My husband and I have tickets
My husband and I have tickets to the Celebrity Speaker Series at The Flint Center, and have made it a habit to stop by Park Place before-hand for wine and appetizers. Since the bar & restaurant are always packed at that time, we've learned to make a reservation through Open Table; that way we can be sure of having a place to sit. The food is terrific and plentiful; the service is usually good (although when things get super-busy, the caliber of service diminishes somewhat). The patio is lovely when the weather's warm...otherwise it's best to sit inside (be prepared that this is not the ideal spot for a quiet, romantic conversation). Overall, we always enjoy our dining experience at Park Place, and look forward to our next visit.

Food, Service and ambiance is great. I can't say enough good things about park place. We decided to try their Easter brunch, based on good past experiences with Park Place. The food was awesome, the brunch was affordable, we are hoping they will do Easter brunch again next year.

Great Mother's Day brunch
Have gone here for Mother's Day brunch for the last 3 years. Will definitely go again. Food is very good, not outstanding but very good for brunch. Service is also very good. Gets quite noisy in the big dining rooms with lots of kids, but that is to be expected for Mother's Day.

We had the Mother's Day Brunch
We had the Mother's Day Brunch here and it was lovely. We sat outdoors because I made a mistake online in the number in our party and it was the best seat in the house. It did not seem like we were next to a major street(De Anza). It was a real oasis. The champagne brunch was lovely and enjoyable. Loved the fruit, the bread pudding was delicious, loved the prime rib.

We had dinner at Park Place for our weekly date night. Both our meals were very delicious.

We got there early and were accommodated by the staff. Really liked the menu. Small plates, appetizers, full meals. We each got 2 small plates and brought some home. The seared ahi salad was great. Lots of really tasty ingredients including quail eggs, olives... tasty dressing. Hog heaven was aptly named, small plate of sausage, slow cooked pork belly (the best) and pork tureen( I think that's how it's spelled. Sort of a pancetta wrapped pork pate). My wife wouldn't have eaten those things but she did enjoy the braised pork with fries and. Drinks were good.

Very nice space in the Cypress
Very nice space in the Cypress Hotel. It has a great bar and the dining area is small but comfortable. The food was very good and the service was great. Overall, we had a great dinner and will go back soon. What a great find thanks to OpenTable.

We've never had a bad meal or a negative response to dining here.

A genuine Find
My husband and I took my Mom to dinner Saturday night and we were pleasantly surprised at what a great local find it was. We have lived in Cupertino since 1965 so know the town well. We were looking for something local a cut above the norm. We sure found a great restaurant! The food was delicious.

Something for Everyone, Truffle Fry
We searched out a spot that had a reservation for 7 at 8pm on a Saturday night, after we had to unexpectedly abort our plans at another restaurant due to their computer system failure. Immediately after I booked, the hostess called my cell phone to be sure I was OK with the table options they had available (high table or outside); I was impressed with the consideration. The high table was surprisingly comfortable. This is in the Cypress Hotel, which might be off-putting had it not gotten good reviews here. It was quiet but lovely. I had tuna tartare with avocado and grilled corn, soy sauce and wontons--oh, so tasty on that hot day. Several in our party had burgers--very good, I heard. But the truffle fry that I stole--outrageous!
6/29/2013 12:00:00 AM
Their Park Burger is very unique; served with pork belly and an egg. I think they ground their own hamburger too. Fries are cooked nice and crispy. With the Park Burger. the fries come with truffle oil...tasty.

I went to Park Place to celebrate my friend's birthday. It was my third time, but this time was early Sunday evening and it was very quiet. Two time prior times were very crowded and noisy on week nights. I commented Opentable reservation that 'if we order a dessert, please put a candle because it's my friend's birthday' but we were too full after the meal and ended up not ordering any dessert. To my surprise, our wait person brought a "cake with candle" and gelato ice cream. That was very nice touch. Thanks!

Lunch at Park Place
Three of us were seated on the outdoor patio which was shaded and very comfortable. Our waiter provided excellent service and was very helpful in explaining the many menu choices. My cobb salad was so fresh and (small size) generous in proportion. Our table also enjoyed pulled pork sandwiches on really fresh buns made in-house. Overall we all agreed we'd come back. The only negative was the soup - which was delicious but was barely lukewarm.

Everthing I hoped it would be.
Read reviews on Yelp. Couldn't wait to try the food. Parking is bad but everything else about the restaurant was great. I enjoyed the food, the outside seating (with heat lamps) and the service was really good.

Great for hotel restaurant
Great little hotel restaurant. Lots of variety and interesting combinations of flavors.
Overall successful menu.

Miss the Ravioli!
Brad is one of the best Chef's around so all of his food is fabulous. But I greatly miss his signature Ravioli. Please please please bring it back!

We didn't know that the Cypress Hotel had such a wonderful restaurant with many organic ingredients. Excellent cocktails, fresh food, and very pleasant dining experience overall. Loved the truffle oil fries, exceptional turkey burger, amazing corn chowder. They also made a beautiful dessert for me with Happy Birthday on the plate. Highly recommend.

This place is fantastic!
Came for dinner again. Everything was wonderful and the service was especially great. Thanks Park Place! See you next time!

