As always, the food at WineSellar Brasserie was excellent, the wine list extensive. I chose a Pinot from Sea Smoke. It was a great match to my Salmon (75% markup from list price, to be expected from a restaurant)
It was quiet, with service that watched what I needed. Nothing delivered too fast for me (reading).
A favored place of mine for many years.

Incredibly consistent, with very high qulity food and good service. Whatever you do, make sure you do NOT try their bread...totally addictive!!

Still a gem
Great place to taste wines paired with excellent cuisine. Rabbit sausage (among others) was incredibly good!

We love this restaurant for
We love this restaurant for it's quiet atmosphere, great food and wonderful wine. It's a real gem in an unexpected location. We had the chef's tasting menu with accompanied wines for our anniversary diner and were very happy with our dinner. The seared scallops appetizer, the flat iron steak, and chocolate "cake" were just perfect.

An adventure in dining
Tucked away obscurely in what is essentially a business park, this restaurant is a hidden gem for Foodies and wine lovers. The Wine Seller restaurant has a superb menu and fabulous service (all servers are exceptionally knowledgeable about the wines). The lower level is just a wine shop - well not just - an incredible wine shop. There is now an informal brasserie as well. But upstairs there is a cozy little restaurant. Not a lot of tables so reserve well in advance for Fridays and Saturdays.
Great place for business dinners.

The best duck dinner ever! With a savory risotto steeped in vegetable goodness.

Simply the best
Hands down this is the best restaraunt in San Diego. We are never let down by the menu, wine list, or service.

This was such an unexpected delight - much better than even anticipated! Five great Spanish wines for tasting and generous pours on them, then a fantastic lunch of roast lamb with a killer sauce and crisp steamed veggies, and the desserts - the desserts were awesome - my party tasted four of them and they were all tremendous. We got excellent, personable table service and the ambiance was nicely elegant. I will definitely be returning for this again!

We went for their Saturday special, Halibut. Everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented; the halibut was delicious and the vegetables were sill crunchy. We also ordered the Shaved Brussel Sprouts - Yum! Never had brussel sprouts like that before - more like a salad with parmesan, garlic and lemon dressing - it was so good and enough to share. The flight of wine was a nice complement to our meal. Of course, we had to have chocolate for dessert so we could finish the two red wines! Portion sizes were good, just the right amount. We will difinitely come back.

The restaurant and wine shop
The restaurant and wine shop are well hidden, in the middle of an industrial area. The concept of choosing the wine you'll be served is a fun experience. The food was good but for the price it should have been excellent. The two best things were the service and the home baked bread!

odd location for a great meal
This is such an odd, unknown location for such a great meal, but it continually surprises me and my clients as a virtually unknown, out of the way, quiet restaurant with a great wine list and great food. The service is impeccable. I think they just love what they do and it shows. Will come back again and again each time I am close by.

Delicious as always
This place is a gem, whether for a business lunch/dinner, or a romantic evening, this place is among the best! Very weird location, which has become one of its trademarks. Sadly, they have limited days they're open for lunch. Wine list is of course amazing.

Great food in an unexpected place
Great food. Great service. The perfect place for a quick lunch in the Mira Mesa, Sorrento Valley area. I highly recommend it.

An excellent experience
I always enjoy coming here. It's quiet, very clean and the meal lived up to my expectations. Not even Morton's can serve up a most tender and flavorful filet. The service could use a little tweaking, but overall it was a wonderful culinary experience. Thank you.

Amazing dining night
This was one of many times at Wine Sellars. Having lived in San Diego I make it a point of taking an evening in this lovely restaurant and great wine shop. They did not deceive. Wonderful dinner for 2. Outstanding tuna tartare and brussel sprouts were energizing appetizers. The duck leg confit and NZ venison were out of this world. Wine recommendations were perfect. And then, always the pleasure to shop for wines one will not find on the East Coast.

Frequent diner - keeps going back
We are frequent diners at the Brasserie; our favorite is the Wine Tastings on Saturday.

I went especially for the
I went especially for the venison and I was not disappointed. The duck my wife enjoyed was also perfectly done. If it were not for it's location, this place would be packed every night.
