Great Anniversary Dinner
I recently reserved a table at Suzettes Creperie to celebrate our 2oth Anniversary. It is my wife's favorite restaurant so I knew it would be a great evening. The staff at Suzettes did everything possible to make it a great night. I dropped a gift off ahead of time and they had a beautiful table waiting for us when we got there with my wife's gift sitting prominently at her seat waiting for her. It was a perfect night and I can't begin to say how well they took care of us!

Tea service looked very inviting.
Tea service looked very inviting. Choice of two, French or English. Must give advance notice for English service. Looking forward to returning for the tea service. Allow enough time for dining. Pace is a little slow.

Very nice, relaxing. We had
Very nice, relaxing. We had the chicken sandwich with side salad. A little disappointed that the sandwich was made ahead of time and the bread was a little soggy. Nothing beats freshly made. We would probably go again and would recommend friends to go.

Great place for dinner
We went here with another couple this time, the wait staff were excellent and the food wonderful. Two of us had the Beef Bourguignon Crepe, one had the Salmon Crepe and one the Duck Confit with Wild Mushroom Risotto. Everyone loved his or her entrees. We finished with some of Suzette's desserts, two of us had the summer special Rhubarb pie with Gelato, which was something I haven't had in years. It reminded me of the Rhubarb pie my Grandmother used to make, a great balance of sweet and tart.

went with a group of 8 to say farewell to a lovely co-worker
everyone loved the atmosphere, food and service
Nothing to complain about here!

You're not in Wheaton anymore.
A gem for those that love small places. We have been there several times and consider it a place for special friends or just to be romantic. Like dining in Paris without the 8 1/2 hour flight. Crepes is their thing, but they do offer full entrees as well.
This evening there was a pianist playing and it added a touch of a big city feel. Service was excellent and it all added to our Anniversary. Which included a comp dessert since the waiter overheard us toast each other...so that was a nice surprise.

Birthday High Tea
Went to Suzette's to celebrate my granddaughter's 8th birthday. What a treat. We wore our hats and enjoyed High Tea English style at 2:00 p.m. Variety of teas was awesome...had three different flavors during our courses. The finger sandwiches were to die for and the eight year old loved every variety. Surprised about that? Then came the scones and the desserts! Everyone sang her happy birthday and the little princess had a smile on her face the whole time.
This is a great place for the ladies and the men (with their ladies) to frequent. I'm from Indiana and wish there were more eateries in my area. Oh well, it was worth the 70 mile trip to celebrate an 8 year old's birthday!

A great place to eat if you are not in any kind of a hurry. The food is delicious but takes a long time to make. The appetizers and salads are quite good too. If you are full before the dessert course, then go to the bakery side of the restaurant and get your dessert to go.

good for business dinner
I needed a place for a dinner conversation with business associates. I phoned the day before to make sure this was going to work, since we were going to be there on a Friday evening. We had a round table for our party of five. Staff was attentive, got us in an out promptly (we were on a bit of a tight schedule); ambience including acoustics was perfect for our meeting, and the food was excellent.

Great place to relax for dinner
We were never rushed to clear our table when finished even though the restaurant was obviously very busy. They encouraged us to stay. Very nicely done!
6/22/2013 12:00:00 AM
We enjoyed our dinner! The food was creative and delicious. The service was sometimes a bit disjointed between food and drink service, such as no drinks offered at all before our server wanted to take orders for appetizers. Then the bartender had to come to take that order. Possibly something to do with the server being under 21? Just my guess. It was just a bit confusing from time to time, and we had to wait longer than we wanted for the drink service. Otherwise, we were very happy with our experience and would go back.

Had a wonderful breakfast at Suzette's Creperie. We will definitely be returning soon!
7/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
Afternoon Tea at Suzette's a treat not to be missed. Be sure to eat lightly in the morning. There are 3 courses - sandwiches, scones and a dessert of your choice. We had the English tea, with 5 different sandwiches. The food was wonderful and better then what was offered at the Drake the last 2 times I have gone. Great atmosphere and service!

I have been to Suzette's many
I have been to Suzette's many times and no matter what I order the food is always delicious!
I had the sole and my dining companion had the quiche; we sat in the tastefully decorated
dining room. Dessert was outstanding, we had bananas foster crepes and a coconut
mango concoction on the patio and listened to gypsy-jazz music.
I felt like on was on vacation!
One thing, the service was slow. I, also think they need more bus boys.
The hostess was actually bussing tables. We had to wait quite awhile to be seated
for dinner and to be seated again in the patio for dessert. because she was

Breakfast inside was very tasty, with a beautiful place settong and attentive wait staff. The combo percorming on the patio was the perfect appertif!

A neighborhood Gem....but pricey
Suzettes is a lovely neighborhood restaurant with a lot of ambience, but pricey for what we got. This was my first trip to the restaurant. I took my friend there for her birthday. We both had the French Gimlets to celebrate her birthday, which were wonderful, with surprising ingredients. A refreshing summer drink. We also both had the chicken crepes. While the flavor was very good, they were too pricey for what we got (less than 1/4 cup of chicken, with too much sauce.) . The dessert we had, however, was deliciousl and priced reasonably for the portion we received. We would like to come back for lunch, but only if they reeveluate the price/ content of their chicken crepes. Also, the wait staff was very attentive and accomadating.