Worth Trying This One
Being from out of town I found this restaurant on the internet; our group ranged from 22 to 88 years old; atmosphere and vibe worked well for all of us; service was good, friendly and not intrusive (we don't like to be interrupted every few minutes); I had the Asian Chicken Salad--it was good but not very inspired--I prefer a more vibrant dressing; the Falafel Burger and the Grilled Chicken Sandwich were a hit with others at the table and it was a split decision on the Crab Benedict. One of our group has special dietary needs and they were very accommodating which I appreciated. I would definitely go back!

Fit for my needs
Was looking for a place to have a brunch not too casual like similar to coffee shop but not for heavy meal either.
Parking was easy- Cypress Hotel garage.
Place was clean and quiet and our table was ready for us when I showed up 15 mins early..
Price was in reasonable ranges, ie: $8 for soup and $11+/- for most dishes on brunch menu. They have generous serving size for each dish we ordered - bowl of dungeness crab soup(lots of real crab meat) and various omelets
Noisy level was low so I think it's a great place to go back i with a couple of friends to catch up.
Al fresco table looked very relaxing and comfortable, even though we stayed inside.
Overall: Good location, clean place and reasonable price with good food.

Great Hotel Restaurant
Park Place is in the Cypress Hotel, Cupertino. We have somewhat of a regular here because the food is very good as is the service. My wife orders the Park Place Burger 75% of the time and it is typically cooked to perfection. It is served with a slice of pork belly, an egg and homemade tomatoe sace. It comes with Truffle fries which is too overpowering for me but the wife likes it. I had the cobb salad and was pleasantly surprised at the freshness and the excellent variety of ingredients, e.g., hardboiled egg with the egg white and egg yolk served (chopped) separately, flavorful bacon, large chunks of chicken, blue chees with a ranch like dressing.

The waitress and bartenders
The waitress and bartenders were extremely friendly and accommodating. I was with a bachelorette party who was ready to have some good food and some fun....and there was also a wedding party in the bar area. So the 2 scenes mixed well. The bartenders were extra nice to my friend getting married and really was on top of it. Great dinner - especially for not having to leave the hotel.

We had missed happy hour but ordered some drinks anyways. Tried their berry mojito and it was very light and yummy. It was so good I ordered a second one, asked them to make it stronger and with less ice. The second one was truly the winner. We also had their amazing bread pudding. It was really the reason we were there, to have the bread pudding again.

Dinner before the show
Park Place took good care of our group and got us out the door on time! Food and drinks were very good.

Hidden Dining Gem
Great place to eat! The food was excellent and price was just right.
10/16/2013 5:00:00 PM
The small dining area and bar are contiguous, so it was quite noisy on an early Friday evening. The menu is small, but very creative, and the food was excellent.

The food here is top-notch.
The food here is top-notch. Chicken and waffle sandwich, porkbelly burger and truffled mac and cheese are amazing! I have never been disappointed with meal at Park Place.

Perfect lunch meeting spot
This is one of my favorite lunch spots for business meetings. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I have never had a bad thing off of the menu. They are constantly working to have unique specials everyday so things on the menu never get stale. My favorite is that they always have a special lemonade from raspberry to mango to strawberry and beyond.

Great "hidden gem" in cupertino
The menu, food, environment, service wasall spectacular -- I think it get overlooked because it is in a hotel, but it was a terrific meal! We had kids with us too, and they loved the food too. Gorgeous little patio for cocktails too. The menu had an excellent selection -- hightly recommend the flatbread appetizer (mushroom/arrugula was a favorite), the New York steak is beautifully prepared, and we loved these sides: Mushrooms, Chard, Potato Gratin and Mac & Cheese. Generous portions and well priced. Other guests at our table enjoyed the pork chop and that was also great.

We tried this place for the
We tried this place for the first time before going to a show in Mountain View. It's very informal but yet offers upscale food. We had the mushroom flatbread which was great and also the falafel burger. We also had minnestrone which had a bit of spice to it and was clearly fresh and home made. For dessert we had the bread pudding as Derica our waitress told us that that was one of their special desserts. She was right - it was very good.
Derica was a very good server and was very attentive to re-filling water glasses regularly. We would definitely come to this place again.

We were there for Sunday Brunch, arrived and seated on time. Our waitress was Very attentive to our table Immediately and food was served in about 10 minutes. For a Sunday Brunch in Cupertino, this is a Hidden Jem in my estimation. Moderate prices are Great, indoor/outdoor seating we arrived at 11:30 after 1st quarter of Sunday Football and service was Great.

Fabulous Flint Center pre-show meal
Park Place was smaller than I expected. We (husband, wife, teen son) enjoyed ourselves. We were there at 6, too early to know what it would be like later, and on a Wed. night.
The driveway/parking is rather confusing. You need to turn into the hotel parking, before you're really sure that is where you want to be for Park Place.
The staff was wonderful, all of them. Kind, professional and helpful.
The food was even more delicious than I expected. The complimentary bread basket with garlic butter was delicious! Though would be even better warmed... We ordered the duck nachos, (yummy!) the short rib fries (I don't know how the fries stayed so crisp - amazing & my favorite) the beet salad (tasty!) flatbread (very good). Desserts delicious
