One of the very best Jackson Hole has to offer. Some of the dishes are almost a little too small and she-she la-la, but ok by this Venice Beach couple.

restaurant is not an eye-catching
restaurant is not an eye-catching building, it looked nothing outside but a yellow wall with a small outdoor deck. Small menu, high almost unaffordable price, unadvertised happy 1 hour from 5-6pm. service was good because we were the only table at that hour. Will I go back? not until there is no other restaurant in town.

A great place for shared Asian
A great place for shared Asian inspired small plates. The grilled calamari, tuna on won ton chips and luxury shrimp were all excellent!

After looking at the reviews for the various dining options in Jackson Hole, Wy I decided on The Kitchen as it seemed to have what we were looking for. Glad that we did. The food was outstanding. My ribs were so good, I have not had them that tender in a long time and the luxury shrimp and walu style sashimi was very good. While the menu was small, all the dished coming out looked delicious. The atmosphere was perfect after a long day of driving just casual. Drinks were strong and tasty, service was great and we would definitely go back next time we go thru Jackson enroute to Yellowstone Park. Highly recommended.

My wife and I travel quite a lot and have dined in some of the worlds most incredible settings. The Kitchen in Jackson Hole has a special combination of creativity, great food and fantastic service that puts it right up there with some of the best places we've experienced. Their host, Jeremy really keeps the quality at peak levels, year after year. The chef has world-class talent and always surprises us with his unique fare.

Food beyond compare
This was an amazing restaurant with local meats and vegetables. We both had the Snake River Farms tenderloin and it was so tender and tasty - nothing like the beef I was used to having. The service was attentive and the manager Jesse was very nice and ensured our meal was cooked to our perfection. Kudos Kitchen.

Loved this place! If you're a foodie go here! The menu is very creative, sort of Asian-American fusion, great cocktails, the service was perfect; low-key and attentive. The look is very unique and creative, with an energetic happ'enin vibe.

Hands-Down thee best place!
I have eaten all over the world, and quite extensively in Jackson Hole, itself. I have to say the Kitchen is hands-down, the absolute best place to eat in Jackson, and I would say Wyoming!! Wow! And the service was just fabulous!! We were late from a flight and happened in right when they were closing....they said "Please come in!" and we were seated and served the best lobster sliders and steak I have ever had. Steak was seasoned perfectly, cooked to a perfect medium rare, and literally could cut it with a spoon. Unreal!! Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Creative menu, deliciously executed
We were really happy with our meal. We shared a number of small plates and things from the raw bar portion. Everything was well prepared. Lots of creative dishes and preparations were anchored by a clear focus on keeping each meal tasty and rewarding (no work). Even the drinks were great. Service was friendly and informal, but thoughtful and informed. We would definitely return and we'd like order the rest of the items that looked great but wouldn't fit!

Happy Hour is a Great Value
My wife and i made reservations at 6:45, but ended up getting there early - at 6pm. We were pleasantly surprised that they had happy hour specials - $5 apps and half-price wine and drinks. We had several of the apps - the scallops were particularly good. And ended up sharing the Ribs for dinner - which was outstanding. Total price with 2 apps, 2 glasses of wine each and an entree was under $60. Great food at a great price. Only small problem was that they had ripped up the street in front of the restaurant - and w while they were not doing construction at the time we were there - it wasn't the best view in a town full of awesome ones. I'm sure when the construction is complete, it will be great once again.

Donald Duck is too tough
My son had duck that was too tough to eat but the restaurant graciously removed this item from the bill. The halibut dish was good although the coconut was too dominating. Charming restaurant, excellent service and plenty of personality. We liked the place.

Great dinner. Waiter was relaxed and friendly, but very professional and knowledgable. His recommendations (Waloo; Grilled Calamari; Pork Loin; Potato Chip Pie) were all terrific. Filled up with a happy crowd of folks who knew this was a good restaurant. I'd be happy to go back.

Unique setting and great food
Upon entering The Kitchen I was struck by the clean modern dining room. The atmosphere was relaxing yet fun and upbeat. Our server did a fine job however it was evident that she was serving many tables and did not have too much time for pleasantries. The food was delicious. My husband had the Thai fried chicken which he loved. I had a small plate with lamb kabobs that were tender, juicy and well accompanied by a unique tzazaki sauce. I also loved the craft cocktails! I had the Dr. Somebody's something or the other drink (can't recall the actual name) but it was so delicious. It was served in a small soda bottle and was made up of Aperol, gin, grapefruit juice and was charmingly bubbly. It was a most enjoyable dinner!

Fun with good food
We had a fun-filled night for dinner. I could not believe they had Red Deer from New Zealand on the menu so I tried it. The deer was terrific. Jeremy was all over the place making sure everyone was being attended to. It was sure to get a return reservation from us.

We always dine here when we are in Jackson Hole and it is always delicious. It would be nice to see one more vegetarian entree on the menu though. They had a nice pasta dish but they took it off the menu.

amazing dinner !!! don't miss it.
food great mix of flavors. The Red deer was amazing. Service was great, waiter Matt , very attentive to allergy concerns and his recommendations were perfect. Red deer is a must order. Everyone was friendly. desert was delicious and nut free. My wife loved the Halibut. Waiter knew it was our anniversary and treated us to the desert.