I have been to Suzette's twice now and both times have been a great experience. First visit was on Bastille Day in 2012 with my parents and friends. We dined outside and it was a bit loud with the jazz music, but I had no problem with that. The food was fantastic, but my favorite was the breakfast that my parents and I recently had. The Suzette's Benedict and french toast made with croissants are absolutely fantastic. It is truly a French cafe experience and is also comparable to those you will find in Quebec City. The service we had at breakfast was great.
7/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
The food here is amazing. I had the ratatouille crepe special, and the flavors were delicious and fresh. My friend had the chicken crepe, which she raved about as well. We split a bananas foster crepe for dessert, which was out of this world (and had they certainly didn't skimp on bananas!!). We split a half bottle of white wine, which was fantastic. The only complaint was the service. While our waitress was friendly, she disappeared toward the end of the meal (and the restaurant was not crowded). 20 minutes after finishing the dessert, she still was no where in sight, and hasn't brought the bill yet. Other than that, it was a great experience!
7/17/2013 12:00:00 AM
Lovely restaurant-the food was excellent, wine was wonderful, and the jazz quartet outstanding!

A night to remember!
Suzette's far exceeded any and all expectations that we had before going. Suzette's was highly recommended by reviews we read and friends we talked with. We enjoy celebrating our anniversary by going to a French restaurant each year. We have visited many of the top French restaurants in Chicago and the suburbs. Suzette's was by far the best we have been to. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, the staff were very helpful and attentive to us and the food was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed each and every dish we had. Typically, there are a few dishes we love, but at Suzette's we loved everything. I cannot wait to go back and tell all of my friends and family about it. If you enjoy French cuisine, Suzette's is a must.

First visit was great
This was our first visit to Suzette's. Our waitress was very helpful with the questions asked her suggestions were great. We will be back again. We could carry on a normal conversation without raising our voices.

Steak was served rare even
Steak was served rare even though I ordered it prepared medium. The server was understanding and polite, returned the steak to the kitchen and a new one was prepared and cooked perfectly. Other than this the meal was very enjoyable. Great French wine list as always.

Don't miss this Gem
Suzette's is a beautiful restaurant with great food. Allows open window/doors in front on a nice day and a secluded patio nicely laid out. There is also a take out bakery for sandwiches, bread an wonderful pastries.

Great French Restaurant
This is a wonderful French-style restaurant. Inside is very comfortable and the food is great, although not cheap. But on Friday nights the patio is perfect with a band that plays soft jazz and a wonderful tenor.

Amazing food, lack luster service
I've been to Suzette's several times now and they have outstanding food, but the service is pretty bad. I took a friend here for breakfast and it took about 15 minute to get someone over to even greet us. We asked for coffee which arrived quickly, but with no cream. That took about another 15 minutes to receive and the coffee had gone cold by then. We had asked for some waters about 4 or 5 times before finally receving a glass after we had already eaten our meal. I could have been more understanding if the place was packed, but there were only a few other tables that were there, so I'm not sure what happened.
8/17/2013 12:00:00 AM
Had lunch with a good friend to chat and catch up on what's happening in a very pleasant and leisurely setting, just perfect.

Memories of France and more
I've had the pleasure of vacationing in France and it was there that I discovered the joy of French food. Suzette's had a lovely menu with a description of French scrambled eggs. It was a fascinating little write up and, yes, I had to try the eggs - delicious. But more importantly to me, was the classy - yet - comfortable ambiance. You see, I took my Goddaughter there - her mother (my sister) died only 4 months ago. We've all been grieving and this was a perfect place to sit, relax and talk... decompress... especially since the kind waitress sat is in comfy chairs. This little gesture in this beautiful place, made a big difference in enjoying our time together.

Suzette's Creperie is a favorite
Suzette's Creperie is a favorite place of mine. I've dined there many times and always invite a friend or two to join me. This is a fabulous place morning, lunch and dinner. I highly recommend it.

Very nice small-ish restuarant. Limited menu but an expansive wine list.

First time to this restaurant - would definately return.

LOVE THIS PLACE
My friend and I come here annually to celebrate our birthdays. She comes all the way from Inverness. We love the food, the wine and the atmosphere. Can't get food like this anywhere else. Its also my mom and my favorite place so we try and get there a few times a year. Tea here is very enjoyable as well!
9/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
A superb place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Make sure you have a reservation no matter which meal you are going to be there for, seating is limited.
The bakery selections are divine. Prices are a tad high, but the menu is unique and the food is delicious.
10/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
I took my friend and her Mom to Sunday Tea at Suzette's to celebrate her engagement. As always the food was great and the ambience wonderful. Other than our service being a little slow (but we weren't in a real hurry), I was a perfect sunday afternoon! I have been to Suzette's many times and enjoyed it every time. This was the first visit for my friend and both she and her Mom thoroughly enjoyed it. I may use their small private room for a shower too!
10/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
The food, from appetizers to dessert, was outstanding. The pork tenderloin was delicious, as well as the sole, and steak au poivre. We also had the pumpkin soup, which was like a savory pumpkin pie. We also had the bacon wrapped scallops which were out of this world. In the style of true French dining, the food is served at a leisurely pace, so be prepared to spend at least 1-2 hours for your meal. My only complaint was the noise level of the live piano music. We found it to be too loud and had difficulty hearing each other. If it were quieter, it would be lovely background music. Otherwise, a perfect experience.

