We went for a birthday dinner.
We went for a birthday dinner. It was perfect for 6 of us, although the table was a bit small. Our waitress was amazing! We really enjoyed our dinner and will definitely be back.

Great dining experience!
We went as a group of 7 after a graduation ceremony. They were very accommodating for our larger group, although it was empty inside because everyone wanted to sit outside. Food was delicious, and the service was good, even the drink selection was fun! Highly recommend

fun for a small group
We had a great time catching up over sangria and tapas. We were pleasantly surprised to find a fun bar scene and spanish music/dance. It put a fun finish to our night!

delicious and fun
went on Sunday to see the flamenco show. The show was amazing and made for great atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the raviolis de queso. They're covered in a delicious blueberry sauce.

Live Flamenco on Sundays!
I LOVE Bar Lola for the live flamenco dancing on Sunday nights!!!!! So much fun!!!!! Also, it's one of the best places in the Back Bay for dining outside in the summer because their restaurant and outdoor patio are on the garden level. A few steps down off the street puts you in a patio that is away from the sidewalk and street noise.

Perfect Summer Spot!
Bar Lola pretty much epitomizes summer outdoor eating in Boston, while keeping you away from the overwhelming crowds and overpriced food of Newbury Street. I really love the location and the food. It's always a treat to enjoy a meal there!

My daughter and I had an early dinner. Food was fresh and well-prepared. Service attentive but not obtrusive.

The bar side of the restaurant
The bar side of the restaurant has much better ambience than the dining side. I wish we'd requested to sit there, instead.

Great Outdoor Terrace
I really love Bar Lola for it's Sangria. Another great thing is their tapas menu, it lets you try a lot of different dishes and not only stick to one big dish. Their selection is great. The ambience is very good and it gets pretty loud specially on weekend nights. Live music is a plus.

I took a trip to NY, Boston and Chicago to go to some baseball games, eat drink beer and be merry. The waiter here was very knowledgeable about local beers and did not disappoint. The food was more comfort food than light fare. However, that could have been my ordering choices. It was all delicious.

Great place to meet with friends
Tapas are always the best for a big group, and this place doesn't disappoint. You can order pitchers of their house sangria, or pick from their wide range of cocktails (My fave was the Lolita). We tasted a few dishes, standouts being the tomato/mozzerella/pesto salad and the breaded shrimp with mango sauce. I wasn't too keen on the rabbit; it was somewhat gummy and hard to split up for sharing. The outdoor patio looked awesome, but we skipped it, since the only open table was below a spray from someone washing the windows on the upstairs apartment building. Service was great.

Some of the best-varied Tapas selections in Boston. Nice Back-Bay ambience and great service.

I simply came here for the flamenco night and I was not disappointed except for the noisy guests who were loud during the performance besides that it was a great outing. Food was good. I had the bunuelos (sp?). Sangria was ok I guess. Very attentive host!!

Bar Lola is the perfect place
Bar Lola is the perfect place to meet up with friends for a few drinks and shared plates. Great atmosphere with friendly service and a variety of delicious tapas to munch on while you catch up.

The tapas are good and great to share with a group. A good selection and variety. Great wine, as well.
But the real reason to go is to see the flamenco dancing on Sunday night. The dancers were very, very good and if you closed your eyes and drank a little more Spanish wine, you'd swear you were in Madrid or Barcelona.

We came here for a fun dinner for a birthday of one of our girlfriends. The food and drinks were great. The place...super cute. Our server, however, was lacking. She barely came by the table. She was not enthusiastic...at all. It seemed like she forgot about us most of the time...or wanted to. I'd definitely go back again to give them another try because I think it was an off night for service.

Delicious tapas and Martinis
I found Bar Lola when looking for a tapas restaraunt for a friend and I to go to. Bar Lola was perfect! We had some delicious Martinis followed by fantastic food. The blueberry cheese ravioli were a yummy surprise. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Tapas for Everyone
If you like a variety of tapas and have at least 3 people, this place is a great option. First time there, but we ordered about 8 different things, all under $10. Tortilla wasnt the best I've had, and I love them, so I was a little disappointed. After that, it was great. Loved the lamb chops and the rabitt.

The flamenco show was incredible
The flamenco show was incredible and very intimate. The ambience was amazing. I am allergic to gluten and the server was very helpful in assuring that I had plenty of options to choose from. The food was great and not your typical tapas. I highly recommend this restaurant. It was also my birthday, and the restaurant made it a wonderful experience.

Great Birthday Night
We took my friend out for her birthday at Bar Lola and we all had a great time! The tapas were delicious and the wait staff was very accommodating. They even brought us a dessert with a candle in it and turned all the lights off for her to blow it out! It was also fairly reasonable. We ordered 14 tapas, a dessert, and 4 pitchers of sangria for the group and it came out to only $40 a person, tip included (there were 7 of us). The only minor complaint I have is the sangria we ordered (white sangria) wasn't very strong, but it still tasted great! I would definitely recommend this spot for a fun night out.