Had a great dinner here on our last night in Wyoming. I had the lemongrass-coconut halibut, which was cooked perfectly. My mother had the strip loin with truffle butter, and my dad had the spare ribs. Everything was just amazing! The best part of the evening, though, was our waiter Kevin. He was SO pleasant and wonderful and attentive, and he had such an amazing attitude. He absolutely made the night.

best appetizers in Jackson
Love the décor and the view (in the Summer). Great crowd, great appetizers, nice waiters although the main courses are a bit all over the place. Great steaks, chicken way too spicy. We love the place anyway.

Amazing Dinner-Great Experience
At the last minute myself and a group of friends decided to go to the Kitchen for burgers and bites. We were able to squeeze in a reservation on Opentable but then a friend decided to join us. I called the restaurant and Jeremy happily added one more to our reservation. We knew it was last minute but he took such great care of us, it was as if the reservation was made weeks in advance. Our service was great, food was delish and I cannot wait for next time! WE LOVE THE KITCHEN!

Overall wonderful experience
We choose The Kitchen after reading excellent reviews, and the great patio scene with white string lights in the heart of Downtown Jackson. We ended up sitting inside, but it was still a really cool ambience. There were several groups, friends, and couple. Perfect for all. The wait staff was friendly, and very knowledgeable. We thrilled with our Lamb Kebab appetizer (after living in Dubai and being spoiled with our Turkish fare), and both ended up going with recommendations from our server-both amazing and well priced for the portion size. My favorite, was the chocolate chip cookie in the skillet. It literally melted in my mouth. Great place, I am so glad we tried it, and I highly recommend.

Just traveling through town and checked this out on Yelp. I only had appy's and a lemondrop but the service was excellent and I loved my food. I had edaname, can't really go wrong with that but I also had a lobster slider. I thought it might be too rich but it was not too rich and nice touch with the grill toasted buns. I only ate two out of four because it was still a lot of food.

We did an 8:45PM dinner with three of us and made sure we all ordered a different meal. After cocktails, killer appetizers and kidding around with the wait staff, we dug into the main course with some exceptional wine choices. The food was shared around the table and although I did choose a favorite (beer marinated spare ribs) it was all good. We finished with the skillet chocolate chip cookie and homemade ice cream. We were the last patrons in the restaurant and were made to feel we could stay all night. This is a fun comfortable restaurant with a great staff and very tasty menu. You need to visit The Kitchen while in Jackson. It is our new "go to" dinner spot.

So happy they stay open late.!
I often pick up by husband from the airport on thursday nights at 9 - we love Kitchen because they are very much open and busy at that time, and we can get a great late meal. I think their hamburger is about the best in town and that's saying something because there are a lot of good burgers in Jackson. The Thai Fried Chicken is amazing and we've really enjoyed everything we've had a chance to sample. Wait staff is alway efficient and friendly and they make a great martini.

We were visiting Jackson Hole and this was one of our choices. It did not disappoint. All the courses were delicious! And our server was fantastic. Attentive , friendly and was from our home state of NJ! The food was creative and served to perfection. Very innovative menu and presentation!

Good food, great ambience
The crudo bar read better on the menu than it tasted and the fish could have been a little fresher. The appetizers were fantastic. We had the braised pork kelly and grilled squid. My entree was very good (red deer) but my wife was a little disappointed with hers (braised ribs). The atmospheres was fantastic. Very cool design that made me think of some restaurants I've been to in Japan. The music was a great collection of 70s and 80s R&B at just the right volume.

Creative Food, Great Ambiance
Very interesting, creative, tasty dishes in a well decorated, cozy space. The only downside were inconsistent portion sizes: my fish special was perfectly sized, but the duck breast was less than half the size of the other dish, so make sure to add some side dishes.

Everything about this place
Everything about this place is excellent. While we did not eat much, what we did eat was off the chart good. The shrimp with monster sauce is to die for, as was the mashed potatoes and the mango something salad.

Contemporary cuisine and restaurant
My wife and I were lured by their off season 2 for one entrees to give The Kitchen a try.
We started with the grilled calamari and the lamb kebabs. The grilled calamari was outstanding and the kebabs excellent. I highly recommend both. For main courses we chose the New Zealand, Red Deer and the Duck Breast. Both were excellent bordering on outstanding. They were both at the more expensive end of the menu. Desserts were a special pumpkin panna cotta and white chocolate mousse bombe. Both were good but not brilliant.The place was sparsely occupied being the off season. I could imagine it would be very noisy when full. The service was knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. But again it was the off season and not a lot of customers. ~$150 w tip

We went in to take advantage of the awesome 2 for 1 deal but I was blown away with how exceptionally yummy the food was! I'm a glutard and was psyched that the Bass entree was wheat free... It was so flipping good - I actually told the friend I was with I wanted to find out who cooked my fish because I wanted to give the chef a kiss for creating and executing a dish soooo yummy! Wonderful experience .. Can't wait to take all my friends back here !

Great food and service!
We spent nearly 4 hours eating and chatting and nobody rushed us. Very attentive waitstaff and fresh delicious food.

Local Place enjoyed by Locals
Have not been in awhile so thought we would return. Steak was excellent as was the Caribou Sausage plate. Aviator specialty cocktail a bit odd for our taste so unless you like perfume-tasting drinks, avoid this one. Service was perfect. Not super crowded as it was the off-season so the ambiance was more relaxed. It can get crazy loud and busy when all tables are full.

Best of the Fine Dining Group!
Went to The Kitchen to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful time. Our server, Kevin, takes pride in his work and we enjoyed his knowledge of the menu. I look forward to my next visit.
