Best in Northern Colorado
We're regulars at Chimney Park, and it's no surprise that we keep coming back given the unsurpassed food, quality of service and reasonable prices that put Boulder and Denver restaurants of lesser quality to shame.

Best dining in Northern Colorado
Chimney Park never fails to provide a wonderful dining experience. The food is artfully prepared...the presentation is beautiful and everything is prepared to perfection. CP uses mostly local produce, beef and buffalo for their meat entrees. The fish is always fresh and delightfully paired with vegetables and sauces.
It is hard to say enough good things about this restaurant. If I could, I would be there every night! Bravo to James, Jason and the whole staff at Chimney Park.

Taking it up a notch
I dined at Chimney Park this park week with some customers and was impressed, as always, with the food. I think over the years they have gotten better and better. They recently took out the back wall of the main dining room and added a small outdoor dining area, and the view really improves the ambiance of that part of the restaurant. Highlights of this week's meal were the stone fruit salads, hamachi crudo, scallops, and mushrooms (oh those local mushrooms!). We didn't even have room for dessert. I highly recommend this place, they remember you and always make you feel like a special guest.

We were a party of 5 and we did the tasting menu, which was different for each guest. The food was very good/excellent-good preparation and good portion sizes (easy to over stuff guests with a multi-course dinner) It was fun to see the variety. There were a few misses-I was served farrow twice and arugula twice-perhaps the server got confused. I also got an olive pit in one of my dishes. There were moderate gaps between guest getting the same course. My expectations were higher in regards to the service-for the price point I expected a higher attention to detail-the wine tasting progression was a bit scattered. Wine glasses were cupped in the servers hands instead of served from a tray.
We will be back-overall we had a great experience

small town gem
Tucked away at the end of main street...great food. I only wish they would change the location, as it is next to the worst Mexican restaurant ever, and across the street from the gas station.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Chimney Park. Nothing at all to fault.
6/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
The food was excellent. We had the four course chefs sampler with the wine airing and would definitely recommend to others.

Hoping to be back soon!!
I refuse to order anything off the menu other than the Chet's tasting menu and it never fails. The chef knows what's fresh and tells a great story with those ingredients! Wine pairings are always interesting and appropriate-we try and guess the varietal and what dish will arrive with them. Don't hesitate to ask for the wines written down to enjoy them again in the restaurant or at home!

Interesting menu for Front Range Northern Colorado which is mostly devoid of interesting menus. I gave it a check for Notable Wine List because they really do have some notable wines yet the list is not overwhelming. Our server was successful in guiding us to the right wine. The room can get loud and it is an open room. I guess it depends on who is there and how much of the wine list they have consumed. Our server seemed knowledgeable on the menu and wine list. There was a mistake along the way but the manager and server made up for it along the way. In short, we'll go back.

Best Restaurant in N. Colorado
I live in L.A., but am originally from Fort Collins. Having become somewhat of a foodie, I'm usually at a culinary loss when coming home for visits. That said, Chimney Park has become an absolute must for me whenever I am home. The food is completely on par with some of the best restaurants I've dined at in New York and L.A., and the service is better! You can't get that Colorado kindness just anywhere! If you're visiting Northern Colorado, or live in the area, I HIGHLY recommend you chek this place out for a TRUE fine dining experience, which is, unfortunately, rare in this particular area. If you are a foodie like me, you definitely won't be disappointed!

The staff at Chimney Park continues to impress us with their service. Enjoyed our dinner of bison and hanger steaks and tried a new dessert, a meringue with lemon curd and fresh mixed berries, a must try this summer!
7/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
As always, the food was terrific.
As always, the food was terrific. The roasted beet, quinoa and goat cheese salad was a perfect starter, and the meringue with lemon curd was the perfect ender. Everything in the middle was great, too.

We came because of the reputation for fresh, local produce and were not disappointed. We had excellent preparations across the board - meats and seafood alike. Service was well-paced and engaged. Wine list is nicely constructed and well-matched to food offerings, with a some aged and/or esoteric bottles mixed in.

