amazing french food
all the food was amazing. Order the bagguette, it is amazing. would be nice if it came with dinner instead of $3, but it is well worth it and all the other food we ordered was amazing!

Lovely, relaxed service.

I loved Cyrano's - we started
I loved Cyrano's - we started with the baguette, mussels and the french onion soup. Fortunately we waited to order our entree because we were already full. We did end up splitting the ratatouille which was delicious as well. Next time, we will skip the appetisers and go straight for the entrees - there were so many I wanted to try!

Charming ambiance & wonderful food
Cyrano's has never disappointed me! Excellent food and wine in an inviting and charming atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Good food and music
The menus was not overwhelming. I enjoyed the grilled tuna, my husband ordered grilled salmon it was delicious too. Mr. Farnell Jenkins provided entertaining musical selections from Motown to the Beatles. It was a pleasant experience.

It was our first time here for the four of us. I had heard so many good things about Cyrano's. It was my turn to select our next restaurant pick. So glad that I selected Cyrano's. It was absolutely divine! The artisan bread with the garlic roasted butter was delicious. We had the dates wrapped in beacon for an appetizer. I had for the very first time duck which was absolutely heaven sent. While the others had chicken and red meat with great tasting french fries. We were left speechless. We usually don't order dessert but we had to finish this delightful dinner with something sweet. I ordered the peach torte, while my friends had the bread pudding, the hard cheese with fruit, nuts and bread and the chocolate truffles. Fabulous!

Our server was excellent and offered tasty suggestions. I doubt you could have a bad meal here. Chef Didier visited all the tables to check on our dinig experience.

A GOOD EXPERIENCE
I didn't think I would find the place appealing but I did.
I came because of Yoko Noge performing. However, food was tasty and presented well.
The servings were not generous, but just enough for me.
Many may not appreciate the portions though
The service was excellent. The waiter was very helpful and not intruding.
We had a fine time despite being in the 'basement."

3-time is a charm
actually the first two times were pretty good, too. 3-time however, we ate in the 'basement'. love that cozy little area and will hope to be seated down there every time.

Business Lunch Spot
If you are looking for a quiet place for a business lunch this is the perfect spot! The lunch menu is diverse and light, and the service was spectacular. We were able to have a private conversation that was uninterrupted. Wonderful!

The Perfect Restaurant
The food is always good and the ambience is the best! It is difficult to find a place that is conversation friendly on a Friday night in Chicago or any night for that matter. Cyrano's offers a great place to have a nice dinner and conversation with out yelling across the table. And the staff is just the right amount of attendant.
Such a great place - it is now my family's favorite in the city.

wonderful date night experience
We sat in the Barrel Room on a Thursday night. There was a musician that played the piano and sang. The chef came out and spoke to the patrons that were in the room. The room itself is small and intimate. It was not crowded but I imagine if more people knew about it, it would be. The food was delicious also. It all seemed very fresh and superbly prepared. We stayed for hours and didn't realize it because we were just enjoying the ambiance. We will be back.

Two successful visits
One Tuesday lunch visit = great food, poor service from server but chef came out to make sure all okay (nice!). 2nd visit, Saturday at 5-7:30, great food, hit with varying age groups and eaters ( toddler to 60 yo frequent Paris visitors), server much better but very quiet, no chef visit. Both visits = dead restaurant (concerning bc it's a gem) and SLOW European type service/flow of food, but really yummy food (classics and interesting taste combos). Plus I think the pricing is exceptional for quality and quantity. Maybe slow business due to location?

The food, ambience and music are pure France. Our Waiter was a wonderful server, very personable and conversant.
They also have a caberet downstairs which is quite fun.
Skip the outdoor patio as it is very blah.

French Night Out
Went in for Julia Child's Week for a girls night out dinner. Havent been since they changed to Cyrano's Farm Kitchen. Liked the decor/ambiance. Great menu to pick from. Our server was a young and very quirky fellow! When we asked, he did offer up his suggestions. For being a very slow eveing our service was very slow. We had a hard time finding our server but, the food was delicious! Everything we ordered we enjoyed. This is one of my favorite places in this neighborhood, a gem. Lovely to see the Chef too before we left for the evening.

The food was delicious. The onion soup was a delight and the lamb melted in your mouth. Service was super and we really enjoyed this meal. Unfortunately for us we could not stay for the downstairs entertainment which I am sure would have been fun.

Great low key spot!
Cyrano's is fantastic. The decor is very understated and the staff is very friendly. The food that comes out is so incredible, from the presentation to the taste. Our server was great. It was his first day serving, but we only knew that because it came up in conversation. He was very knowledgeable, and very funny. He was attentive, but not annoyingly so. This was our second time here, but it has been a while. We will not be waiting nearly as long to go back!

Met my expectations
I saw the profile of Cyrano's Farm Kitchen on Open Table and was intrigued by the picture of the food offered. I chose the grilled Salmon and my guest chose the Steak frites. Everything was perfectly cooked and was delicious

Easy Does IT
We had reserved for 4 at 7 and when we arrived before 6:30 there was no hassle. We ordered the charcutte assortment and baquette for the table = delicious but more than enough for 4. Escargot = first rate. 2 ducks=great, although one ordered medium and the other well but no difference. 1 gentleman raved about his salmon and the other thoroughly enjoyed his lambshanks. One couple shared a ratatouille with gusto and the other enjoyed the tiny double brulee's. I was enthralled with a sparkling rose cava before and a great glass of rose with my meal. We were totally unrushed but in the end the charge machine broke so we're waiting to see what comes for the bill---which our young server said they had done "rubbings" of our cards to manage!

Cyrano's Farm Kitchen was
Cyrano's Farm Kitchen was a hit!!! :) Small French restaurant has wonderful food, weekends live music and great atmosphere. Chef Didier Durand brings the traditions of hearty, healthy cuisine and warm hospitality to life.
What a refreshing way to serve foie grass - it was exceptional, I couldn't get enough of it!
La Petite Crepes with braised beef bourguignon were fantastic and the chicken liver mousse with a hint of orange was delusions! Mussels in white wine souse ( not the best I had ) but really good. I can only say that the selection of cheeses and service could be little better. Fantastic food, music and atmosphere - this is a great place to spend cold evening in Chicago!
