Who would know that a hotel
Who would know that a hotel restaurant could be so good. Unpretentious and comfortable with a great value for my dollar, I was much impressed. We will return, even from the east side.

Very good place to take foodies and
We really appreciate and enjoy the chef's efforts to use locaally raised foods. Everything was delicious. We tried several differnt things from all parts of the menu. We liked our wine selections and the bartender did a great job on our martinis.
We will definately return.

Interesting menu in that "farm
Interesting menu in that "farm to table" mentality exists. Three very different meals chosen - a salad and burger for one, chicken soup (rated as excellent) and salad the second, and fish with a side of broccolini the third. Requested they go light on the chili pepper for the broccolini - but I believe that didn't happen. I was able to tolerate the heat and liked the fact that this particular side was available. Portion size is small but adequate so that you don't feel stuffed at the end of the meal. No bread is served which also helps patrons not fill up on carbs.

Overall it was a great experience.
Overall it was a great experience. The panna cotta stole the show! We tried a good
portion of items apps, sm plates and large plates. Everything was well thought out, the
plating was nice and the portions were appropriate. My only complaint was there needed to
be a bit more sauce with the short rib and the shrimp were about a minute overdone. This
will not keep me from returning, it was a wonderful meal.

Birthday dinner delight
Coconut mussels with broth and rabbit spaetzle were outstanding. Walleye dish was a disappointment. Clam strips were a little hum drum for this menu. Coconut jumbo shrimp with apple kimchee slaw and coconut rice was quite good though the shrimp (3 jumbo for $21) were cooked a little too long. Pork sandwich was enjoyed but maybe you can bump up the price by a dollar and include the fries on the big plate and still call it a Large Bite. Sandwich was served on a big plate. Desserts were enjoyed by two dining partners: ice cream and chocolate mousse. Nothing to write home about. Lots to choose from on this menu. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely come back for those mussels!

Fabulous food and service
We went to the restaurant for lunch, after picking my daughter up from the airport. The menu is quite varied, focusing on farm-fresh and natural ingredients. We loved the appetizers and small plates, since it was lunch. There were numerous vegetarian dishes, each unique and quite tasty. My daughter's duck was exquisite. I plan to stop at the restaurant whenever we have to go to the airport and will probably make a special trip, just to the restaurant soon. Yum!

Food was excellent service
Food was excellent service was better. They even grow some of the food on a quarter acre in the back of the facility according to our waitress.

great food and desert. poor service
Hostes was very nice. first person to our table filled water glasses. she spoke so softly and with a accent that it was not possible to understand anything she said. Our waitress had no personality. she could not describe anything on the menu and when asked what are the top items on the menu she listed every item. She should be working at dennys with that kind of personality. At this level she should know what all the items are what they taste like, be able to describe them, and give a recommendation. Also this place is hardly cheap and the listing everything under $20 needs to be changed to under $30. My delmonico was $29 and then add another 9 to 11 for a salad. My steak and salad cost $40. Food and desert were great.

Put your trust in the Chef!
We both did the 6 course chef tasting menu. It was absolutely delicious. Everything was explained in great detail and they gave you plenty of time to enjoy it. Its truly something everyone should take a part of!

An excellent experience
It was a perfect place for a graduation celebration with immediate family. The food was very good and the server was pleasant. The dessert, however was not up to par with the main dishes. Overall it was a very good experience.

good choices but overpriced
Overall the food was decent. I had a peach salad with arugula that was too salty. THe only flavor was salt so I coudn't enjoy the beets and peaches in the salad. The bison tartar was much better. Very well seasoned. The service was good but a little slow considering the place was empty. Biggest thing is that the prices were a little high for the quality/amount of food we got. Dessert was pretty good.

Definitely worth every cent.
The food here is just amazing. We had five different plates while we were there. The Prime Rib, Large Shrimp, Charcuterie board, fries, and beat salad. The only complaint that we had is that the salad was a little on the salty side. Other than that amazing and we will be definitely going back. Because all the food is locally grown the offerings change from time to time based on what is in season. Will be going back later for their awesome corn soup. The one draw-back for restaurant is that is attached to the main lobby of the hotel. Allowing it to get a bit noisier at times and the restaurant loses a little ambience due to that.

Tried the tasting menu it was great and a lot of fun. Staff was very friendly and knowledgable.

Don't be fooled by the hotel!
I strongly recommend the chefs 4 or 6 course meal. The location is off, but I am convinced Chef Jeff is the most under-rated chef in the area!
8/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
The chef prepared a great tasting menu. The preparation and presentations were impressive.

Surprise restaurant by the airport
Good quality food, surprising menu with great variety. Particularly nice for a restaurant in the area near Clevelavd airport, where there are very few food options. Seems like a restaurant you would normally find in Ohio City or Lakewood, so it is a pleasant surprise.

Now that's more like it!
We had visited Amp150 a few years ago shortly after they opened and had a pretty lackluster time. Based on recent rave reviews we tried again and had an overwhelmingly wonderful dining experience. Excellent food and great service. Can't wait to go back.

