It was so Noisy we left. There was a large group
That should have been placed in a seperate room.
My husband I could not talk to our friends or each
Other because of the noise. It was very disappointing

We had a wonderful dinner
We had a wonderful dinner here. Food was delicious and the service outstanding. We arrived and wanted to sit outside. The maitre d Matthew found just the right table for three of us. Unfortunately it started to sprinkle, but he quickly moved us inside to another nice table. Food was delicious and well presented. My daughter is vegan and they were easily able to make her a beautiful grilled tofu dinner. The chilian sea bass was fabulous. Matthew was attentive but not annoying, checking in to see if everyting was to our satisfaction.
The desserts were awesome.
Best dinner we had on Marco by far.

Fabulous experience at Kurrents!
Had a fabulous dinner at Kurrents in the Marriott Resort on Marco Island. The ambiance was lovely, modern but elegant with sort of a sea theme. There was live music, a piano player who was very pleasant to listen to while dining. Chose the sea bass as my entree and was blown away by how good it was. Truly the best sea bass I have ever enjoyed! As a fun note the menus are lighted, what a great idea! Great location, great food, great service. Highly recommend!

The food was delicious and
The food was delicious and beautifully presented, the service was excellent. The salad I ordered came so prettily presented, I took a photo and sent it to my son. My husband ordered the ribeye and I had the sea bass, which had been recommended by our server. It was fresh and flavorful. The creme brulee came to the table with the sugar topping flaming. Once the flame went out, it was softly caramelized - perfect.

We visited Kurrents in April and had a table on their small outdoor patio. It was beautiful - very peaceful and pretty. Service was excellent- food delicious. As a note, we had to move inside because of a sudden rain and it was more lively inside. The staff did everything to accomodate the move inside.

Dennis did a special job reaching
Dennis did a special job reaching out to my special request for champagne for my VIP group. I think our server, while extremely gracious and competent, was overworked that night, leaving some gaps in meeting our needs. Phil haad a great service attitude, but seemed to be stretched a little thin.

We entertained a few friends to dinner at Kurrents and were very appreciative of the enticing menu selections and wonderful food and service. Highly recommend. Would go again when visiting.

Excellent dining experience
The service was very pleasant from all staff members. The food was high quality. My husband had their signature Sea Bass, and is still talking about 2 days later. I ordered the Filet Mignon and that was an excellent cut of meat. The potato royal side with the steak was out of this world. We celebrated my birthday, and received a complimentary Chocolate Souffle and homemade ice cream....YUM!!

Fabulous Fine Dining
Kurrents was everything I hoped it would be and more. We were looking for a romantic couples evening with the finest food and wine selections available in Marco Island. Upon our arrival, the door was opened for us with a flourish and we were greeted with a respectful welcome. The sound of tinkling crystal and live jazz piano playing lured us in. We started off with the lobster bisque, followed by the heirloom tomato and fresh motz salad. My husband ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and it was amazing. I ordered the scallops which were succulently Devine. We languished in the ambiance with the 150 year Grand Marnier. We have already recommended Kurrents to all our friends and acquaintances. We can't wait to return next summer.

About what I expected
Had dinner with a group of friends while down for a wedding. Restaurant was nice. Food was very good. I had a perfectly cooked steak, and tried some of my wife's Seabass which was delicious. Price was not cheap but not too crazy either. Worth a shot if you are staying at the hotel and don't want to eat around noisy kids.

Not your typical Hotel restaurant
This dining experience is very good inside the Marriott Marco Island. One of the best restaurants on the island and on par with most fine dining establishments. Very varied seafood and meat selections that are all very well prepared.

A Ruth Chris experience
My husband and I are staying at the Marriott where Kurrents is located. The server was very friendly - she asked if we were celebrating anything special that evening - we were - our 1 year wedding anniversary. At the end of the meal we got a complimentary dessert. Delicious. My husband got a gin and tonic (very strong) and I got the recommended martini - very yummy. They also have an extensive wine list. For an app we got the calamari & rock shrimp. $15. Enough for 2. It was nothing special. Dinnet: The filet was perfectly cooked and it came with 2 sides - potatoes and mushrooms. $44. My husband got the Sea bass - $32. Also, very fresh band tasty in a sugary glaze. We would definitely go back - next year.

