Very creative and enjoyable
The food at Spice Market is inventive and delicious. The portions are just right for two or three people to share and then move on to the next terrific dish. If one particular dish does not quite strike your fancy, don't worry -- the next one is coming soon, and it will knock your socks off. The only thing that keeps me from giving the atmosphere the highest rating is the design of the semi-circular booth we had; the angle for the outboard seats is all wrong, and you have to sit sidesaddle to be square with the table. Not a big deal, but ask for a conventional table or one of the conventional booths.

Very modern and fancy decor.
Very modern and fancy decor. I brought my parents here, and they liked it, even though the upbeat music was better tailored to a younger crowd. Food was good. My parents' salad was too salty for them, though when they told the waitress that, she apologized and did not charge them for it. (I think that she also offered to get them something else or another salad, but they declined because we were pressed for time.)

This place is one of my girlfriend
This place is one of my girlfriend and my favorites in Atlanta, we particularly like the ginger margaritas, the tuna tartare appetizer, and the chili rubbed short rib dish. The papadum they give you as a snack are really delicious too.

Exceptional dining experience
What a find! Spice Market is in the "W" hotel; not to worry, your parking ticket gets validated. We were seated at a very comfortable table surrounded with pillows for extra back support and coziness. My husband and I ordered the tasting menu of 5 courses. It was the perfect way to get a sampling of all of the chefs offering. Some of the samples were served individually and others we shared. I would prefer to have my own sample and pass what I can not finish onto my husband. That way, I do not have to eat fast to keep up with his tempo. Every bite we took was an explosion of tastes that will excite your palate! Each presentation was an art form. There was not one item in our tasting that did not leave you wanting to come back for more.

Inspired menu fell slightly short of expectations, very good food but not great

We selected Spice Market because of the scoutmob deal, but I would definitely go back regardless of having a deal. We had fantastic food and wine, and the best part was the ambiance and excellent service that you can't find at any restaurant in Atlanta. I think I'll plan a group dinner at Spice Market soon!

The Tasting Experience
This was our first trip here and the host recommended that we share a tasting menu and it was FAB! We enjoyed all the flavors we got to sample and for him to suggest we share one was a nice tip as we did purchase an additional appetizer but it was a perfect amount. Highly recommend the blackened shrimp app and the halibut - those were our favorites. Skip the edamame as it is served with butter and is not the same - save it for your sushi dining - the spice market as better app options.

Great service and food
The menu had changed since the last time we did and we had questions. James, the manager, happened to stop and did an excellent job explains the menu and making recommendations. We picked a couple of items he suggested and was not disappointed at all. The pepper shrimp appetizer was amazing and could easily be an entre addition. Gerwurtraminer is my favorite wine so when I saw the Passion Friut Sangria I had to try it - fabulous! We were there celebratingy birthday and they top it off with a surprise complimentary dessert. Overall, great experience.

I tried the tasting menu and it was a fabulous way to explore the menu. I would highly recommend it. The service was wonderful. Our server was very attentive and helpful explaining the dishes. Looking forward to my next trip to Atlanta and another great meal.

Fantastic Mix of Asian American
This restaurant located inside of the W hotel is a definite go to! The food was fabulous and the drinks were simply divine! You must try their signature drink of ginger margarita; I have never tasted a drink so good! The food was the right mix of American with an Asian twist to it. I had the garlic steam lobster. Although the portion was not large, it was delicious! I have had the salmon before and the portion was more generous and quite tasty too!
The service was impeccable! The hostess and waitress were fantastic and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and special! An added plus is that it is across the street from the 14th street theater. You get 3 hrs of parking free, and after that, it is a flat fee of $6.

Fun Tapas Style
We wanted to try a bit of everything, so we did several appetizers. The mushroom egg roll, chicken samoa and rice noodle was relish! Our favorite was the shrimp appetizer! Restaurant was intimate and swanky. Fun date night with my husband.

The service was excellent and the food was outstanding! The flavors of the sauces complimented the simplicity of the dishes and resulted in a feast for your taste buds. I'm not a fan of Asian food, but this has changed my mind. We have never been here before, but we will definitely come back. It was a wonderful evening.

Love the Ginger Margaritas!
I continuously come back for the ginger margaritas! This time though, the glass seemed to be quite smaller. The food was good but not as great as u have experienced in the past. The cabbage was very soggy and the food tasted sort of bland without help. Our waiter was stellar, but his busboy was quite the sad sack.

No spice needed at spice market
The food was presented with flair and panache by our excellent server. One of the best coconut chicken soups I have ever had. Try it its excellent. The snapper was also outstanding. This is a great place for downtown dining.

This is one of our favorite Asian restaurants in Atlanta. The food is fresh and inventive, the room is very appealing, there is always something for everyone in the family, and the service always is good. I will say it is a little pricey, but that's what you get for going to a W. I'm told you get a discount if you're in the Starwood Preferred program, but I always forget my card. Still, a really enjoyable place.
