Stanley Park at your Table
We reserved a table for 4 later in the evening but finished our carriage ride early and the restaurant graciously seated us with a bay view! It was a peacefully quiet, deliciously prepared, and meticulously served meal at a very leisurely pace. This was the beginning of a shared vacation with friends and we all will remember the Teahouse most fondly.

Delicious Food, Service and View
Teahouse is maintaining their reputation as one of Vancouver's best restaurants to have a relaxing afternoon or evening meal at.
Great place to take special people and out of town visitors. Always excellent service and good recommendations from servers.

The view is spectacular. The service is impeccable. We will go back every time we are in vancouver.

Brought our group of international visitors (party of 9) for lunch after a morning tour around Stanley Park. We were seated in the atrium with (for the adults) a great view of the water. (The kids had their backs to it but didn't care.) The ambience was understated yet refined, quiet enough for comfortable conversation, but not so silent that kids would be noticed. The sunshine through the glass roof kept things bright and cheerful. The service was friendly, attentive and professional. The food was excellent. A great experience! Would gladly return, either with a group or as a couple, maybe next time for supper and sunset?

Beautiful Place. Wonderful Service.
This is a place that doesn't seem to depend only on it's beautiful location. The service was good. The food was good. The cocktails were good. And when there was loud group next to us they gave us desert for free to apologize even though we didn't even complain. Very impressed with the care they put into a dining experience.

A walk down memory lane
My husband and I had our first date at the Teahouse and our sons gave us gift certificates for our 30th wedding anniversary to " take a walk down memory lane." The evening was spectacular from the view, ambiance, food and service.
8/26/2013 12:00:00 AM
lunch was delicious and most enjoyable. Only down side was a bit to warm toward the end of the lunch. Persperation less than attractive on a 1st date

Absolutely one of our favorite
Absolutely one of our favorite places in Vancouver. Great view and setting. We always come here when ever we are in town. Ideal for special occasions.

Great dining experience
Enjoyed a delicious meal at the Teahouse with Australian friends. The setting is absolutely delightful & watching the sun go down over the water was a memorable experience.
The sablefish was delicious. All diners enjoyed their meal. Staff were friendly, attentive and generally efficient.
We had a large birthday celebration next to us which made the noise level a little high.
Would recommend to anyone that enjoys fine food. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the dining experience.

Best prime rib in town!
My wife and I received a gift card for the restaurant as a wedding gift so we decided to do something different. I normally have prime rib whenever I go out for a nice meal. We chose to go on Sunday for the prime rib 3 course meal. We arrived at 5:30pm, the table was ready and the serivce was fantastic. I think the server's name was Caroline(?). The prime rib was the best I have ever had in all my years of fine dining! And the view was great too!

Located inside Stanley Park
Located inside Stanley Park just a short drive from central Vancouver, the Teahouse sits on a point facing west where you can count on the best sunset view in the city (their website has a table to determine the time of sunset by date). But even without the view or sunset, this is a restaurant worth going to. There is a good variety on the menu and the ambience is elegant (I particularly like the glass conservatory room). Our meal (salmon) was excellent. Service was too -- friendly and efficient (thank you, John). This is a unique restaurant which stands out in a city full of wonderful restaurants!

Great experience overall
Always have a great experience at the tea house. We come every year to celebrate our anniversary BC we had our wedding here. The seafood chowder was amazing and my husband enjoyed his carrot soup. The atmosphere is beautiful and our server was friendly & professional. Also, it was our first year bringing our 10 month old baby (we weren't sure how that was going to go being a nice restaurant and first time parents). We opted for a lunch instead of dinner with the baby and it was great. Everyone was very warm and welcoming to the little one which made our experience that much better.

Reliable atmosphere very friendly staff and excellent food. Ocean view dining in a secluded setting make this a hit for locals and visitors alike

Tea House brunch
I took my husband and our baby to Tea House for brunch on his birthday. It was our first time and we had a great meal there. The room we sat in was cozy and the service was excellent. We would go back for another brunch for sure!

