This time around, good food and service.
Nifty dessert too. And Steven Tyler was walking his dog the whole while!

Wemt there for Easter Brunch
Wemt there for Easter Brunch and the food and service were absolutely amazing! Probably the quickest and most friendly service that I have encountered since I have been in Los Angeles. I would highly recommnend this place to anyone looking for a hidden gem for brunch. You mist try the sea bass!

Spectacular dining experience
Spectacular dining experience in a fantasy locale! While the food was excellent, the most outstanding aspect of our wonderful dining experience was the service! Superior! From the moment we arrived, we were pampered and coddled and served in every way possible. Highly recommend this lovely respite for anyone who is in the LA area.

Wonderful dining experience
Service and food were outstanding. Waiter was very helpful and selected a lovely wine to accompany my meal. Compliments to the chef. A memorable meal. I love how intimate and tucked away this place is. Hollywood's best kept secret.

Had our company event here.
Had our company event here. Definitely did not disappoint as it impressed everyone. Plus on the quiet low-key and wow factors.

One of my favorite places.. My
One of my favorite places..
My only observation of critique would be that if the wait staff observes the patrons in a spirited story, don't stand there waiting to deliver the news of the specials..it breaks the flow and makes one feel hurried..(as with our waiter)
Beyond that, food, drink, ambiance is an absolute pleasure and a really beautiful and serene venue..

Rick and roll hideaway
Good stargazing as well. Very lovely, private and rock and roll all at the same time.

Much Needed Oasis
This was my wife's first visit to the L.A. area and after taking her to some of the finest that West Hollywood/Beverly Hills had to offer we landed at the Sumset Marquis on Friday.
This place is our favorite - HANDS DOWN!
Being in the music business, the last place I wanted to be was dinner at a "Rock n Roll Hotel" during my brief 4 day vacation.
But the very tranquil atmosphere in the middle of the West Hollywood craziness, coupled with the perfectly created and presented Chilean sea bass and beautiful patio dining experience was just what the doctor ordered.
The place was so intimate that the celebs on hand were obviously as relaxed and carefree as we were.
Don't miss out on this gem.

Great brunch spot but pricey!
Nice assortment for an elegant brunch buffet! The food was amazing and everything was super fresh! Shrimp were huge and the mimosas were flowing. Definitely will come back. The only down side was they charged me full adult price for my daughter who is 2. She barely ate anything so I feel like 35 for her was a bit much. All in all, will come again!

There really is nothing like it in Los Angeles. The indoor/ outdoor setting is beautiful. The lights at night only add to the ambiance.

This place never seems to disappoint me in any way. This is definitely a diamond in the rough. The atmosphere is simply AMAZING, the food is DELICIOUS, and you just can't lose when dining here. Great for entertaining clients, a GREAT place for a first date, and a great place to bring close friends and family. You feel like you're in Hawaii and not in Los Angeles at all!!!

L.A.'s best-kept secret restaurant
This place is one of L.A.'s hidden treasures. Not a hidden treasure that everyone knows about (like Chateau Marmont), but a true oasis tucked away on a cul-de-sac just below the Sunset Strip. I've never stayed at the hotel, but I've have a couple of great meals at the Restaurant, including, most recently, last night.
The setting is tranquil and glamorous in a laid-back way (I can't believe this this place isn't packed to the rafters, but thank god it isn't) and the transition from indoors to outdoors is seamless. The service was superb, thanks to our waiter Keith and the other staff members. Excellent pacing: not too rushed, and not too slow; very informative, but not overly chatty.

Setting beyond compare
Great food in an amazing setting. Food variety could be improved as well as adding a side to entree.

Very nice garden and very friendly service. The food was great, not that much but it was enough. I would go there again.

Great Find in Weho
I was surprised that I hadn't heard if this place before going. The food and ambience are so nice. Innovative Cal American cuisine is served in a hip, modern restaurant. It's tucked away in this gem of a hotel off La Cienega just south of the Strip, but walking through the grounds transports you elsewhere. The food is pricey (in line with the location) but delicious. The salmon with baby lentils was great as were all the appetizers that we ordered. A great find.

Wow, where do I start. We got there and got a gorgeous seat right next to a very famous rock-and-roll singer we all knew who we later found out was a regular there. Initially we saw the menu and were a bit concerned that it was a bit small. We began with the asparagus proscuitto salad with poached egg. Sounds weird but was DELICIOUS!! Next we had chicken and the veal loin with mushrooms. Again, WOW. It was one of the best dishes I have ever had. Then the desert of panna cotta was also tremendous. The whole meal was truly a PARTY IN YOUR MOUTH!! If the meal and ambiance wasn't enough, the server really topped the whole night off. If you ever go there ask for Greg J. He was really knowledgeable of the menu and wine pairings. Definitely a must

This is a little oasis in the middle of West Hollywood. Just a wonderfully peaceful garden. Small menu but fresh tasty and well prepared. Service in very good and un-intrusive. One of my favorite breakfast spots in LA.

Location/decor is main attraction
Beautiful garden setting-We had a club sandwich (perfectly cooked bacon) w/amazing fries that were worth every double fried calorie. The beet salad was good but I didn't care for the ahi tuna appetizer-was more fishy than I prefer. Our desert was really outstanding-don't remember the name but it was apples in a very crisp delicious pastry w/vanilla ice cream. We were there late on a Saturday afternoon and it was very quiet. I'm guessing it's pretty lively at night given it's location on the strip. We would definitely return and I would recommend it to others.

best dining experience, ever.
Sunset Marquis is the bar that all other hotels and restaurants should attempt to reach. Impeccable, beautiful, genuine. Impossibly perfect. Refined elegance that is equally comfortable. Gorgeous setting. Sincere kindness. Exquisite presentation. And the food is not of this world. A moment in life that will never be forgotten. Will see you again very soon, Sunset Marquis.

This was our second time to dine at Sunset Marquis. We again had a delicious meal, starting with caviar and champagne! Tender, perfectly cooked lamb, beet salad was beautiful, and the mousse...wow! Fabulous waiter, Keith made our evening the best!!!
I strongly recommend this place, off the beaten track, hip, and unforgettable!

Birthday Party for 10 people
I celebrated my birthday at The Restaurant and it was a terrific experience. The setting is really it's strongest point as well as a good bar. The food was quite tasty. The service gave us a lot of space to socialize, but then at times completely disappeared and had to be hunted down to order. But overall it provided a remarkable location for a fun evening.

A beautiful outdoor setting where one can hear youself think, and the other person(s) across the table over delicious food.

Favorite weekend spot
We have been here many times, usually for Sunday brunch (I might argue it's the best in the city) but also for lunches and dinners. I always have good food, excellent service and a relaxing but vibrant ambience. great place to take friends from out of town or pop in for a bite to eat.

Usually not a fan of overpriced, overindulgent buffet brunches...this, however, is a completely different animal! Yes, there are multiple tables and a man making omelettes, BUT...he's also making fresh crepes and carving spectacular prime rib. The salads were unusual and outstanding (the red quinoa salad!), the quiche with white truffle was amazing, and the cheese and charcuterie selection was lovely. Oh, did I mention sushi? And bottomless mimosas? That's what makes this a great value, even at the price.

lovely place. My boyfriend
lovely place. My boyfriend and I went on a Sunday evening. Everything was very good/excellent. It would have been nicer even with more customers. The seating inside was beautiful, and the terrace romantic with the lighting, and the water fall nearby. very good service.
