We've eaten at The Water Club
We've eaten at The Water Club several times for dinner (after having attended a Bat Mitzvah there) and loved it each time. Unlike many other restaurants that are popular because they have a view, this one actually has wonderful food and the food is as memorable as the view. It's great for special occasions but the prices are reasonable enough that you can also go more frequently. A really lovely, underrated venue. We're so happy to see that it reopened after the hurricane. We can't wait to go back!

So happy to see the Water Club has reopened after their devastating loss due to Super Storm Sandy....perfect, as usual

An impromptu trip to this
An impromptu trip to this popular destination by members of the 'bridge and tunnel crowd' was well worth it. Our table, like most, was comfortable and had a great view. The service was impeccable. My Beef Wellington appetizer was rare, flavorful and altogether outstanding. Our main dishes were fine as well (trout & tuna). We will be back!

A happy recovery
We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary at the Water Club, after attending a Broadway show. I was concerned that restaurant may not measure up to its past because if Sandy. It took them a year to rebuild and reopen the restaurant. To my great surprise the Water Club looks as it did before, the serving staff is the same and so is the quality of their food and service.

Glad it is back after horrible
Glad it is back after horrible Storm Sandy. It needs a little reviving, maybe some advertising would help. Othwerwise it will be a slower "word of mouth" resurgence. It is a civlised experience to enjoy the quiet, the food, the view and the service.
