The real draw is the pleasant,
The real draw is the pleasant, relaxing atrium, but the the interesting menu and excellent preparation are worth the visit as well. Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive.

good place in the meat packing
good place in the meat packing district, the food is quite good, it is very big with super high ceiling and the music is not extremely loud

Great date place
Food was very good and service was top-notch.
There are these lovely trees, lit-up that surround the tables and provide a fantastic ambience. Overall great experience.

Perfect place for a Sunday Brunch! Would go again any day! Unlimited mimosas and great food can't go wrong!

Food really good! Service a bit slow. But overall really nice vibe.

Great restaurant in the Meatpacking
Great restaurant in the Meatpacking District with an indoor "garden" running up the rear exposed brick wall. Can't wait to go back in warmer weather when the retractible roof is opened!

Wonderful space. Love the garden. Service was good. The food was yummy but not presented in the form of art as has been so popular these days. Would go back. Drinks a nice pour. If they changed the ice cubes, they could up their game.

Food was good. My date absolutely
Food was good. My date absolutely loved it. Ended up paying about $220 for dinner and a bottle of wine, so a little pricy but great for a special occasion. Would definitely return.

Been here many times. Brunch and dinner. The black linguine and the fish is excellent. The brunch was also very good. Love the atmosphere open garden roof during summer time. Winter enclosed glass roof above. They do have a Dj and the music gets started after you dine which is nice.

Cold Night in an indoor garden
Food was great, had filet mignon and my boyfriend had tuna, both were great! Serice was a little slower and it wasnt a busy night. Batheooms were not as nice as they should have been. It was a cold night but the restaurant has a retractable roof and has garden seating, definitely a nice place to go in the summer.

Great brunch spot.
Excellent place to have brunch with friends. They have gorgeous outdoor seating in an indoor garden which gets booked up pretty fast, so be sure to make reservations early so you can request garden seating

Revel in Revel
Delicious, neighborhood, HOT SPOT all in one...this has the energy of Meat Packing buzz but the quaint feel of your neighborhood restaurant. Great service -every dish delicious from pork chop to branzino to chilean sea bass and I LOVED the Artichoke Arugula Parmesan salad. All reasonable prices -well NY you know! :) Great cocktails too. Definitely has the loud factor against it but the garden less loud than the bar area. A great spot all around and fun to be outside under the stars. A hidden garden gem.

Just Wonderful in a Noisy City
This was a delightful find that I'd rather not tell the world about. Discover it on your own. I loved being there.

Great Ambiance and Delicious Food
I walked passed Revel about a year ago when I was out in the West Village and I have been dying to go ever since. I finally made it there for dinner on Friday night and I am so happy I went. Yuo can't really tell from the entrance, but the restaurant has a great dining space in the back. I orignally thought it was open so you couldn't go on a rainy day but they actually have a sliding glass roof. I felt like I was in a romantically decorated greenhouse. The Food: For dinner I had the Granny Smith Apple Ravioli with beef ragout (which is also pictured on their website) -- it was delious, I would highly recommend it. Although the food was great, above all I recommend this restaurant because of its ambiance. Perfect date spot!

Great food and venue... but
We were very pleased with Revel's great location, right in the center of the meatpacking district. The atmosphere and energy were great, and our table was in the semi-open air courtyard. We had a wonderful greeting when we arrived.
The menu is a bit limited but we were happy with it. In addition to some average starters, we had a range of fish, steaks and lamb entrees with sides. I would say the food, though not exceptional, certainly met or exceeded our expectations, with the main courses being cooked to perfection, very flavorsome and the sides were perfect.
However, a big negative overall was a total lack of caring and basic disinterest shown by our waiter, who appeared to really not want to be there, but we did enjoy our food!

My friend recommended Revel
My friend recommended Revel and I was not disappointed. I went there for a brunch-date and the food, service and ambiance were great! Jasmine, our server, was very attentive (not overbearing and made some great recommendations.
I will definitely be back!

