We had a party of 8 for a bachelorette party/evening, which I booked online (by the way, that I found outstandingly convenient!). Great service with the confirmation call for the reservation and preference for sitting area. Our server Kyle was great too. Everyone had a great time for our first time dining at Tap and we would all recommend it.

Unique menu, reasonably priced.
Unique menu, reasonably priced. The black bean burger was really delicious, and they have a great beer selection. Seems like a good place for dinner before or after a show at the Alliance Theater or going out on Crescent St.

We had a party of 8 for lunch and we were served two appetizers and lunch and were out within an hour. Great service!

We had a great night. We went for my fiance's birthday. Service was a little slow but, timing was perfect if you aren't in a hurry. We had a couple of drinks and an appetizer. When we were finished our food came out. The night was perfect!

The wonderful selection of beers is always a reason we go to TAP. The food was also very good - all four of us enjoyed our selections. Especially the fried calamari.

Dinner&Drinks (Pre-Tab Benoit Show/
My guests, Beer Blues & Barbeque blogger, Louis Kittrell, wife Kim & Rhonda Singletary were pleased with the exceptional beer list knowledge of Tap. All of the brews served to us that evening were presented in the appropriate glassware & served at the proper temperature. Our meals were cooked to order & the presentation was spot-on. Thanks for the experience & we look forward to returning mid-summer.

A safe bet
I've been coming toTap for a few years now. Sometimes lunch, sometimes dinner. I've been for meetings and getting together with friends.
I'm not sure what the recent negative reviews are talking about. I've been twice in the last month and had the same experience we've always had. The food is great. The seasonally changing cocktails are creative and tasty. The service often leaves a little to be desired but not much that I'd complain. The valet parking is great. C'mon. Free parking in downtown Atlanta.
Always on the ball with reservations.
I can't complain.

Excellent supper before Woodruff Center concert. Great food and drink plus fine service.

Mother's day brunch
We were visiting from out of town and had a large group. TAP was happy to take our reservation-rare in Atlanta I found out. The red velvet pancakes are fantastic.

dinner before the fox
Tap was recommended and Saturday was the first time for us. Great waitress - attentive, friendly, and efficient. The food was very good and also timely. It was also nice to have runners who brought requested extra items and removed dirty dishes.
Thanks! And we will be back.

Bar food at its best
We always eat at Tap before going to the Symphony or High Museum. Great bar food with creativity and incredible selection of beers. I think they have about 50 beers on tap. Tap makes me feel, especially if we can get a table outside, like I'm in NYC.

Notable craft beer and food
We have visited Tap on both of our last visits to Atlanta. Great service both times. Love the Pub burger with homemade pickles that comes on an English muffin, the skinny crispy fries, and the fried green tomato gyro. Wonderful craft beer selection and both times they even brought us a couple of samples to taste. Amazing dessert too. Good outdoor patio. Make reservations if possible.

I'll be going back
I had the blackened chicken sandwich and I must say it was one of the best seasoned chicken sandwiches I've had in Atlanta! We went for lunch and I got a salad as my side that was also very tasty. The atmosphere was great, service friendly, view from our patio seating nice, and we were in and out in an hour. The place is also pretty reasonably priced in located in the heart of midtown. It seems like a spot you can go to for dinner or lunch, with one person or a group and have a great time & a stellar meal. I didn't try any of their drinks, but I'll definitely be going back!

Right at P'tree & 14th. In nice weather the patio is the way to go. Lots of street traffic which is nice. Menu is limited but the tacos are a good deal. Large beer list. Fair wine list but over priced.

Great Pre-show Experience!
We dined at TAP prior to a show at the Woodruff Arts Center. It was so convenient to be able to park, dine, and leave the car there while going to see the show. The Fried-Green tomato gyro was fantastic. I wasn't too big of a fan of the pinot noir on tap, but it appeared they had some other great selections on their wine list to choose from. We will definitely keep this as top option before a show at the Woodruff Arts Center.

Here was our problem:
Open table does not allow for reservations of 10. This is stupid, and I had to reserve a table for the maximum allowable, which is 8. I requested outdoor seating unless it was raining, and if it was raining, upstairs.
When we got to the restaurant, I was informed of a 20-30 min wait for outdoor seating, so I opted for indoor, which was downstairs. I'm not sure why there was such a long wait for a table I requested, reserved through your website.
The food was good, but my wife (we were celebrating her birthday) was the last to be served, a solid five minutes after the first plates arrived. I'm not sure why this was an issue either.

Midtown Gastropub with Character
TAP is a fun place with good design and a serious if whimsical menu. They have an extensive on-tap beer selection and the food is way above average pub fare. They also do fun stuff like pair a small milkshake with the burger, like a Wendy's Frostie. It's not on the items description in the menu but it's on the plate so it's a little surprise. Cool. There are other little easter eggs like that, it's fun and really good. Too. Maybe not the most healthful thing I can think of but, so what. Life is better with milkshakes and burgers definitely are. And with beer. Beer too.

Great for visitors & locals
I chose Tap for dinner when my parents were visiting from out-of-town for my cousin's wedding. They do not enjoy driving in the city & Tap was in walking distance of their hotel. The food is familiar enough that it was easy for them & my children to order, but it was by no means ordinary. There were some really special offerings that would make it a dining destination for everyone. The fried pickles were such a hit that we had to order a second round. The Peacemaker Burger was amazing on the Pumpernickel bun, & I made everyone try the spicy cucumbers that I ordered as my side. We will definitely be going back.

Perfect for visitors
Went on a Saturday night. The patio out front is so, so perfect. It is the right amount private, but lets you see what is going on in the area around. Everyone enjoyed the beers. The fit the atmosphere, fun and not too heavy. It was a really nice evening. We would go back.

Outstanding Brunch spot
Had a great Sunday brunch at Tap. It is an entertaining spot to sit outside in the middle of midtown. The food was very enjoyable. The breakfast enchilada covered in verde sauce was fantastic. In a town where its difficult to find a brunch spot that isn't a 45 min wait, this place was perfect.
9/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
The High Muesum is 1 block away and we've eaten there 2 weeks in a row. Good food, great location.

Solid brunch choices, plenty of beer, friendly bartender, and decently priced. 4th and Swift still has the best stick toffee pudding though!

Foodie Beer Place
My wife and I really enjoyed the experience at TAP. The name implies a beer joint, but TAP is much more than that. The food is gourmet and it has an extensive wine list. A great place to eat before a show or other event.

Great Spot for People Watching
We recently had brunch at TAP on a Sunday afternoon on the patio with a party of 5. It was a gorgeous day and the patio is perfect for people watching and enjoying the weather. The food is great - definitely try the fried pickles (even if you've had some you don't like before) and the fried chicken bennedict.
Service however was sub par, so don't go if you are thirsty or in a hurry to get somewhere. We weren't given water, plates for shared appetizers, or salt and pepper. Drinks took forever to come out if the waitress even remembered to put in our order.

Good. More vegan plz.
Great experience, fun atmosphere, great beer. Just wish the black bean burger was vegan (the waitress was nice enough to let me know it was made with egg). A vegan option would be great.

Good food great location to museums
We met our family here during Thanksgiving week and had lunch before strolling up the street to the High Museum. The lunch menu is small however tasty and the service was great. The atmosphere is simple and trendy with a view of everything on that corner. It was cold when we visited however the patio looks like a great place to meet friends, have a drink and people watch.
