I enjoyed an excellent meal
I enjoyed an excellent meal that was full of great flavors blended perfectly. Can't wait to return.

Okay, so the prime rib dinner was FABulous! So was Graham's choice of a cabernet to complement the flavors of this satisfying meal. If you live within driving distance of Table 16, and you didn't go tonight, you are a FOOL. What a treat! Friends of ours came from Burlington and even though they don't eat red meat, they did the chef's tasting and were WOWed. Who wouldn't be?

Graham and team never disappoint.
Graham and team never disappoint. This chef's table included quail, rock fish and rib eye - all perfectly matched with surprising wines and accompaniments. Even down to the bread and olive oil, an almost perfect meal.
Thanks to Katie for excellent service on a busy evening.

What a wonderful find in Greensboro
What a wonderful find in Greensboro. We enjoyed the Chef's tasting menu and did not regret one bite. We recommend that option to everyone. It's a way to enjoy a lot of different dishes.

Coming from Belgium I always look for the nicest restaurants in town. This was definitely a good choice. And I got to sit at TABLE 16, the table they named the restaurant after. I chose for the tasting menu and had 5 different dishes. Each one of them with its own special flavour. The portions were ideal, not to big, not to small. The wines that came with the food were chosen very well. I now understand why this restaurant is highly ranked. I had a very nice waitress, Katie, who asked whether the chef had to take into account any allergies. All in all a very good experience and when I come back to Greensboro, I will definitely stop by again at this restaurant.

Great menu, service, and ambience!
Arranged to meet with a new friend here(we met her previously at a Table 16 wine dinner.) Our waitress Emma was friendly and helpful with the menu. Even though she is relatively new, she was more than happy to help us with dietary restrictions and answer our questions about the new April menu. My husband had the bone-in filet and ate every bit of it! I had hanger steak and lobster tail - the buerre blanc was perfect! And we tried the pots de creme: oo-la-la! We had a great time. The place was buzzing with happy diners by the time we left.

TWICE IN ONE WEEK! What a treat!
Twice in one week? Why NOT? We'd been trying to get some friends to try Table 16 and they said they could go Friday! We had just been on Wednesday, but... SURE! The arugula and blueberries salad was a scrumptious starter (thanks, Chef!) We tried the pork this time, and OMG, the sweet potatoes were divine. Yes, divine. My husband never eats them, but he does now! We had enjoyed the bone-in filet and the hanger steak and lobster tail just 2 nights before, so we could heartily recommend them to our friends. They loved their entrees and the oysters. Then, pots de creme and coffee and... SMILES all around! We sat back, relaxed, watched the passersby (on First Friday, no less!) Matt was an EXCELLENT server, as usual. We'll be back again soon!

I think you simply need more
I think you simply need more floor space to achieve real ambiance, reduce noise, etc.
When you confirm reservations via e-mail (and your system works impressively) perhaps you could provide some parking instruction, especially after the new area at the end of the street opens.

It just gets better and better!
We went for Prime Rib Night (a once a month special) and it was even better than the last! The salad was mouth-watering good: fresh greens with red onion, some grated cheese, and a rosemary - chili pepper vinaigrette. I think that's right. Whatever it was, it was delicious! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, sitting comfortably on creamy mashed potatoes, with young carrots and a delectable Bordelaise sauce. This was complemented by a Tilia Cabernet, if I remember correctly. When it came time for dessert, Hubby and I didn't want to share, so we each got our own pots de creme. A wonderful meal at a great price! We slept well that night...

I was going to be away for
I was going to be away for a week and wanted a special night out with my sugar bear. So we decided to go to Table 16 and ... they seated us at Table #16! A memorable meal and a wonderful send-off. Katie was such a good server and the meal was fabulous! (As always.)

This place is awesome - hidden gem
I come here like others mostly for the High Point trade shows. I have been here a few times and the menu is always changing.
The chef absolutely kills it every meal and I can't recommend this place enough if you can get the reservation, book it!

Whereever we are, at home
Whereever we are, at home or on the road, we eat out every meal, usually fine dining. I never take the time to write reviews, even though many of our experiences are certainly worth one.
Table 16 changes that. It was everything one would want from a dining experience. From the moment we walked in the door and were greeted by Pat, we knew we were "home." She was the perfect hostess.
Then, the menu, presented by Emma our awesome server. Each item, even if one we had seen before, was combined with unique twists that had our mouths watering.
As we enjoyed each morsel, we were very pleasantly surprised to be visited by Graham (the chef), who even took the time to suggest one of the best wines we've had in years.

Exciting, Cool and Delicious
Really amazed by the menu...could have selected several different entrees. Loved the app and my tuna and crab entree. Was tempted by the tasting menu but it is about $10 too much for people to jump on. Wine list is very nice. Can't wait to go back...seriously.

