Their $18 power lunch is very good, especially if you're starving. The place only has a few people during lunch time, so the waiters were attentive and the food was served relatively quickly. It's a nice casual place to get lunch at, but probably not for celebrating special occasions.

Excellent food, very reasonably priced for lunch, service is quick - perfect for taking a business associate for lunch.

Very good food, especially pasta dishes. There was a poker game going on next to our table which was a bit noisy.
Other than that nice visit with the family.

Ask and you shall receive...
We wished good friends bon voyage and celebrated a birthday. Enzo takes EXCELLENT care of us, from the white table cloth and chilled prosecco to the candle in the birthday cake, he works to make sure our glasses are filled and our expectations are met. The spinach tortelloni is fantastic. The birthday boy loves the pan fried chicken and mac and cheese. Thank you for making our evening out so special.

Great Service and Food
I recently dined at Kora because I was staying in Crystal City for a wedding. I found this restaurant on OpenTable and was pleasantly surprised on the knowledgeable waitstaff and attentiveness. The server was very nice and available. The menu was creative and delicious. I ordered the calamari, wine, and NY strip steak fettucine. I really enjoyed the flavors of the mushrooms and sauce. My mom got the steak and mashed potatoes and said they were deliciously flavored. We ended with the nutella/walnut pizza. Very creative and tasty. Would definitely come back!

Adults should avoid Saturday night
They have a "kids eat free" deal on Saturday night, which seems unusual to me. The place was full of kids whose parents seemed oblivious to the noise they were making. The staff seemed not to be bothered but I was amazed and disappointed by the number of unruly kids and checked out parents. The food is great--starting with the warm focaccia. The half-portion pastas allow you to try more than one. (Beware--I think the online menu says there is an option for 3 small portions for a single price, but that is not on the actual menu.)

The food was good with a lot of small plate variety and entrée options. The service was good as well. The atmosphere was the least pleasing part of the experience; the décor is bland and not to my taste. All in all, it was an enjoyable evening and I would recommend it, but not a place I would go for anything beyond the food.
