Food was very good. I have had their burger multiple times and I'm never disappointed. Their lemon parm fries are also great! I wish they had a little more to choose from on the menu as it has seemed to shrink in choices since the move. The new building is beautiful has a lot more room. The beer is great, as always. I wish the prices were a tad lower so I could go more often!

I thought overall the brewery was great!!!! and I will go back often. The beer has gotten better and better. Our server was great, fish & chips delicious, the trout salad looked great (didn't taste it).

AMAZING food! The beer was awesome too. Need to book a reservation in advance...we went at 9pm and there was still a wait for tables!

Great Local Pub
The menu was limited - but in a good way. It had a variety of selections, but not so many, that it would take forever to review. The specials also added to the selections.
The preice for food and drinks wre reasonable - with the beer selection being as good as advertsied.
And the best part of the veneing was the excellent and courteous waitress service we received. Our waitress knew the menu "like the back of her hand", and her recommendations were spot on.
A great local resteraunt!

Up and coming local brewery
Up and coming local brewery with good food. The new building is great and looking forward to the opening of the roof top bar!

Brew pub for foodies
Food was as good as the beer.. That does not happen often at brewpubs.

Will go back
It was a little confusing in the lobby and no one to greet you so a patron pointed us in the right direction to get up stairs to the tap room.
Service was great, fries were outstanding. It's a large, factory setting. I strongly suggest they add some decor to dampen the noise- burlap bags hanging from the rafters would complement the brewery atmosphere (bags from hops could be used) and dampen the noise.

Long overdue visit to PB
Did not disappoint! Very good food, although could use a few more menu items for the non-foodies amoung us. Extremely attentive and professional service. We will most defintely be back.

Helped make our Saturday beautiful
Good, attentive, caring service; delightful cream ale; delicious poutine; and revivifying trout sandwiches helped make this experience special. I would drive ten, fifteen miles out of my way just to go here again. We drove but it is also very convenient for train from NYC,.

The beers are outstanding
The beers are outstanding and the menu is interesting with good food and very good service. Went for lunch with some old friends.

Our new favorite place
A big, airy metro/industrial space with two floors--one for pubbing, one for dining. Parking is limited to a very small lot, but there is a City permit lot next to that which you can use on weekends. Not really sure where else you can park around there w/o a hike.
The centerpiece is the craft beer--all of which (we tried 6 kinds between us)-- fresh and flavorful. The food was unexpectedly delicious as well--fish & chips, bacon burger, mac & cheese--fries--all done just a tad differently & yummy. Veggies with your meal is $4 extra, and desserts (at around $8) were smallish but delicious as well.
Dinner for three w/ beer & dessert was $100+. It's noisy there (I could barely hear our waiter), so not great for an intimate twosome.

A nice selection of beers
A nice selection of beers including flight tastings...A nice selection on the small menu. Mussels in the broth and the skirt steak were very flavorful and tasty. Its all about the different beers.

quickly becoming a standard
I was drawn for the beer and stayed for the food. We frequently fill our growlers with wonderful beer but recently realized that they have some vegetarian options, 3 in fact. I am delighted to go out for a beer and a burger and have both be delightful, the mac and cheese is pretty stinking good as well. As a vegetarian I cannot attest to the rest of the dishes but I did watch my mom thoroughly enjoy her regular burger and my Aunt enjoy some split pea soup. The room is a bit loud, I may be a bit old, but it is not keeping me from returning!

Love everything about it!
Great experience and food!

great food, worth a visit
Food is great- hubby got burger and I ordered pull pork sandwich and appetizer of oysters- all delicious. Nice flavors and not overwhelming. The beer was fantastic and service was excellent- nicest people. Wish that restaurant had real view of water, but there's an ice park on the water that is literally across the street so a great place to go after lunch.

The food here was excellent, which sort of surprised me, since it is a brewery, and I was just expecting the usual sort of bar fare--not at all, the dishes were outstanding. The Beer selection was great, the decor was as well, and, from where we say, we could look out on a window that opened to sunset over the Hudson river. Our service was excellent and the price was VERY reasonable. I highly recommend the Peekskill Brewery.

Happy Beer Lover
The Peekskill Brewery was worth the trip from New York City. The beers are delicious and both bartenders (Sean and Taylor) were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful in choosing from their fantastic selection. It was a wonderful evening out for two beer-loving girls looking to try some new delicious craft beers!