Had a wonderful family dinner. Great food, great service and beautiful scenic place. Definitely be returning.

Excellent food and service
It was an amazing place to hold a work celebration, great food and service and made it a special day.

Stanley Park Dinosaur Holds Up
The Teahouse is a nice lunch stop after a walk in Stanley Park. It's a bit dated in appearance and the menu could use a makeover. We chose the shaved prime rib sandwich and halibut specials. The halibut was perfectly cooked and presented over a tasty medley of vegetables and roasted potatoes. The sandwich -- recommended by the waiter -- was not so interesting (mostly spongy bread) with little consideration of presentation -- a sea of beige on ivory (even a parsley sprig would have helped add color). Server was well seasoned, attentive and appropriately conversant. This is a place I would take my parents or grandparents.
9/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
The Teahouse in Stanley Park doesn't disappoint. The view is spectacular, especially at sunset! The food and service matched the view and location. Everything was perfect.

We have been coming to The
We have been coming to The Tea House since our wedding night 19 years ago, and come every time we are in Vancouver (at least once a year). The food and service is always good, but towards the end of this dinner, our plates weren't cleared for quite some time. It seemed they got a little busy and forgot about us for a minute. We also ordered one bottle of wine between the four of us and he never asked if we wanted another bottle or another drink. Other than that, we had a nice dinner with some clients who were first time visitors to Vancouver and The Tea House.
9/22/2013 12:00:00 AM
Took my wife to Tea House for her birthday dinner and could not have asked for better food or nor service. Down to the minute details such as timing of the food, temperature of the food were both spot on. Kudos to staff and especially our server who even entertained us with some dance moves :)
9/25/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great table and food
We ordered Halibut, BC Salmon and steak. Fish was excellent - juicy and tasty!! Steak was a little less than expectation, but was quite good overall. Tried a BC red wine on the recommendation of serving staff - found it very easy to drink; one of the best I had in years. Was given an excellent window seat with a sunset view. Ambience and staff service were both superb. Will definitely recommend to friends and hope to visit again soon.

Great for any occasion
This is a great place with fantastic service. Expect servers who have an attention to detail which is refreshing as that tends to be a lacking element with most Vancouver destinations, not here.

Return to the Teahouse
It had been 15 years since our last visit to Vancouver and dinner at the Teahouse Restaurant. Maybe some things do get better with age! The dining experience (food, ambience, service, etc.) were all what we had remembered (even if specific memories blur to the good side!). Given all of these pluses, we felt the price was reasonable. If you have one meal in Vancouver, make it the Teahouse Restaurant in Stanley Park. Before you go, however, check the sunset times for your time in Vancouver and make your reservation for about 20-30 minutes prior. The sunset view is fabulous.
9/27/2013 12:00:00 AM
I was looking for a special place to eat during my first trip to Vancouver... I am so happy I ate here! The food was great; fresh, regional, and full of flavor. My waiter was attentive and full of great suggestions on dishes to try. I truly enjoyed my experience and was fortunate enough to watch the beautiful sunset from the front window. It was a great addition to my memories of my trip to Vancouver.

Went for lunch. Food was alright and serving staff was pleasant. The ambience was good, I like the large windows and scenic ubc view.

A fabulous evening
We went to dinner for both of our birthdays. The service was fantastic, the food was beyond what we expected, and our waiter really new how to pair the wine with our dinners. We have very high standards when we dine out because we both cook and the Tea House really provided a wonderful environment for our celebration of life.
10/2/2013 12:00:00 AM
It had been a few years since we dined at your restaurant. The food was very good, ample serving and we were looked after by Cristos ,our most attentive waiter.. Although there were mostly pros , at times we felt the noise was very loud and the wind which was quite strong that night came through the windows making it drafty.

thank you for a great dining exp.
The food is the one of the best by any standard. Wait staff are professional, friendly and knowledgable.