Magnificent gourmet experience
Table 16 is our go-to spot for amazingly fabulous food. Always the best, every time. It's too pricey for us on a regular basis, but it is SO worth the expense now and then.

Excellent service, Great food
We arrived early and were seated promptly. Our waiter was top notch. I asked about the 4-course meal and was told the chef prepares something unique for each course. He asked about food allergies and warned us that the portion for this meal were small. As I wasn't hungery, I ordered this and am glad that I did! Each course, while small, was delicious. The chef clearly knows how to excite the senses as each dish proved very complex. Beautiful dish presentation and course timing. I wanted a smokey wine and the waiter recommended one that suited my craving exactly. Through the entire meal, the wait staff was attentive while not hovering.
The only issue was the table for two which was very long and not condusive to a romantic meal.

A wonderful dining experience
We met another couple for dinner at Table 16. It had been several years since we had dined at this restaurant. We were blown away. My Chilean Sea Bass was the best I had ever experienced with the flavor of the fish coming through without being covered up with encrusted ..... The wait staff was knowledgeable and the pacing of the meal was perfect allowing the four of us to converse without being rushed.

Best Resturant in Greensboro
Table 16 is the best Resturant in Greensboro. The menu is fresh as are the quality ingredients. Dishes are prepared in original, innovative ways. Very romantic setting. Excellent service. The perfect place for special occasions.
5/11/2013 5:00:00 PM
This is our second time to this restaurant for a romantic dinner in about a two week time span. This time we had the "dinner tasting." To say that it was superb...is an understatement. This has become our favorite restaurant for nights out. My wife and I are from NY and a major concern for us in NC was the restaurant scene. Needless to say the Piedmont Triad has several restaurants that are Manhattan grade and Table 16 leads the pack by far. From the fantastic and knowledgeable wait staff to the talented Chef/owner and his souz chefs this place is a must for all foodies. NO doubt we will be returning for many more enjoyable meals and evening at Table 16.

Food was wonderful, staff
Food was wonderful, staff was very informative and knowledgable about the dishes she was serving. Celebrated parents 54th wedding anniversary.
5/20/2013 4:00:00 PM
If you want a high quality meal with fresh food, table 16 is the place to go. They buy local and create a new menu each month. And, they actually care what you think! Great place.
5/20/2013 4:00:00 PM
Wonderfully creative and well
Wonderfully creative and well executed menu. Was all delicious. Service was informed, friendly and timely. However, the new age music, played too loud was very dreary and sleep inducing. A great evening of food and wine, despite the music! Would highly recommend for contemporary food fans.

We are from out of town and
We are from out of town and were looking for a great place to celebrate our daughter's graduation. We found it at Table 16. Our waiter (whose name I regrefully don't recall) was knowledgeable and engaging. He answered all of our questions with confidence and ease and offered helpful suggestions on food and wine. We really wanted to try the tasting menu, but had eaten a late lunch and didn't want just a few courses - we're holding out for six. We promised our daughter we'd come back for the tasting menu an other time.
A highlight was the parsnip soup - rich, flavorful-perfect blend. Thanks to the chef, Graham, who shared how he made it with my husband.
A MUST place to eat. We would be back tomorrow, if it weren't seven hours away.

Live in Winston Salem, but have to go to Greensboro for GREAT restaurants.
Table 16 is one of the best hands down!

Excellent Greensboro Restaurant
We had dinner at Table 16 on Friday night and were very pleased. My Chilean sea bass with trufles was superb, as was my wife's halibut. The spinach and creamed corn mixture that accompanied the sea bass was especially tasty. I started the meal with a mixed drink of white chocolate and grand marnier that was both tasty and creative. Dessert was a wonderful chocolate pot de creme that was just right. All in all, a fine meal. Service was also excellent; Emma explained the restaurant's philosophy of using locally grown food and previewed the dishes.

Can't wait to go back
Neither myself nor my date had been here before and now we can't wait to go back! The setting was great - we could have a conversation without shouting at each other and we did not feel crowded in the restaurant. The food was stunning - we thoroughly enjoyed fried oysters with cucumbers for an appetizer followed by flank steak and grilled wahoo and ended by some delicious creme brulee. Service was outstanding and everything was timed very well. We're looking forward to going back in a month when the menu changes up so taste their new creations!
6/14/2013 4:00:00 PM
This was our second meal at
This was our second meal at Table 16, and it was as good as expected. My ginger-piquillo pepper bisque was wonderful, spicy but not too hot. My grilled wahoo etoufee was also good, although it was a bit more Cajun than I might have like. (The word "etoufee" should have warned me.) We ate with another couple, and one of them remarked that the chef knew his Cajun cooking. Service was excellent, and the young lady who waited on us was knowledgeable and particularly patient in letting us talk to our hearts' content.
6/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
I loved the mix of elegant dishes in a relaxed and non-pretentious environment. The service was excellent and friendly. The owner/chef also came out and chatted and told us about other special evenings and deals the restaurant offered. Food was great. I recommend the tasting menu for the first visit. It is a bit expensive but if you go with the specials it is affordable.
6/18/2013 4:00:00 PM
It was my first time o visit the place and the experience was exceptional. We tried the Chet's tasting menu, and although the plates were small, we both left completely full. Great wine list, but not over the top from a price perspective. Service was great without being overbearing. It is located in a trendy area just outside of the main downtown area surrounded by antique and other eclectic stores and bars. I highly recommend Table 16,
6/25/2013 4:00:00 PM
I've been going to Table 16 for several years and we are NEVER, EVER disappointed! The team takes really good care of us, if we are there for a special occasion, they make sure to take special care of us! We LOVE IT!
The food is exquisite! That's the only word I can use to describe it!