My boyfriend and I ate 3 meals in 2 days here. Lunches were awesome, but the dinner was incredible. We did the Brewer's Choice, which comes with 4 courses each paired for a beer. The waiter explained every pairing, and each course was better than the next. I don't normally like fish, but the Trout Fritters were a great starter, and the Swordfish steak for the entree was delicious. There was a warm cabbage salad, with blue cheese and walnuts that paired great with the given beer. For desert the Sous Chef brought out Baklava with a Fig Sauce and explained personally the choices for our whole meal. The baklava was outstanding. We were in true food nirvana. My only regret is that we don't live closer.

fun birthday dinner
Great food, fun atmosphere. Enjoyed the beer. Wish there were a few more vegetarian options on the menu but the veggie burger was great.

Overall experience was enjoyable!
We met friends there we lived in the area. The food was delicious, as was the ambiance and drinks. We wished that there was more to the menu. Quite short. There was a new bus boy that came to our table who was fantastic...introduced the restaurant, as well as the fact that our server would be right with us. He was very attentive throughout the evening. Overall, a fun night with friends and I would definitely go back.

Great pub fare
Server was forgetful and mixed up a few things, but the food was great and the ingredients were fresh and high quality. Will definitely be back for casual dinners often.

Been to the PB several times, always tasty, beers outstanding-love the simply sour.
They rolled out new menu so they were a little off on the timing but I was not grumpy at all. Bill comes n they comp'd the jaegerschnitzel!! I was impressed as the jaeger tasted awesome and was worth the extra 3 minute wait.
Come to Peekskill and be impressed too at the quality of PB!!

Toni On New York
We found the Brewery while watching Toni On NY. What a great find. The staff is one on the best we have ever had. Better than five star restaurants in NYC. The food is very fresh and serviced with style. I had the Bacon Bloody Mary, Bisects with gravy, and the waffle chicken sandwich. When we looked at the menu I was like what am I going to get??? I pick the above and was so happy I did. It was great, and had a great taste and was different, I enjoyed it very much. I finish off my meal with a four beer sampler. I told the staff what kind of beer I like and they were very helpful in picking out 4 beers for me. On the way out I pick up a jug of slow and flow for home. Can’t wait to go back.

Peekskill is back!
Love the beers. Love Peekskill. I really love the staff and place. I highly suggest it to anyone who loves beer, good food, and a great crowd.

We stopped on our way back
We stopped on our way back from Croton-on-the Hudson Halloween Blaze pumpkin extravaganza. It was on the way home & we are familiar with the brewery from TAP NY. Being foodies & brewies(?) we were very excited & we were not disappointed. Great brews to choose from and although the menu is a bit limited everything has great attention to detail, preparation & local sourcing. The hand cut fries with cheese curd, gravy & fried egg was great as a starter then I had the Coq Au Vin pie, yummy. Like homemade comfort food, great with beers & wine. My husband had fish & chips which had a variation of lemon Parmesan fries also really good. We finished the nite downstairs at the brew pub. Nice adult casual atmosphere. All in all a very nice time.

Great beer and good sandwiches.
Went for restaurant week but ended up ordering from the regular menu. Wasn't in the mood for a 3 course meal. Had a glass of local brewed beer. It was great. Sandwiches were also good. Great fries.

Worth a visit
I was pleasantly surprised by my meal here. I was a fan of the menu at the old location. It took some time, but the menu has evolved and improved since moving to this space. Great beer cocktails with a good array of food choices. I will return!

Quality was high and craft
Quality was high and craft beer is the main event. Ploughman's Lunch was tasty but is more of an appetizer than a meal--left me quite hungry. I expected a hearty, filling meal.
Noise level verges on deafening. It's an attractive setting but all hard surfaces. Way too loud to have a comfortable conversation.

So we drove back up to Peekskill for lunch. Last time we had brunch and it was very good, this time we thought we would try lunch. Yea it was just as good if not better. I had the burger and it was cooked just the way I like it. The service here is some of the best you will find. We made our way down to the bar and had a few beers after lunch, and then filled up two jugs for home. Looking forward to going back soon.

Peekskill Brewery brews their own beers, and also carries some guest beers. Excellent selection and really good beers.

Go For the Beer
Those who enjoy interesting & flavorful beer must visit the Peekskill Brewing taproom. A detour to the restaurant upstairs, while pleasant, is not required. The beers ARE exceptional but our food experience -- while not bad per se -- was not Amazeballs. Go forth and drink!