very friendly host & warm in away you feel you are at home at follow up every detail , i had my first date and it was really remarkable .
10/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
Always great experience
Been here a few times for dinner and twice for lunch (both times in big groups). Service is always great. Restaurant set up is nice (separated into smaller dining areas so it feels like you're eating at a small intimate place). Food is fantastic, althought a bit on the salty side. Everything on their menu sounds delicious. The sablefish was to die for. For big groups they let you pick and choose items from the regular menu to create your own group menu, which is great.
10/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great for special get togethers!
Went to brunch with family and enjoyed their classic eggs benedict. The service was great throughout the meal and our server always checked to see if we were doing ok. Their famous croissants weren't as good as before but the homemade jam was delicious!
10/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
A "special occcasion" gem
Gorgeous scenery, great food, attentive service, choice of good BC wines, nice ambience - what more can you ask when wanting to celebrate a special occasion!
10/8/2013 12:00:00 AM
I took a colleague from Denver
I took a colleague from Denver for lunch because of the location and view and my past experience with the food. I was not disappointed. It was a great sunny October day and the location was spectacular, including the drive through Stanley Park to get to the restaurant. It was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday at lunch--perhaps the great weather brought out more people than normal. As such, service was a bit slow, but not serious.
10/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
Beautiful, Special place
The service was really great from beginning to end at our table. The stuffed mushrooms were divine: a must try! The wait between our appies and main course was a little long and I did notice that a couple times the servers weren't sure where certain dishes were to go at other tables. Overall it waa a great experience, and recommended for a special dinner.
10/11/2013 12:00:00 AM
We went to the Teahouse for the first time and the experience was wonderful. John, our server, was knowledgeable and friendly. A credit to Teahouse. The food was delicious and delivered hot and in a timely manner. We will be back
10/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
For us Americans, to celebrate Thanksgiving in another country in October is a new concept, especially for me... A lifelong retailer! But when I received a call from the restaurant 5 weeks before our dinner reservation to tell us that we'd be experiencing this, I couldn't wait!
After having Coal Harbour Clam Chowder (Manhattan-style) and a garden salad, our turkey dinner with all the trimmings was absolutely perfect! Succulent, juicy, flavorful. The service was terrific, and the view from this cottage-style restaurant is breathtaking. A memorable evening for my wife and I!
10/13/2013 5:00:00 PM
We love The Teahouse. It is the first place I think of to bring out of town guests. The views are spectacular, the service is outstanding and the food is perfect. I find the servers to be knowledgeable with the wine selections and to end the night- dessert is great.
10/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
We shared a Caesar salad and salt & pepper squid for our appetizer. The salad was one of the best I have ever had. The squid was deep fried. It had a nice coating but seem a little unevenly cooked. Some pieces were perfect and some were slightly over done. Our mains were the sable fish and the halibut. These were cook perfectly. The flavour of each dish was excellent. and the portion size was just right. Dessert was a chocolate Milno cake. I was not crazy about it but my girl friend really enjoyed it.I noticed quite a few other couples enjoying their meals. The manager came by each table to check on our thoughts and handled our bill payment.
The Tea House has always been a Vancouver dinning standard. This will be an enjoyable memory.

Best brunch ever
I had out of town guests with me and they claim it is the best brunch they have ever had and they are in their 80's!!! Service was great and of course the location is beautiful. I highly recommend this restaurant winter or summer. Look forward to going for dinner the next time as they have 3 course dinner specials Monday to Thursday for a very reasonable price. We will be back for sure!

Good times at the Teahouse
Our first visit to the Teahouse...and we will be back. Great location and views being well situated in Stanley Park.
Both the food and service was top notch. Arrived for a late breakfast and promptly seated. I had a waffle and the wife
Had eggs Benedict. Both were quite tasty and the portion size was good. If you are in the park...or even close by,
Stop by and try it out.