A hidden gem in Wheaton. Never disappoints. Salads are amazing as are the crepes. Sole Meuniere was delicious! Put this one on your list!

Donna and her staff never dissapoint. We've been going for many years. Only hiccup is new waitresses often do not have knowledge needed

Great little Gem
What a great find! Adorable place for breakfast with fabulous food. I love the European style of dining and it's nice to have that option in the Chicagoland area. I'll be back because there are so many things I want to try. The most disappointing thing was we picked up some French Macaroons at the bakery after we ate and they were stale. I wish we had been told that they were a day old before we bought them. For $1.25 each, a day old is a bit ridiculous.
10/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
I have been to Suzette's many times over the years and it never disappoints. Definitely a "chick" place for lunch -- not a man in sight -- but more couples-friendly at night. The food is delicious and the service is friendly and helpful and the desserts are fabulous. Ladies, gather your pals and have a great time at lunch.
10/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
Suzette's has always been
Suzette's has always been a favorite for ladies lunch or tea time! Food is always good but it has gotten a bit pricey for a neighborhood venue.

I love Suzette's! We had a quiet brunch here and loved it! The food & service are always wonderful!

Refined Business Lunch
I impressed my client with this local gem. We had a fantastic lunch, talked business and left happy. It was the perfect fall day for soup, and Suzette's selections fit the bill. I followed my pumpkin bisque with more tastes of autumn: the roasted vegetables and feta cheese crepe. Delish, again.
We also noticed the private party room, and he's going to keep it in mind for future events.

Great food and wine.
Great French wine list: wide price range was appreciated. Food was very good, and portions generous.Every thing our party of 4 ordered was pronounced excellent by them. We will definitely return!
Lovely, cozy dining room.

Good French food.
The hot food was the right temperature.
Two for dinner with desert with tax ands tip was $100.

French Bistro in Wheaton
Suzette's Creperie is a wonderful little French inspired restaurant in Wheaton. My companion and I were not incredibly hungry but found the food irrestible. We enjoyed the sole mueniere and the pork medalions in cream sauce, and both were excellent, served with creamy mashed potatoes and vegetables. We indulged in a banana crepe for dessert with chocolate sauce and pecans, which was lovely and just right for two to share. I highly recommend Suzette's.

50th Birthday lunch
We had a wonderful, leisurely birthday luncheon for my niece. We had all been to Suzette's before which is why we chose this restaurant for this special birthday. And you had our favorite wine! We all ordered differently and all enjoyed which is unusual in a group of five somewhat picky eaters. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.
11/8/2013 4:00:00 PM
A real gem!
My husband and I both had the lamb chops for our main course. It was superb! Shared an appetizer of mussels with chorizo. Excellent, although I would not have chosen pommes frites to serve with the mussels. Seemed like an odd combination. Fresh bread to dip would have been my preference. Nonetheless, our whole dining experience was lovely and we always look forward to returning to Suzette's.

For several years my daughter-in-law, granddaughter and I have celebrated the beginning of the Christmas Season with a traditional Christmas Tea. We have been to several of the hotels in downtown Chicago but I must say the experience at Suzette's was the most relaxing and enjoyable. Not only was the food delicious but the environment, service and welcome feeling we experienced from the moment we arrived was, by far, superior to past Christmas Teas! We were not rushed and had more tasty treats than we expected. We will be returning to Suzette's next year!
11/30/2013 4:00:00 PM
Give yourself plenty of time to dine at Suzette's-luch was about 2 hours! This is one of my favorite places to eat because it is local but the service and atmosphere make you feel you are in another country(France...) The portions are manageable and menu has something for everyone. One of the best things is the Christmas Tea which happens from Thanksgiving until after Christmas. They also have a great walk-up bakery for wonderful take out pastries and desserts as well as coffee. I also love the bar area-very warm and inviting. It is really nice to sit down, relax, and enjoy a great eating experience!

This was really nice--food was good and ambiance great! Will definitely make this a holiday tradition

What a Fantastic Find!
Were we ever lucky when we decided to "check out" a local eatery that would be new to us. We found Suzette's and we are thrilled that we did! They were so friendly, we almost felt like"family." The service was exceptional, including the wine recommendation. The food was out of this world! We have never had better French Onion soup in our lives! Both entrees were so tasty, we had to make sure we didn't get caught "licking our plates clean." Even the coffee was so fantastic that we bought a bag of their private blend to take home. We also had to try an item from the bakery that caught our eyes... which made an excellent late night snack. We will return frequently to try more and more of their menu. It is GREAT ! ! !
