Outstanding service in a sophisticated setting that works also for families over weekends. Their wine cellar is a great party place -- and the chef's tables make diners feel very special. Ideal for a quiet business lunch, a family party, a special night out -- and the Italian food is delicious.

What a Surprise
We had our first visit to Fiorini on Saturday night. We loved it and will definitly go back. Beautiful decor and tables nicely spaced, very unusual in NYC. Everyone's food was outstanding. Our only complaint was the slow service. It might be one of those restaurants where they treat the regulars well, but not the newbies. We could actually have a conversation without yelling - very refreshing.

good for lunch
Excellent for lunch on the east side if you don't want to spend a fortune. Good food. Quiet which lends for good conversation.
I had a salad and swordfish for lunch and both were quite good.

Only disadvantage of this
Only disadvantage of this absolutely reliable Italian eatery is that it is closed Sunday and Monday. Delicious salads and pastas. Great staff. Terrific wine cellar party room. Two nice chef's tables. Attracts a sophisticated lunch crowd, a well-behaved family crowd on weekend nights, a faithful constituency of neighbors each night and at lunch. You get a warm welcome and eat very well here for fair price and high quality.

Sort of a throw back to a quieter, less crowded, more elegant New York. Perfect New York East Side neighborhood restaurant, with space, attentive service and good food.

Another great experience
Fiorini has become one our favorite Italian restaurants. The food is always very good, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the tables are very far apart for NYC. Our waiter was great, attentive but not overbearing, and there was no pressure to hurry. Can't wait to go back!

Gem in NYC
For a normal Manhattan restaurant - this place was so quiet and so spacious. Food was great - flavorful and done well. Service could have been a touch more attentive but we got what we needed and he was very knowledgeable of the menu. I will definitely be back at this restaurant.

My fiancé and I stumbled across this restaurant and we will most certainly be back! The crowd is very old but that added to the charm, and the food was phenomenal. We had three courses and wine, and each bite/sip was better than the next.

Simple comfortable and attractive
Simple comfortable and attractive decor and better than most Northern Italian food. Very broad menu supplemented by excellent specials. Fiorini is a solid east side go to.

Catching up with a friend
Catching up with a friend was great because we shared all our dishes and really extending our stay having a good time. no one rushed us or made us feel that we were overstaying. The restaurant is great size and it has a small bar which could also be a destination in itself. We really enjoyed our dishes including the delicious ricotta torte for dessert.
I would definitely recommend it.

Always love Fiorini - it's
Always love Fiorini - it's a great neighborhood spot with some of the best food in the city. The veal dishes are always favorites and the insalate bianca is something I could eat every day.

Enjoyed a night out
Was looking forward to this and it didn;t disappoint too much The profiterole for dessert was a big disappointment and definitely not worth it. The baked clams appetizer was ok, not outstanding. Same for the Bufalo mozzarella. The main courses of linguine vongole and rigatoni bolognese were both outstanding. Same for the bread, deliciously crusty and also foccacia. I was also disappointed in the price of a glass of Sangovese. $15! I am sure I could purchase a bottle retail for less than that. So next time I will be more careful in what I order and what I drink.

Quiet Clubby Charmer
An older, sophisticated crowd patronizes to this civilized yet friendly neighborhood Italian for reliably fine food, polished service, quiet conversation, comfortable clubby ambience. Wine cellar is a wonderful party venue. If it's not on the menu, they will make it for you -- beautifully. Lunch attracts mostly a business crowd.

Comfort from the rain.
Nice bar with "free pour" friendly barkeep. Open windows to the street. Refined crowd. Great food and service...all things appealing.

We were first-timers. Really
We were first-timers. Really liked the food, service, and decor. Sort of Milanese in feel. The only complaint is that the prosciutto & melon came with a tasteless piece of melon (maybe out of season?).

intimate romantic dinner
my wife and I had an early romantic dinner the night before the marathon. Fiorini was exactly what we needed! The pasta was perfect for our pre race meal. This is a gem in New York City.

Fiorini is a beautiful Italian Restaurant. Subtle lighting and soft decor makes it very inviting. We were there on the early side which was actually very nice. It was quiet and we had great service. The hostess was warm and welcoming and our server was very attentive. The food and wine were wonderful, we will be going to Fiorini again !

The food is delectable and served with quiet professionalism. Also, this restaurant is far more roomy than most midtown places. Go.
