I really enjoyed this little
I really enjoyed this little gem after all the awful convention food. Delicious, affordable, and love the freshness of all the dishes!!!! Will certainly go back when I'm in town for the next conference! Thx open table for leading me to this great place!

Good (albeit expensive) experience
Good (albeit expensive) experience for Easter brunch, however it took three attempts to get our bill corrected before we were able to pay for our meal.

Excellent Restaurant - service ok
I found this restaurant on Open Table at the last minute when traveling and needed to book a loose business dinner. Located in the historic Omni Severin hotel gave it a very nice and classy ambience. Menu is fresh and creative farm-to-table selection. The choices were diverse -- the appetizers and entrees were excellent, tasty and very creative and the salads were large and satisfying. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals and there was more than enough food. The wine and beer menu was very good, and while the food service was very good, there was no wine service to speak of. Overall, if you are not in the mood for a steakhouse in Indy, I would recommend 1913.

I would highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner. The staff is phenomenal and well trained and the manager Raju is very responsive to your needs.
The Omni is where I will be staying for all my business trips to the Indianapolis area and 1913 will be my destination for a productive dinner with clients.

Great Mother's Day Brunch
Went for Mother's Day Brunch - so I can't speak to the normal menu, but they did a great job. Great selection of breakfast/lunch foods. Made to order and ready to grab. Very good selection of desserts. Best brunch that I have had in Indy.
The staff was OUTSTANDING. Although I wouldn't call them seasoned, they were very attentive and even got me things that were not regularly available (for instance, I wanted an espresso which wasn't available so they went to the hotel Starbucks to get me one - that's service!)
Want to go back to try them during regular hours.

A hidden gem
So, this place is inside the Omni Hotel in Indianapolis. I had the meatball app which was fantastic. Seriously, food was awesome and the server, while young, did a great job. Forget what you normally think about hotel restaurants and give it a try

Everything we ordered was very good. The bread is the best I've ever had! I would recommend planning on drinking water. We discovered after getting the bill that our Cokes were crazy expensive. Be prepared to spend a lot, but if you have the finances for a nice meal this place is great.

Everything was great from the little veggie platter thru dessert, and service!

Upscale & Trendy
The atmosphere is what we all (8 of us) mentioned - it was quiet enough that we could visit. Food was excellent, service was first class. Every single one of us wondered how we've never been before. Was a very, very nice dinner.

Best Kept Secret
I dined with a girlfriend last night for restaurant week and was overwhelming delighted. This is one of the best meals that I have ever eaten and the service was flawless, including a personal visit from the bar tender who created a beverage for me. I have a gluten allergy, so it is difficult to eat out and when I do I am typically offered a bland piece of meat and some lettuce with oil and vinegar. The server was very helpful/accommodating and checked with the chef before bringing anything to the table, and made helpful suggestions throughout my meal. I had three courses that were all absolutely delicious. I would certainly recommend it and plan to return in the near future.

Love the use of local food sources
Had to ask for an early 6:00 PM reservation and was very quiet then. By the time we left around 8:00, the place was very busy on a Thursday evening. 1913 uses local food sources (referred to, I believe, as "field to fork") and we enjoyed a nice grass-fed fillet. A popular hotel restaurant in the midst of a bunch of popular stand-alone eateries.

1913 an overlooked gem
1913, the restaurant in the Omni Severin in downtown Indianapolis, is a fine restaurant that doesn't get the attention that it deserves. The food is really very good, the service is unobtrusive but attentive, and the ambience is excellent. I strongly recommend it. it isn't cheap, but we got enough food to have a hearty dinner the next evening. The cocktail menu is interesting, as it draws on cocktails popular from the 1913 era but updates them in interesting ways. The wine list is excellent, too.

What a great experience! Loved the evening! Appetizers were great! Had the onion pie and a flavored popcorn. Root beer pork chops were outstanding. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their dinners. Food was innovative and satisfying. Our server was knowledgable about the food, steered us clear from some cocktails that were less that terrific and to really tasty ones. Top the dining experience with killer sugar cream pie. Oh yeah, and valet parking was complimentary, no searching for a spot. I highly recommend this little known gem!!

A little bit pricey but since
A little bit pricey but since its all local farmers/food; worth paying a little bit more. We will definitely go back. Loved the deviled eggs, pork chop & wine!!