Great Birthday Dinner!
My family and I (with 3 young children in tow) celebrated my birthday here, and we had a wonderful time. The food was extremely good, and the service was wonderful (even with the 3 young children in tow). The restaurant is on the quiet side, so I was definitely worried about the children being too raucous, but they did a pretty good job of behaving. I wouldn't recommend this as a typical place to bring young children, but they were definitely accomodating when we did.

not merely great food . . .
The first martini on their list is simply too2too good
You won't be able to stop at one, but really should
If you, as I, break down and go for a second . . .

Great food - appetizers through dessert! Portions were perfect and we really enjoyed the Sunday night 25% off any bottle of wine! Service was fantastic. We'll be back again and again!

Best Restaurant in Northern CO
I find the food here to be the mot inventive any where in the area and the emphasis on cooking with what s fresh and local makes it my favorite. Also you shouldn't miss Sunday nights when wine bottles are 25% off.

Great food, drink, and service. Not inexpensive but you can go casual.
7/28/2013 5:00:00 PM
Even with a torrential downpour that flooded the employee's parking lot, the service was still outstanding and the food top-notch. The wine pairings with the chef's tasting menu didn't disappoint. We were there for 2 1/2 hours, but we didn't seem to notice. The waitress was friendly and upbeat.
8/3/2013 12:00:00 AM
We dine here for special occasions about 3-4 times per year. Every time the meal has been perfect. This last visit was no exception. The lobster bisque is a favorite as is the bison. It was my wife's birthday,a nd thye made a delightful complimentary birthday presentation of chocolate truffles for the whole table.
8/7/2013 12:00:00 AM
First time visitor and the experience was excellent. We chose the chefs dinner which which provided a four course meal based on a few initial questions at the beginning. It was wonderful and the food was amazing. We enjoyed our anniversary and will gladly return in the future.

I have been to Chimney Park several times for different occassions. Each time has been wonderful and my latest experience was no different. The food is excellent and the service is wonderful. There is not a better restaurant in the area. Chimney Park has become a gem.

We both ordered the halibut.
We both ordered the halibut. The flavor was outstanding, but the fish was slightly overdone. The arugula/red pepper base was delicious, as was the polenta, but the vegetables should have been cut in smaller pieces, for ease of enjoying all of the flavors at once.
Chimney Park is the best restaurant in Northern Colorado. And we will absolutely return again and again.
The service is impeccable, the ambiance great, and the food is fresh and well prepared.

Chefs tasting menu
We enjoyed the chefs tasting menu. We also had the wine pairings.
The dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients nicely seasoned and paired well with the wines they selected. Service was excellent and we plan to return again in the future.

Evening with friends
We have dined here a couple of times with friends. The menu is not expansive, but every item has always been well-prepared and beautifully presented. The seasoned waitstaff is informed and helpful without being aggressive, and they always seem to be present at just the right moment. Save room for dessert!

Awesome restaurant and the
Awesome restaurant and the best food in NOCO, hands down!. Our server Roberto was outstanding, attentive, engaging and the timing how things come out and appear is magical. The Chef's dinner was delicious! Seasonal and local produce made the dinner salad special. Thanks for the crazy good flourless chocolate birthday cake...absolutely nothing like we had ever had before...amazingly great and even better than Grandmas! Topped off with Fireworks on the patio from the Windsor Harvest Fest made for a memorable evening. Thanks to all who make it happen at CP. We will be back soon...
8/31/2013 12:00:00 AM
Very special occasion dinner. The only disappointment of the evening was the noise level. Part way through our dinner, a table of 5 left, and it was better, but still needs some improvement. Maybe some type of movable screens? The draped fabric on the ceiling is a start. The food was excellent and the service very good. Some of the best lamb I have ever had ! I would definitely recommend it and we plan to go back. We really enjoyed the extensive wine selection.
9/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
We had the chefs tasting with wine pairings and the entire meal was excellent. Very creative courses paired nicely and our server was knowledgable and right on cue all night. We look forward to visiting again.