AMP 150 is a hidden treasure
AMP 150 is a hidden treasure of sorts. Located in the 150th St. Marriott, we often neglect to think of it for dinner. However, we have not been disappointed. My wife has a number of dietary restrictions, and their chef is wonderfully accommodating without severely limiting the selection. Our food was excellent, the service was friendly.

Great night out
Food and service were great. Ambiance was great! I strongly recommend the chefs special as it gives the chef a chance to shine!

Another great meal
You have to go to this restaurant. Don't let the fact that is it in a Hotel steer you away. GREAT food and excellent service.

Amp 150 great place to eat
This was the second time we ate at Amp 150 and our server Michael server #404 was outstanding. He seemed to know when we needed something and was very personable and friendly. Also the food was great again.

Grilled shrimp was light and
Grilled shrimp was light and excellent; spinach salad also excellent. Mahi was overcooked, brussel sprouts were more a dessert than a side, drowned in a sweet sauce! Service just so-so. Given the good reviews we'd read, we were a bit disappointed overall.

Another good meal at AMP
Creative seasonal food w/ a menu that rotates based on the availability of ingredients is the theme here. So, the pumpkin soup and beet salad were big hits this visit. I had the shrimp and grits, which was tasty, but I had visited New Orleans not long before so my expectations were unrealistically high. I've dined at AMP several times. The food is always really good here. They take chances on the frequently changing menu and some pay off better than others, but as a foodie, I like that.

We love AMP 150!! They are our favorite restaurant anytime we have "date night". Their drinks are always interesting and we have never had a dish that we didn"t like.

I read the other reviews so I knew this place was in the lobby of the hotel, so it came as no surprise. actually, it felt a little like a vegas restaurant. Everything we ordered (bison tartar, duck salad, halibut, ribeye, and 2 desserts. There was a rissoto in there too) were great, but I thought everything needed more seasoning. Either salt of spice. Don't be put off by the black pepper icecream. It was a treat. I will be eating here again, and am sure I will enjoy it again.

Our 1st anniversary!
We celebrated our engagement at Amp 150 almost two years ago so it was a natural choice for our 1st wedding anniversary. I had mentioned this in the reservation notes so we were greeted at the door with congratulations and they let us sit in the same cozy booth.
We decided on the 6-course Chef's Choice menu. Our server Susan was wonderful in every way and we also met the head Chef Jeff, and Sous Chef Matt. We let them know we were adventurous foodies and to "go crazy" and they DID!
I just exceeded the review allotment trying to describe this wonderful meal! So I will be brief...
AMP150 is amazing, affordable and accessible to foodies and anybody else who loves great food. JUST GO!
And get the Panna Cotta for dessert, trust me on this.

Outstanding Menu in a Hotel Lobby
The shrimp and grits was an awesome dish with chunks of prosciutto or bacon in it. I got seared scallops and a deconstructed Philly small dish. Each dish was delicious and presented expertly. The wine list is also great.
This would have been more enjoyable had it not been in the lobby of the Marriott hotel, but even that couldn't detract from a wonderful dining experience. It certainly is head and shoulders above the other dining options in the airport area (which are mostly chain restaurants).

This is NOT a "hotel restaurant"
Do not be put off by the fact AMP is located in a Marriott. Lots of great restaurants across the country happen to be in unexpected places. The menu is creative, making excellent use of both local and seasonal ingredients. Preparation and presentation are first rate. Ask for Stephanie as your server, and you won't want your dinner to end - she is attentive, knowledgeable and pure joy to be around.

Love the menu
The beer menu is fabulous and the servers know every offering. The menu is varied, with speciality small plates a standout. We ordered about 10 small plates for four of us and finished all with delight and enthusiasm. Although located in a hotel, the open ambiance near the lobby was actually an attraction. This is a gem of a restaurant for foodies, with enough offerings for traditional eaters to keep them happy.

2nd Chance Makes Good
We invited friends to join us for Thanksgiving Dinner at the Amp 150. (Our first dining experience at the Marriott W 150.) Once at Amp 150 they shared a story about their bad experience at this hotel earlier in the year during a Cleveland Zoo event. Had we known we probably wouldn't have planned on dinner there with them. As it turned out, they (and we) were very impressed with Amp 150'sThanksgiving Dinner, the courteous staff and service. So this was a good experience for all.

Great opportunity to try new thing
Took our adult (not so adventurous) children for dinner. Overall, great experience for all of us. With the small plates and appetizers, I was able to convince them to try some new things like chicken liver pate, Brussels sprouts that tasted caramelized, and malt vinegar aioli with their french fries. We also tried the shrimp and grits and scallops small bites. Everything tasted fresh and was prepared to our requests.
For dessert, we tried three different flavors of their ice cream - peanut butter pretzel, a chocolate, and the black peppercorn. The peppercorn was my favorite.
Our server and our attendant were wonderful and attentive. Great dinner.

I needed a restaurant near the airport, so I came across this place. The atmosphere is similar to any hotel restaurant, but the food was quite a surprise.
I have been to most of the better restaurants in the area. This is one of the best menus in Cleveland. The food was prepared beautifully. I hope this chef stays in the area.
