It was a Sunday evening and the restaurant was nearly empty, so there was no noise element.
Celestino's food is always delicious, however we do wish he still had a restaurant in Santa Monica!

Best Food on Sunset Plaza!
Celestino Drago is not only a great chef but a fanstastic host. Manager Rinaldo will make you feel as if he invited you to his home to dine.

I'll be back a 3rd time +
My daughter was running a little late for our 7p reservation . I appreciated that at no time did we feel rushed . Yes , the place was not full , but the people were nice and accomodating .
Everyone liked their food , from appetizers thru the main course to dessert . My Risotta was cooked perfectly , which is an underappreciated art .
This was my 2nd dinner and will now make this my W . Hollywood Italian Restaurant of choice .

Rinaldo is a superb floor
Rinaldo is a superb floor manager and wine-bartender. The entire staff was electrified via their interactions with Rinaldo. (One remarked to folks at the bar when he was away, "He's on fire tonight.") They were nice, fun, accommodating, and professional. The food was spectacular.

Terrific. Like being in Italy.
Terrific. Like being in Italy.
The Amatrician pasta was a little too spicy and had too much sauce. The lamb ragu pasta was to die for. Loved the Eggplant Timbale as an appetizer.

As always, Drago never disappoints
While I enjoy all of their establishments, I think the Osteria is my favorite right now.
Rock on, Celestino!!!!

Always a pleasure at any Drago establishment. Nice staff; attentive service; delicous food; reasonable prices; good wines; the pasta with lamb ragu is excellent.

I thought the food was very good. The decor...'trying too hard"...they could remove some vases and bottles of wine and simplifiy what otherwise could be very simple elegance. The porch is perfect.
The most annoying thing was the music. This restaurant could really benefit from some understated classic music or Italian music or jazz. It's never going to be a 'scene' and will not attract the hot young crowd and that's ok because the food is excellent enough and people who appreciate good food will come but they won't want to listen to an 'overloud' play list...it ruins what otherwise could be a romantice place.
The food carries the day....and that will bring me back.

This is a gem in West Hollywood. Keeping the location alive, Drago out did itself with this restaurant.

Wonderful food, fabulous service!
We ate at this wonderful restaurant for my husband's fortieth birthday. Everything was perfect - the food, the service, the ambience - everything! They even brought out a complimentary desert with a candle in at the end of the meal! Great spot on Sunset Blvd for people watching too. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again - cant wait!

As good as it gets.
The gratis prosecco along a few nibbles of cheese and olives is very welcoming. Service was very attentive and professional. The dining room is attractive . The menu is interesting and varied and food was all beautifully prepared, seasoned and presented. The food costs are a good value. Wine list is small with mostly Italian wines. This is as close as it gets to a very good meal in Italy.

Lovely experience. The new chef/owner was very accommodating of requests and made an effort to visit our table. Extremely charming spot.

finally something is changing in Osteria Drago in sunset blvd. I noticed it immediately changed from the menu, the wine list that is different. during the dinner I had with the mioi friends, I had the pleasure of meeting the new chef Christian. A young chef with a great experience of big names in his career, such as Pelican Hill Resort. His food was simple but really good, I noticed that knows and uses products of excellent quality.
talking with the chef, he said that in a month will change its name, it will be no more Osteria Drago, but "Ristorante Al Bacio." chef I'll be back soon, I really appreciate your kitchen! K.

i been there two time last week! and all the time the Food and the Service was outstanding!
Chef Christian, the new chef of the new company own Osteria Drago, was always attentive to detail.
I had a chance to exchange a few words the last time, and told me that in less than a month, the name will change from Osteria Drago to "Ristorante Al Bacio".
Another thing I noticed of the chef, he tries to make each moment particular, from the beginning with the stuzzichino to the end with the coccole finali (little Italian pastry).
i love his food!

Simple, Fast, Clean
Sat outside, nice view of Sunset, but was a tad loud at times - to be expected dining next to a main road. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. Place seemed geared towards an older crowd, as we were the youngest people there by 15-20 years. Service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back.