We always have a wonderful meal and experience at Table 16!
7/2/2013 12:00:00 AM
Tasting menu is the best choice
If you've got the time and budget, the chef's tasting menu is the best option. You get small plates of most of the interesting items on the menu. I don't know how many different courses there were, because we stopped after maybe 7 or 8. Highlights of the last meal were prime rib with Yorkshire pudding (both delicious), a broiled halibut with cranberry beans that was crispy on the outside and tender inside. The cheese plate appetizer was very creative, too. We'll go back.
7/10/2013 12:00:00 AM
Never ever disappointed
Exquisite food, carefully prepared and presented. It is our "go to" special occasion restaurant as well as all around favorite, bar none!
Chef Graham has a gift in food preparation and creatively blends foods that one wouldn't expect to go together -- but they do, under his magic touch!

Excellent Dinner for Two
My wife and I enjoyed an excellent dinner at Table 16. I am gluten intolerant and the staff was aware and attentive to those requirements. In addition, the Chef/Owner, Graham Heaton, offered us several excellent wines at reasonable cost, and we selected a Russian river Chardonnay which went very well with our meal. We enjoyed wonderful guinea hen soup, and salmon on lentils. The Chef included arugula salad before the salmon, because he felt it would go well with the meal and the wine; it was a great touch and made for a very fine meal. The wine, meal, and the hospitality of the Chef/Owner and his staff made for an extraordinary fine dining experience, which we will repeat when we have the chance.

Chef's Choice Seafood
Halibut, Wreckfish then lobster all beautifully presented, perfectly prepared and with perfectly paired wines. One of our best nights among many at Table 16.
Chef Robert and team delivered a wonderful food experience.

Prix Fixe Menus
The special menus during the week are not only a great deal, but they are quite the experience. Chef Graham Heaton personally delivers some of the courses and provides a unique preparation.
7/29/2013 5:00:00 PM
Can't imagine ordering anything off the menu, the Chef's selection is so very delightful. Should've stopped after two savories, ate too much and paid more than we wanted. Had a wonderful time. Wait staff is friendly and personable.

Fantastic Anniversary dinner
My wife and i enjoyed the tasting dinner. The duck (which I don't care for) was fantastic as were the Tuna and Venison plates. The cheese plates were very memorable and the dessert was delicious. We will definitely return to this wonderful restaurant.
8/1/2013 12:00:00 AM
No wonder our NYC friends told is there was an amazing restaurant located in Greensboro. It's world class IMHO.
8/3/2013 12:00:00 AM
I am convinced, once again, that this is the best restaurant in Greensboro. If you don't give them a try you are missing out on an exceptional dining experience.
9/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
very very good
This was our first time at Table 16 and it was excellent. We had quail for appetizer and salads. Main course wagu beef and halibut. The only complaint was I wish steak was served hotter. Other than that it was incredible. Definitely will be back.
9/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
Best restaurant in the triad!
Everytime we go we are so impressed! If you haven't tried Table 16, you are missing out.

Good food, good time.
We had some friends here from out of town, and we wanted to take them to a nice restaurant. There are many in Greensboro, but the tasting menu experience at table 16 is delicious and fun. We enjoyed the prosciutto wrapped egg plant, baked oysters with spinach and hollandaise, and crab cakes the most. I ran into two co-workers that night also enjoying their dinner for a special occasion. I would highly recommend Table 16.

Excellent Fine Dining
Table 16 is a fabulous place for fine dining in Greensboro. The food is well prepared and not over seasoned as in several other decent places here. Portions are on the small side, but thus is food that is meant to be savored, not devoured. The staff is very knowledgable about the wine list. Many ingredients are locally sourced and the menu changes monthly so the chef can highlight seasonal items. A bit pricey, but worth it occasionally.
10/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
Glad to be back in NC again !
Table 16, from year to year keeps getting better and better.
10/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
Portions are small but wonderful
The food was very good but even more so the service was fantastic. We felt like kings! The food portions are very small for the price ( reminded me of the hip resturants in L.A.). Wine list amazing.