I loved how the restaurant was busy, but not overbearing. It was vibrant without being too loud. The noise level was perfect.
Food was very good. Servers seemed a bit rushed and overworked, but overall very friendly and still a great experience. Would come again.

A great restaurant
Great homemade tofu!! A must! Portions are perfect size. Sake flights were all delicious. A business associate told us about this restaurant who lives in Brooklyn and had to check it out.

First time here and it won't be the last. The food and atmosphere were great. They have wonderful specialty cocktails and highly recommend as an appetizer the tuna/shrimp tartar and the entre granny apple ravioli with beef ragout. Fortunately we got to dine in the garden, but unfortunately the retractable roof was closed which made the garden room stuffy and hot even with fans going. A bit of a detraction, but overall I and my friend were very pleased with this dining experience.

Memorable Scenery, Forgettable Food
The garden area was wonderful. The weather was PERFECT and the lighting was beautiful. I got the porkchop, my date got the prawns. My porkchop was pretty...meh. I mean, there was nothing wrong with it, it was fine. It just didn't really make an impression on me. The BBQ sauce tasted like Heinz brand, too sweet and uncomplimentary. The creamed spinach was phenomenal, as was the asparagus.

I went to Revel with some friends once before for Brunch, and had a great time. They don't skimp on the mimosas for the Brunch special, the food is delicious, and the place is gorgeous. Go on a nice day when the roof's open and it's the best, but even the side room is still very nice. I can't speak for the whole wait staff, but the two waiters I've head were great and super-friendly.

Revel has a wonderul brunch
Revel has a wonderul brunch scene. Included in the $35 deal you recieve and entree and unlimited mimosas or bellini's. The indoor/outdoor garden ambiance made for a delightful environment. The only negative would be the service. I had to wave for the waiter a few times as he seemed preoccupied talking to a coworker. Finally one of the other waiters quickly fulfilled my request.

A truly great place! I've been struggling to find a place with good food and great ambiance and Revel made that happen!

Service with a smile
Lovely waitress, fun brunch, great food and lots of drinks. Definitely recommend for a brunch place that is guaranteed to please the crowd.

What I love most about this place is the white Christmas lights in the atrium space. It's really a nice atmosphere with the tree in the middle as well. I also like that dining area is a separate area from the bar scene. The food was good and the service was great!

Superb atmosphere & scrumptous meal
My first time at REVEL was wonderful. I waited a the bar for a bit and Brandon was attentive and very pleasant.
Dinner was great! I recommend the Chilean Seabass with artichokes -YUM. We attended a Paint Nite Event which was the icing on the cake. Bravo Revel!!!!

Such a neighborhood gem
We took our youngest son, and his bride of one year here for Black Friday Weekend and had an exceptional time and meal. Our
daughter in law loves Gnocchi, so I always look for a menu with Gnocchi on it, and it did not disappoint. I had the Tuna, as
did my son, and my wife had the Chilean sea bass. All were outstanding. We have eaten in many fine restaurants in NYC, but
I have to say, this equals any of them so far. Great wine list, outstanding food, and a staff that was the best.

Really great food!
Loved the Lamb, and the veggies were Devine. Banana desert was delish, and they have a great wine list.

Most enjoying evening
After checking in and taking our coats, we were seated fairly quickly once arrived. The bar was fairly busy but not over crowded. The dining area is quite pretty with fairy lights and garden like features. The music wasn't too loud which was quite nice. We were served quickly but were not rushed. The fried calamari was delicious (not heavy and oily) with cucucmber dipping sauce -YUM! My sword fish was tasty but a big portion. We also ordered a fillet mignon which comes on a hot grill. Was great. The sides are very large and I think designed to be shared - we barely made a dent in ours :( All tasty (especially the mas potatoes).
We would definately go back - its a great place for groups as it doesn't look like it gets too busy or too cramped
