In the Guggenheim Museum,
In the Guggenheim Museum, but accessible from 5th Ave without going to the Museum. Artful, beautifully presented, delicious, offbeat creations.
Shrimp risotto was disappointing; Crab cakes fabulous, eggplant/red peppers/goat cheese appetizer wonderful - like nothing I've ever tasted.
Wise to have reservations as the restaurant is not very large.
Great service. Prices reasonable for the setting and food quality.

We had the Sunday Brunch and
We had the Sunday Brunch and it didn't disappoint! The pastries and jams were very good as starters and overall we were happy with our meal. The decor mirrors the Guggenheim and it is a perfect place to start before taking a tour.

we had brunch this past Sunday.
we had brunch this past Sunday. the waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and respectful. Great food and friendly atmosphere in a nice setting. We had tried brunch there a couple of years ago and had enjoyed it also back then.

The decor was minimalistic
The decor was minimalistic without being too cold. We had brunch there and the food and presentation was very good. Would definitely go back there again.

kind of odd texture to beet
kind of odd texture to beet salad but zucchini tagliatelle was DELISH and addictive! Breads not so fresh, so save room for green tea brulee. prix fixe good value.

Keep it simple....
We were going to the Guggenheim then lunch. My friends said, "Keep it simple." Ok, next door seemed simple enough. What a happy surprise to discover that this restaurant is anything but simple. Amazing service right from the front door. Interesting, creative menu. Food beautifully presented and filled with complex and delicious flavors. Highly recommend the eggplant, goat cheese terrine! Delicious! Overall, simply fabulous!

Modern vibe, elegant, delicious small portions, convenient to museum. Great for lunchesMushroom risotto was memorable, but the chicken paillard was a bit dry. .also great for brunches, but remember to make a reservation. Happy to have this in the neighborhood.

Ideal when visiting the Guggenheim. Very crisp, clean mod restaurant. Sophisticated menu, well prepared and presented. One problem, the manager should speak up for his clients when todlers are shouting, and running around this high end restaurant.

Sreaming child and inept manager
The food was great, white serene room.
Howling banshee of a child was let to go at full force yodelf
For entire meal. Managment never politley asked to mother to take the child outside. Ruined it for all others dining. Could not wait to get the peircing sound out of my ears.

Nice set priced menu
It is a lovely spot for a great lunch before/after viewing the exhibitions in the Museum. The price is reasonable for the a la carte as well. You can get a 10% discount card from the museum to redeem 10% at the restaurant. However, there is a current expiry date till Aug 31.

Perfect lunch at the Guggenheim
No better place to have lunch if you're visiting the Guggenheim. Relaxing, convenient, and delectable. Very civilized! The crab cakes were some of the best I've ever had!

The Wright was never wrong!
We enjoyed the food and service immensely. The wine by the glass was excellent and every dish we ate was prepared perfectly. The cheese platter with warm raison bread at the end of the meal was very enjoyable.

Most excellent for museum food
Five stars for what it is; fine food at a museum around which there are very few restaurants. Service was cheerful and accommodating (they were aware of our gluten-free needs and added some of their wonderful sauterne-poached peach to a salad on our request). This does not come cheaply. Lunch for two with a couple of glasses of wine tax/tip topped $100. The very attractive space is small and as a consequence quite noisy . Overall a great start to our visit to the Guggenheim.

Great time on Monday. And our granddaughter loved it. Good architecture as well.

Better than Expected
We eat at The Wright since we were at the Guggenhiem. It was a good lunch...poor wine selection.

A small, quiet excellent experience surrounded by great art. The prices are even reasonable.

I'd seen an article on world architecture news about the new fit out a while back and wanted to check out The Wright next time we were in NYC. Great space. Not huge - so book if you want to go and probably suits groups 6 max. Excellent brunch. Excellent service. Put us in a fine mood for enjoying the museum.

Upscale Museum Cafe
The Wright is a small but modern and attractive cafe next to the Guggenheim Museum. The menu is upscale, the prices are reasonable and the food presentation is attractive. The tables are very closely spaced, so don't expect privacy if if it's crowded.
At 11:00 am on Sunday Sept, it was very pleasant and not at all crowded.

FOOD WAS WONDERFUL IN A LOVELY PLEASANT ENVIRONMENT FOR
LUNCH. SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD AND UN-RUSHED.

A surprise find
The Wright is the Guggenheim Museum's restaurant so I wasn't really expecting outstanding food, but our lunch was excellent - lobster risotto and seared tuna - cooked to perfection.
Would definitely recommend anyone to book for lunch.

Thanks the wright!
My girlfriend and I went to " the wright this past sunday." We had a reservation at 11;30. The restaurant design is very nice. The atmosphere was friendly. The food was delicious but in a very small portion. It is a biy pricey but worth a try. The service was robotic and professional with not a lot if friendly talks.

Gem of history
The design of The Wright is awesome. Food and service were great.

great portions great price
the portions are normal not huge fridays portions. The prices for eating at NYC are reasonable if you are a turist then you may consider it a little price depends on your previous dining experience. the place, looks and service were awsome

visiting NYC from UK
lovely meal with pleasant service, my 14 yo daughter made to feel comfortable as well
sweet potato soup excellent, lobster risotto very good
pumpkin soufflé looked lowly, but not so sure I'd order it again, but when in US must try pumpkin dishes at halloween!

An artistic lunch
I wanted to treat a young friend to lunch and this was perfect. Interesting food as creative as the art in the museum. Small portions but very satisfying as the combination of flavors worked. The chicken with potato rosti and baby brussels sprouts was excellent. Glad we shared the starter as the terrine was tiny but the salad generous. The creme brulee perfect and the little dessert cookies were fun. The cocktails made the lunch really special! Not cheap (over $130 for two with wine and coffee). Disappointed with the ambience though as I remembered the old restaurant which was elegant, quiet dining. The acoustics made it a little noisy which I was not expecting. We were late for the reservation but they were fine about it.

an artistic and gastronomic delight
One always expects an uptown museum restaurant to be a beautifully presented affair. However as they draw a crowd simply by affiliation to an institution, they don't necessarily have to have commendable food or service. The Wright had it all and then some.
The gorgeous all white room makes its interesting patrons, boldly hued cocktails and delectable menu offerings pop out automatically. This makes the scene all the more vibrant. The service was impeccable, attentive and friendly. The food phenomenal. The butternut squash soup poured out of a tea kettle into a bowl of crushed pistachios on a baguette slice. The pumpkin ricotta soufflé blew my mind and the entire experience left a lasting impression.
