Not my first time and not my last
Took my in-laws and out of town friends who love Szechwan food. What I like about LVeS is that the flavors are fresh and direct. The food tastes fresher than it does at many other Szechwan places, perhaps because there's somewhat less oil used, and it doesn't mask the flavors? Not sure. I tried some things I hadn't before and wasn't disappointed. Conch with chile oil, sea clams with celery and scallion sauce, sesame noodles (standard dish, but nicely done), fried chicken with fried dough twists, and a range of other dishes. All good. They do vegetables well, too. I really like the pickled vegetables and recommend it. Alas, I have too many vegetarian friends and family members, so I've never explored the pork options. All look good.
