beer, a fantastic light and fruity Spanish beer. Definitely worth a try! The sangria is superb, too.

funky and classy
I enjoyed the dinner very much. The scallops were outstanding, the crab was outstanding, though some in our party thought that too many items used and/or overused the white drizzly cheese sauce. Maybe the sauce should have been on the side. The ambiance was cool. Funky and classy at the same time. I would eat there again.
10/4/2013 5:00:00 PM
Nice but really noisy
Some carefully sound deaden foam place on the ceiling in various spots would make the sound travel less. From our table we were able to hear conversations from tables 25 feet away perfectly clear.
10/11/2013 5:00:00 PM
Great time! Went back to try their new fall menu. I fell in love with the potato green onion soup! Our meal was so good, and we were impressed the chef came out to some tables to personally deliver food and ask if we were enjoying everything. A huge birthday party was being celebrated in the main area, so it wasn't a quiet night-but nearly everyone looked like a model-and they were fun and friendly! We finished up with a drink in the lounge. The dessert martinis the bartender suggested were de-lish! I think this is my new spot.

Love to Eat in Baltimore
What a find! Beautiful small intimate restaurant. Attentive wait staff. Unique delicious Spanish cuisine. Love the small plates as we were able to try a lot. The salmon was cooked to perfection and I've become an expert on grilled calamari and it was the best I've ever had. They have a good wine selection with great recommendations if you're not sure how to navigate the Spanish selections. Definitely a must try Fells Point hot spot with lots of nice shopping nearby. Prices seemed in line with other comparable restaurants and with the small plates you have the opportunity to eat on a budget if need be. They offer valet but it was not necessary as we easily found street parking.
11/10/2013 4:00:00 PM
We treated ourselves to a night out. We've done the small plate dinners in Annapolis, Alexandria and New York. This place had an excellent vibe, service was excellent, food was great , overall we were pleased.

Just moved to Fells Point. Ate dinner two weeks ago with one son, and had a great meal. Then ate again there this past week by myself. Great again. My other son was in town for Thanksgiving, so took him there this weekend. Three for three...another great meal. Great, attractive crowd. Awesome bar staff (ate at the bar all three times) - attentive, professional, friendly, warm. I'm a big tapas fan, and I love Adela.