Our waiter Philomena was given excellent reviews before and it is true Philomena was phenomenal. So was the sea bass and the rest.

Excellent Food and Service
Everything that we had at Kurrents was fresh and delicious from our appetizers to our entrees. The service was also fantastic because the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

Good food, nice staff, lacks view
We stayed at the Mariott and ate at Kurrents for my birthday. It is their fine dining option. The food was very good and our server was great. It's a shame that for a resort on the beach that the restaurant doesn't overlook the water.

Good meal-Great service
Kurrents was one of the better meals we had on Marco. Food was pretty much on point (steak was a little dry but it was cooked properly). Fish was fresh and was delicious. By far, the best cocktails on the Island-perfectly made. Also, the service was superb. Place was empty except for one couple when we arrived at 7 but by 8pm, almost every table was taken. We had a 9 year old with us and they did have a kid's menu for her. It is a nicer restaurant for Marco Island compared to some we went to or saw. A little disappointing that people were coming in to dine in tank tops and ragged shorts but it seems "Island Casual" is the dress code at most places. After dinner it was nice to walk out to the beach and watch the entertainment and people.

4 of us went there as our
4 of us went there as our fancy dinner night while on vacation. Food was the highlight of the experience. The chefs cooked everything perfectly and we were all happy with our meals. Dessert menu wasn't anything exciting. They were very knowledgeable about the menu with regard to food allergies and were very accommodating. Didn't really love the ambiance and decor of the restaurant - it could definitely use an update. But the menus were very cool - they light up. And I love the open kitchen setup. Nice proximity to the beach so we took a nice after dinner stroll too.

Always a favorite
We first dined at Kurrents many years ago and continue to have the same excellent dining experience that we have always had. The seafood is especially fresh and prepared to make you want to reorder the same thing on your next visit. However, the variety on the menu provides many more delicious choices. Whatever we have tried, we have enjoyed thoroughly. With the addition of the Chef's Sweet Tasting, dessert is not only outstanding, but in small enough portions to allow the diner to become just so full, not stuffed!

Good, but short of expectations
Upon arriving we found this restaurant to be elegant. We ordered a four-course special for $40 which included lobster bisque, salad, choice of entree (chicken, salmon, or steak), and dessert. The food was very good, but not exceptional. Same with the service; it could have been better. The experience was nice but not memorable. Overall, very good but we felt like there was potential for excellence. Did not meet our initial expectations.

Awesome in Marco Island
Awesome food and service after watching stunning sunset. I gave them a heads up that my wife had food allergies and that we were celebrating 30th anniversary. In each interaction, they brought it up before I could and even bought us a dessert. Wife got the filet and I had the sea bass and both were delicious. I ordered the most unusual dessert I've ever seen- Soup and Sandwich that was awesome. I was also pleasantly surprised at the reasonableness of the tab given the resort setting. Wanted to go back the next night but just ran out of time. Highly recommended.

Kurrents is Amazing
Our dinner at Kurrents was not only delicious, but our waitress Susan, hostess Katie and manager Dennis were all outstanding! The menu items and offerings were beautifully prepared and presented. The Sea Bass is a must. My 10 and 12 year old daughters split the filet (the kitchen graciously did so for them) and it was delicious. The wine list is lovely with some nicely priced bottles to choose from. I cannot wait to go back again when we are in Marco in the spring. I truly think this is the best food on the island, don't overlook it because it is in the Marriott. Even if you are not staying there, it is worth going!

Wonderful anniversary dinner
We really enjoyed our evening at Kurrants celebrating our 15th anniversary. Both the hostess and our server, Enzo, were fabulous in recognizing this as a special event. Enzo colorfully described the menu, making food and wine recommendations which were right on the mark. They brought us a special dessert, and sang to us, which was a first for us and helped to make it fun and memorable. We had calamari and shrimp as an appetizer, and for dinner husband had sea bass, I had stuffed grouper, and son had 14-oz. steak, all of which were enjoyed. Timing was all seamless. Our German hostess, who had been married for 52 years, gave us her congratulations and was gracious to share some secrets of a long marriage with us. Very special evening.