Exceptional Service and Great Views
Stuffed mushrooms were so delicious, I would come back just for these! The smoked salmon flatbread had great balanced flavors, however the flatbread itself was way too chewy and hard to bite into, which sort of ruined it. The views are obviously exceptional and the service was superb.
10/24/2013 5:00:00 PM
I am soooo IMPRESSED!!!!
The Tea House Restaurant is my favorite dining place in Vancouver. The view is amazing, but the staff and the Chef makes this place exceptional.
Our waitress, Karyn was very helpful and energetic. Her style of customer service and her wit actually made our experience there the best. All of the staff were helpful and they really worked as a team.
Our friends from Europe were blown away by the professionalism and service. They told me after that they had been dining in Vancouver for a week but the remainder of the trip they would eat at The Tea House.

A lovely evening in the park.
My friend and I had never been to the Teahouse and went on a dark and rainy Wednesday before visiting the Stanley Park Ghost Train. The restaurant was very quiet when we arrived at about 6:00 however it began to fill up as the evening progressed. The atmosphere is extremely cozy with beautiful and tasteful decor. The lighting is also very cozy and warm. We had a window seat overlooking the front garden and although the weather was poor it was very beautiful! The food was very tasty and their October menu was surprisingly economical. We had a lovely evening and enjoyed chatting with our server. Overall a very pleasant experience which I would love to repeat on a clear evening to catch the sunset.
10/29/2013 5:00:00 PM
I must admit we were early bird diners, the Restaurant was quiet because of that.
Had the Fall set menu (never had a set menu before as it's so restricting but this one was very tempting). Very good value for money. Although the starter salad was a tad small (I was doubtful about entree size but it turned out great, desert magnificent).
Nice to sit by the fire, and of course the view was amazing.
The waiter was attentive but not annoying & presented us with a bonus salmon and (cream cheese?) mini plate to share. I am a vegetarian so my husband ate the lot but it was a nice thought. He also wrote a card of thanks to us for our patronage.
We have been back every year for 10 yrs and frequent through the year. Always good service, great food.

My apologies to Richie...I
My apologies to Richie...I thought his name was Philip (two 'i's). Service was exemplary, food was excellent, view is killer. Love the Teahouse and will return next month with my daughter. My only complaint would be that it was very cold in the solarium...space heaters would have helped and we weren't even that far from the fireplace, which was blazing beautifully.

We had a wonderful experience
We had a wonderful experience at the Teahouse Restaurant on Sunday, Nov. 17. My son and his bride were married that morning and our family went to the Teahouse for a celebratory lunch. The staff attended to our needs extremely well. They found us a table with a great view and all the serving staff were outstanding. The food was wonderfully prepared. Thank you all for helping us have such a memorable day.
11/16/2013 4:00:00 PM
always good but
Food is always good. However our brunch last weekend took a very long time to arrive. We will return.
11/23/2013 4:00:00 PM
Gorgeous, Quiet, Attentive
lovely dinner with attentive staff. Food was punctual and nicely seasoned. We had the feature menu of a 3 course dinner. Small things that could be improved or changed were that I found it odd to have a sheet of paper topping the tablecloth (this isn't Montana's or some other steakhouse where you are served crayons for your kids), the window seats are a bit chilly, and the butter served with the bread was a bit hard to spread and wasn't anything special - nice to have a whipped herb butter or something unique for either the bread or the butter. Lunch menus were at the table when we sat down to dinner, but they were quickly changed. All the food was well presented and nicely cooked. Romantic and quiet, will be back.
11/27/2013 4:00:00 PM
First time for everything
We went during a downpour outside, at night. The scenery was still amazing despite this. The surrounding lights lit up the raindrops as they fell and added a little something to the whole night. Staff were friendly and very helpful and suited the quality of food we received.
11/28/2013 4:00:00 PM
We've had an excellent family get together for the occasion at our Sunday brunch with our daughter who is always busy. For that the atmosphere was very good suitable to meet with family and friends.
We liked openness of the space and view. We would like to visit again.