We went with a group of friends to celebrate my husband's birthday. Had a wonderful evening! James, our server, is the best. Very knowledgable about the wines and wine pairing, we had a great time.

Nice date night.
We really enjoyed our meal at Chimney Park. Due to flooding issues and needing to make a show at Budweiser Events Center we were a little rushed. Make sure you have enough time to enjoy your meal. It will enhance the experience.
9/14/2013 12:00:00 AM
The restaurant always finds things from the area and incorprates them in their dishes. If not from Windsor, CO. They are from Colorado. I think that is a great thing for local businesses and products.
9/25/2013 12:00:00 AM
The food was amazing! The sea scallops was perfect.

Creative combinations of unique, local ingredients. Food preparation is flawless. Service friendly but unobtrusive. Absolutely delicious - a real treat.

It was such a surprise to find in little Windsor. Reminded me of delicious experiences in cities like New York. I am so happy to have found chimney park so close to my house!

Ribeye to die for!
We always expect a great experience at Chimney Park and have never been disappointed. The ribeye was divine. I always know the quality is going to be here.

A wonderful find
My fiancee and I were in Windsor and were drawn in by the smells of Chimney Park. We had the Chefs tasting menu each and were pleased that they provided each of us with a different course each time so that we actually got to taste 8 dishes. Everything was great and we really enjoyed the wine pairings as well. Our server (Kate) was very knowledgeable and apt at describing both our food and drinks. We loved it so much we went back a few weeks later for my fiancee's 30th birthday and were just as pleased.

Experince on October 18
This is by far my favorite restaurant in northern Colorado. The food is consistently outstanding and I love that they use local ingredients. The flavors are so complex and the food is beautifully presented. We have been going to Chimney Park for our anniversary for several years now and always walk away feeling completely satisfied. It's a great place to celebrate a special occasion. I highly recommend this restaurant!
10/18/2013 12:00:00 AM
Creative and delicious
Food is always outstanding and presented beautifully. My only disappointment was the martini, which was served in a very small glass and wasn't up to normal quality. But aside from that, we had a great evening.
11/1/2013 5:00:00 PM
a happy anniversary meal
My husband and I dined at Chimney Park for our second wedding anniversary. The food was delicious and the portions were very large (foie gras, anyone?). Our waiter Roberto was awesome, and we appreciated the extra kindness for our special night. It was a great experience and we are already planning to go back for my birthday in a couple of months.
(On a side note, the table next to us unfortunately included a very loud gentleman whose behavior and complaint were best suited for a sports bar or TGIF, but the staff handled him graciously like true professionals.)

Great food and staff. You think it cannot get better here but it does

First Time at Chimney Park
It was fantastic and FAR exceeded my expectations (which were quite high). The food, wine and service were impeccable! I had the scallops and a fine glass of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc...wow! My only slight disappointment was that we had a back corner table and a couple kept coming in and out of the back door :-( I don't know if they were smoking out there or what...but it was surely odd and a tad bit disruptive as there was no service outside on a chilly Fall night. However, it did not deter from out fine dining experience and we will surely be returning from Cheyenne. Thank you!

I took my wife to Chimney Park Bistro for her birthday after I raved about it for a long time to her and the experience did not disappoint. The food was incredible and the service was excellent. I have already started planning our next visit and we are bringing her parents along to share the experience with us.

One of the best
We chose to celebrate my husband's mother's birthday at Chimney park, and we were not disappointed. Everything about the evening was exquisite. Our server treated the "birthday girl" like a queen and made substitutions for my less than adventurous father-in-law.
The food was fabulous, everything fresh and cooked to perfection. A big part of our travel adventures is trying top restaurants all over the world. We recently moved to Windsor and were very surprised that we have such a fine restaurant in our backyard. We hope to have many more celebrations at Chimney Park.
